- Here is a video I made of me testing out my new metal detector that I found on my local car boot sale.
not sure how this kind of video will do on this channel but I do have another channel ready for content like this maybe in the future.
I'm definitely not or claim to be a knowledgeable metal detectorist I'm just learning as I go.

Good video really enjoyed it, maybe up the discrimination mode on the detector to get rid of some of the trash.
Yes that is a good point I'm still learning how to use it ( no manual ) but I have found the manual online I will research the device a bit further glad you enjoyed it 😀 as long as someone did I'm happy with that thanks 👊

Have you tested different metals at home? Get use to the different tones and readings between gold,silver, aluminum etc. Get someone to put a gold ring,silver chain, coins and squashed aluminum cans under bath towels to see if you can tell - will save on a lot of digging and time when you go out.
i did try but it says not to use indoors due to interference and stuff but i will do the same thing il take a silver coin a gold ring and some other bits and see if i can learn from that thanks for the tip tho i like the towel idea akso thanks for watching 😎
You couldn't have picked the worst shovel to use...lol, you must have been pissed off with cans by the end of the day!
Yes it was a terrible choice haha I have a better one now 😂 and yeah the cans was a little annoying but it's like I say you never know if I dig 50 cans and then find something good il forget about them then 😆. Thanks for watching too
