Beautiful mane. I'm just getting into customizing and have found your videos to be wonderful and informative. I appreciate them more than you know. These new videos are coming out at the perfect time and are excellent. So, I truly thank you!
That’s great to hear, and welcome to the world of customizing! I hope you’ve been enjoying it so far (it’s definitely my favorite part of the model horse hobby). I’m slowly trying out a new editing style, so glad to hear your thoughts on these new videos!
Thank you for this! Quick question, my resin came with a mane that i would like to remove. How would i go about doing that before resculpting the mane?
Glad you liked it! Two options for removing a mane are a rotary drill with a sanding drum bit (that will be the quickest way) and since resin is a little softer than a plastic Breyer, you could probably also get it off with just sandpaper. I would try to reach out to the sculpting artist first, or search for their policies online, as not all sculpting artists allow customizing on the resins they sell. Most are fine as long as you don’t cast the newly customized horse, but since some artists are still very strict, it never hurts to check first.
You are one of my favorite artist to watch. Great video.
Awww, thank you, and thanks so much for watching! 😊
Thank you for sharing your technique
Great Video! Thank you for the content 😌
Love this mane! Thank you for explaining the tin. I've often wondered what to use to make it stuff enough to sculpt on. 😊👍
Glad you liked it! It’s worked pretty well for me over the years and hopefully it helps others too
Look's awesome! I really liked how you put the little drapes on the show side. 😊👍
Thanks! I thought those gave her nice “messy hair, don’t care” vibes
You really cought the attitude of a horse in a stall throwing their mane around with out care. Lol
This was extremely helpful thanks ☺️
Glad it was helpful! 😊
A fantastic tutorial!
Thank you 😊😊😊
Now I want to tear the mane off my custom Adios and try this method!
