Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G - Setup and Software Experience

Hi,
This is the first of your videos I've checked out. I've already seen several videos re the mi 11 lite 5G so I wasn't expecting a great deal that was new or startling.
What I liked about your presentation was the pace and the no nonsense approach. The little details that you went into like the placement of the cards in the tray was the kind of little detail that few, if any, other reviewers touch on.
Your level of preparedness came across and helped to provide a relaxed and authoritative review. Really appreciated your efforts thank you.
Take care, keep safe.
Hello Barbara,
Thank you so much for such a thoughtful and kind comment. It really makes it feel worth posting on this platform. Glad you enjoyed the detail we go into on our channel, and that you learned something from it, it's great to hear.
Thank you so much again, and all the best to you as well!
Nice Video. Thanks!
Great video :) What about the SD card you inserted? It's not shown in any storage menu in this video. Does it work like extending internal memory or it's separated and you have to copy files manually on it?
Hi, thanks for the kind words. If you check the video at 07:16, at the bottom of the storage space screen, you can see "SanDisk SD card" at the very bottom of the screen, and once you scroll down a bit, you can see more information about external storage. We're planning a more detailed video about it soon, talking more about dual SIM cards and SD cards, similar to the Redmi Note 10 Pro video we did a while ago: ua-cam.com/video/AYN0KC9eH68/v-deo.html.
In short, you can set photos and videos to be stored on the SD card, which is great if you take a lot of photos. Some apps like Netflix allow you to select download location for videos in the app between internal and SD card. It's a bit more tricky to move games and other apps to SD card, but that's not because of MIUI or Xiaomi, but overall Android restrictions for security reasons. You can also copy files directly, so if you have some movies or music you want to copy from your computer to the SD card and then use them, you can always do it, and there's a File Manager app which lets you browse the files on both local storage and SD card.
Hope this helps, thanks for the question and thanks for watching!
Thank you for the video Lukasz
Thanks for checking it out!
Hi Have some questions if I may. What sensor does it exactly uses? How quick does it lock on to GPS? Download & upload speeds using a UK 5G SIM? Dual Speakers stereo audio great? Will it survive odd rainfall or accidental water spills? No sign of throttling, heating or screen dimming? Can you change the icon pack on the phone itself or change the theme to become more stock Android? I heard you can hide apps by swiping left (or right) on the apps drawer? Have you had any more updates since doing this video? Do you think this is more better than the Poco F3 in terms of cameras, performance, battery life?

Amazing device! 😻
Thanks!
You think is better then OP Nord 2? Thank you
I used to be a iPhone fan then Samsung then Huawei now Xiaomi for its amazing quality at such low prices as it's mission statement said they try to keep profit margin at 5%,
And often they try to copy best from most brands, I love Xiaomi, I still buy Samsung though,
it has good Dex and video out on it's devices tablets where none of the Xiaomi products have that kind of eco system.
buenas que bueno q fuera en español
Jak gra na słuchawkach?
English: What is the headphone audio quality like? Well, there's no 3.5mm headphone jack, so you either have to use a converter to USB-C, or connect via Bluetooth 5.2. I'm just listening to some UA-cam music videos via Bluetooth and it sounds great. You also get dual speakers, and they're excellent as well. Thanks for watching!
Redmi Note 10 Pro or Mi 11 Lite 5g? :)
This or Samsung a52
