I LOVE that John said 'it's been eleven years, I'm waiting for the phone to ring' - there really is nothing but LOVE between all these guys.....they accept the good, bad and the ugly about each other - true lifelong friendships.
and then he says that Richie was just at Jon's house, which is much more than just a phone call.
That doesn't make any sense to me! They must have talked about the band and the future during that time!!
Richie also said a short time ago that he wants to go back and that they have to reunite for the fans!!
That's why I find Jon's statements confusing.
@@kalterkakaozumfruhstuck1515 I think Jon more or less meant 'He is waiting on Richie to tell him' not a literal phone call. I absolutely think these guys have it dialed in - Richie needed time and space for whatever reasons and the guys understood and they are hoping Richie comes back. I love it!
yeah no Richie feels very differently. And he has publicly bagged to come back. Jon prefers Shanks
@@stephjovi The best thing for Bon Jovi is to get Richie back....Jon isn't a pretty boy anymore so its going to take the magic of him and Richie on that stage to keep bon jovi relevant. IMHO.
@@pkcollins8300 well his fans have aged with him so many still love him shaking his as.
The magic will never be back. The mic sharing was magic now we know they don't like each other so it'll never be magic again.
Plus Jon is already horse from the promo tour how is he supposed to do a real tour
After binging the series and getting the full story on what drove Richie away, I think it highlights what a decent person Jon is. I can say I was annoyed hearing the quiet tension that built up and culminated in him quiting with zero warning. The fact he still says he's waiting for a phone call shows he's more patient than I am.

Same, I really don't understand that
jon wants richie back, richie wants to come back. the only problem at this point is shanks, richie is not going to join the band unless shanks has a smaller role and to be honest that’s 100% fair. Richie and Jon are Bon Jovi not Shanks and there’s no need to have three guitar players on tour.
@@redarrow6188 who is shanks?
@@BadHorsie1 the producer for bon jovi. he also tours with them
Richie brought him a birthday gift and apparently Jon upset him yet again. Richie left without watching most of it
Too funny..
I've seen quite a bunch of recent promo talks of Jon about that new TV doc:
Does he literally LIVE in that same single brown jacket?
Its the same at EVERY occasion 😆
He most likely did several interviews in the same day
Don't we all wear the same jacket a lot?
it’s clearly his docu-promo jacket
@@CamiloEG
No. Different dates, at least for a lot
@@marymore7366
Yeah 😉 Obviously
One of the best music documentaries I’ve seen & even better that it’s about my beloved Bon Jovi! Excellent storytelling while staying focused on the music. Now I’m appreciating Jon’s philanthropy & really hope Dorothea’s restaurant orders get prioritized 💞
It was an amazing series that told a beautiful, honest story about some brilliant musicians and people.
Ciao Jon, I Watched now another interwy at television. I'm proud to be your fan, all of You are beautiful, I Hope to listen a new Song as soon. Much love Always, Elena ❤️💋👋🤞🤞💯🔥☺️ I Always pray God to give You, dear Jon, a Nice voice, You are a fighter, don't forget this‼️🙏☘️🍀
Thank the band for 40 years and many more tess.music is bon Jovi,s life and soul tess❤❤❤❤❤❤
Release all 30 extra songs! We want more!
❤ always forever
Release a box set with all of the unreleased songs!
They already did
@@ndubbs21w720 years ago! There are rumours circling of a new box set. Still loads more that didn't make the last one
@@tuijamaki7135 100 Million Bon Jovi fans can't be wrong

Definitely not! ❤️
He said in the documentary there are so many songs he found that he should have released because they are good. They are not on that box set.
All the band members are cool before 40 years and after.hope bon Jovi feels better tess hope touring full is soon❤
Thank you and good night Tess bon Jovi and the band tess❤❤❤❤❤
Ive been a huge fan for 40 yrs. I was along for the ride the whole time. Sadly, its not the same without Ritchie. But the documentary is great. Ive watched it twice
Richie left because of personal issues but the real reason why he didn’t come back it’s because he was feeling like a band’s employee. During their break in the early 90’s, Jon really prepared the band to the next step and took the lead on it. That move consolidated him even more as THE leader of the band. The other members accepted pretty well but Richie always felt hurt about it.
See you on the road soon Tessa bon Jovi love you all
I love how he keeps saying "we" and not "I".
Jon a legend 🇮🇪🇮🇪❤️
Jon Bon Jovi is now an endemic species, this character straight from a fairy tale in which there is no room for stillness or inaction, he has such an original personality of creation that does not allow you to pass by it indifferently without at least a moment of reflection or reflection on how life can be fragile short and like a daydream it becomes so real when you listen to music created by someone who has never avoided hard work and like never before it is ours today we are involuntary participants in this great project that is human life and to no longer be accused of writing which has no end, I will say in the words of the song "it's my life" and all the rest is just a blink of an eye at the master's whim.
It hurts me knowing Richie has never given him a call or explanation. My respect for Richie is gone. They're doing great!❤❤❤❤❤
Esse cabelos e essa jaqueta afffff🤔
Ok I need an answer from the band themselves. At the end of Raise Your Hands....Jon is listing off towns. For the last 30 or so years At the end I swear he says Sayerville New Jersey. I saw on a lyrics site it was Salem, New Jersey. Hey guys if you can clear this up I would be very grateful!! Been a fan since the beginning!!!
I'm no authority but I hear Sayerville New Jersey also...
@@paulelverstone8677 I always thought that since that was his hometown. I have a ton of family in that area.
A guy called Desmond? That´s the credit to Desmond child who helped them get from 7800 Degrees fahrenheit almost losing the record deal, to global succes?
Des to his friends... ;o)
The host was really cool in not getting Jon out of there… The dude really didn’t want to be there that day…
I feel so sorry for Jon. He must be so tired of talking about Richie. Nearly the first question hes asked in all the interviews are about Richie
Now time for Jon to rest his voice doing all these interviews
Om jon kamu saya bebskan ajah deh pusing ungu lagi ungu lagi mah.....udh kena restriksi sama aparat hukum.....saya tdk berbisnis dgn cara kotor itu ajah mksdnya
Has Jon made an effort to reach out to Richie? Why wait for the phone to ring? Make the first move jon
The man lives on a limited pay check.
Jon seems really bored and unpolite here.
The host is very professional, trying really hard not to say "you can't sing anymore, get TF out of my studio"
That is his normal behavior. He has been trying to put on a front recently to promote the documentary.
What rubbish
If you can't tell who the real soul of the band was then you're blind. After Richie left there is nothing, not one hit song. Just 100 songs that all sound the same. Jon doesn't want Richie back in the band. Jon was glad to see Richie go, then he could pay PhilX very little and take Richie's cut. Jon is about money, why else would you beat this dead horse tour after tour. And he sounds awful. Please retire. 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 PLEASE
Difficult to disagree with a lot of this. While I loved the band as a kid, really, I haven't heard anything decent since 2005's HaND.
Bon Jovi is a bRand - not a band now...
Oh, yes, the've done a lot, a lot of crap music. 😂😂😂
🤢🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮
