Hi Juca ! In order to avoid un-mounting the neck any time you need to adjust the truss rod, there is an accessory you can get from StewMac or on EBay: the Truss Rod Crank. It is a cranked metal piece that will allow you to reach the Truss Rod Screw just by unscrewing and lifting the pickguard, without having to remove the neck. Lots of hassle and time saving… Else: nice guitar and great tone :) Cheers !

Man I totally agree about adjusting the truss rod! I don't understand purists that think it should be that way just because it used to be. I can sort of get it if they're talking about an actual vintage model or something that they're restoring or whatever for accuracy. It makes no sense to do that on a modern guitar though, even if it's "old style". That just makes it worse for no reason in my opinion.

Yeah I agree. But I'm loving the guitar! It sounds so rich and full that I already forgot the truss rod...lol. Cheers

Buy one with adjustment at headstock end then.. Historical specs is what the vintera is about

To be fair you get better adjustment of the truss rod when it is at the heel. Access can be annoying but the actual truss rod tends to work better especially on a hard maple neck.

How do you like the 7.25 radius? Does it feel strange compared to your other guitars?

I like it, different of course but very comfortable. In fact the guitar is very comfortable. It seems like an extension of my body. Cheers

Boas Juca. Porquê o ajuste no truss rod??

I hate truss rods like that. Ironically I have a Charvel with the adjustment down there and several Fenders where it's up top where it belongs. You don't have to remove the strings. Just put a capo on the first fret and loosen them. That makes it easier but I will never have another guitar that I have to do all that just to make a truss rod adjustment.
And while it may not be a Custom Shop, it's still not a cheap guitar and you shouldn't have to do any fret work on it. I'd send it back where it came from and get another.

The guitar is fine now. I have Charvel as well and more traditional Fenders. This one is like this. Not a big deal now. It sounds superb. Cheers
