Thunder Gun has a point cap, that's why it's so bad at getting them. Basically you can kill a whole horde but it will only count zombies up to 300 points or something like that, not counting all the zombies you kill.
A lot of people argue the BO3 version is better, but it’s not. On BO1 it is harder to set up, (in a good way) and in BO3 you can destroy the progression of a match with gobble gums.
Kino der toten is the map where you don't have to think about it, just hop on, and survive as long as you can. No Easter eggs, no complicated maneuvers. So Its the best map to me
kino is where a lot of people learnt how to play zombies because its a perfect map to show a new player all of the existing concepts in the game mode, it's honestly one of the best designed maps they ever released imo, it's not flashy or bringing anything new but i think its a perfect example of the map they wanted to make, i wouldn't say it's the best map to play right now but i do think it's the perfect launch map they needed at the time which is why i would say its the best
I can't fault people for hold Kino in high regard, tbh. I put it up there with Buried and Shadows, as ends / starts of each Zombies era. Yeah you could argue Origins but I'd argue back Shadows is when they REALLY went whole hog into everything. Kino is the last simple "nazi zombies" with the emphasis on the nazis, and it's just...dumb fun.

Kino is one of the most consistent maps to set up on and anyone can learn all there is to it in less than 20 minutes. It also offers ideal training locations but isn't braindead easy. The Galatz is a real world variant of the Galil that's like a battle rifle or some sort of marksman rifle. It's in Cold War but you basically had to put certain attachments on it to turn the Galil into the Galatz. TLDR: Cold War has secret guns/conversion kits like MW2019
I remember playing WaW on a Nacht match and i was put in a lobby with a rainbow named person and then all the 360 achievments where unlocked for the game..
But Kino does have a easter egg it was even given a new one in chronicles not every zombies map needs some elaborate Easter egg with like a billion steps

To your point of the Cold War campaign, I just loved the fact that you could kill Adler in the “bad ending”. Seeing as he offs you at the end of the cannon story, I lost all respect and liking for this character. This was the start of my villain arc which admittedly ended soon after I did a 360 no scope on him. I even got an achievement for that. Point is, yes go through the campaign again, but be sure to do the extra goodies you get along side it, don’t just plow through the full thing.

They don't need to bring it back because if you want to start the games with a pistol, with no attachments. Then do it. Don't allow attachments on that pistol until you get the same pistol, I always, have a class set up, called "challenges" and it's the M1911, no attachments, with energy mines. Because they are the closest to bouncing Betty's/claymores. If you want to have a classic zombies progression, just start with the pistol. They don't need to add a feature that forces you into it... Yes they can make a mode like they did in cold war, outlast survival. But it also added other things rather than just the starter pistol. Edit: remember, the gun game mods from these videos they include the wonder weapon the maps usually. Like octagonal ascension. You got the Mark 2 mid way. It's a wonder weapon from the mods/maps. Not the game itself.

i only recently picked up bo3 (haven't played since bo2) to play zombies again and until i played DE kino was my fav map....
