Pretending to be happy when you're in pain is just an example of how strong you are as a person. True STRENGTH is smiling when you want to cry, laughing to hide the pain, no matter what you're going through. My dog recently just died, he made it to 7 years. We had to get him put down because he was barking too much when we weren't home.. the fact that my dog had to be put down because he missed us like crazy makes me breakdown even thinking about it, not going to lie i'm shedding tears right now. I know pathetic. But i'll just have to put up a smile & keep being strong.
It sucks when you go through so much to the point of being almost dead inside. Went from a lonely kid to a lonely teen who went through depression and has serious ptsd. I never wanted to lose more then I’ve gained, but I guess that’s the result of not wanting an easy life. So far the only thing keeping me happy is my baby cousin. She is the reason I can stay out of my room and meet the family even though I don’t like some of the members.
I honestly know exactly how you feel. I'm 21 and I'm still dealing with my depression and it seems like it doesn't matter how hard I try, I'm not getting anywhere with my life. Literally was that lonely kid who turned into the lonely teenager and now I'm an even more messed up adult who can't stop thinking everything would just go away if I just stopped but I already know that ain't true either. I'm so far gone I can't tell if I'm living or if I'm dying. I just keep on waking up into this nightmare hoping it all just goes away one day.
