Join me as I take my First look at VRC PRO on PC Racing at NEO-2 CLASS 1:8th Electric Buggy. Trying to improve my RC driving skills so hopefully this game will help a little. Hopefully we can make big improvements this year out at the track. As always. Thanks for tuning in and see you in the comments.

Been playing the game for a while but never tested myself on "Neo-2".
I thought I was doing good when I got down to 31.7 but that was only good for "80% course record".
A good source for laptimes is time trial records which show the top 100 alltime 2min runs.
Another decent run on this system. Perception is really hard at times I know. Thanks for sharing Paul!
I'm not going to lie, it may not look like on the real track, but it help a very very very slight percentage. Yerhh depth of field is a shame. But in the real world it can be tough for us old boys.
I've had VRC Pro for a long time but have only played intermittently. Use an old wired xBox360 controller, which isn't too bad to be honest.
Would like to try a proper wheel transmitter though. Just need to source a cheap USB thingy. The online events that VRC run are good fun, you get to race against other people's ghost replays and get some competitive juices flowing.
I got mine from ebay for like
20 quid. Makes a world of difference.
this game really should implement mods and vr. If it did that the game looks like it would be amazing and the mods could pull it back to modern gaming, give it infinite tracks and cars, and just an endless ammount of options.
Yerhh the first thing I looked for when I bought it many years ago was if there was any mods out there. I am also surprised there hasn't been a follow up. Maybe the company no longer exists or the sales didn't do too well. Who Knows. Pity really.
There are plenty of addons bring released for simulator on steam regularly
is there much latency on steering / throttle - when you turn, how long does it take that car turns on screen? I am just thinking to get gear also for this :) Thanks for the video!
I have never noticed any TBH.
Problem with this ya gotta subscribe to get full benefits from it but at basic level its kinda annoying but if you add a RL tx it makes it fun not sure if you make a change in the tx that it will transfer to vr car
Yerhhh It has its limits. I bought practically all the DLC for it through Steam a few years back. Find myself using the same few tracks. Never understood why they didn't release an updated version of it. They just released new content for it though so you never know. Cheers for tuning in.
Great video i was wondering if you have a club on this simulator
Cheers. I do not sorry. I kind of wish they would upgrade this game.
Where can i get this game ?do you have to be online to play this or does it load on the computer and play without internet?
Get it through Steam Games. Has to be downloaded as far as I know.
@@FullOnRC awesome thanks for fast response can it be played offline after downloading?
@johnsorensen5758 I'm no 100% sure tbh. It connects to the Web each time you launch it to check for updates etc. Best see if Google has an answer. I wouldn't want to tell you wrong answer sorry.
@@FullOnRC I have searched but can't find a answer what are the chances that you would try playing it with your internet off and see if it works and let me know I would be forever grateful 😁
@@johnsorensen5758it launches through Steam and Steam has an offline mode. I will try in the morning if I remember. My gut feeling is it may work up to a point, but this game has online elements that are integral to the game. If I had to bet on it I would say yes, you need a Internet connection.
Does it feel realistic?
If you use your race transmitter yes to a degree.
@@FullOnRC how you use a transmitter
Something like this connected to a reciever

I use to play this a lot, it’s real cool. My computer is not that great and when I first started playing I noticed that something wasn’t quite right with the action of the simulator. I then read somewhere that if you were having trouble or un-smooth action during the game to go into the settings and turn some features off, so I did. I can’t remember everything I turned off but I looked over everything and turned off all the unnecessary stuff. I remember I turned off the shadows and nitro smoke, I think I turned off a few other things but I really can’t remember everything. Once I turned off some stuff, it was just like real racing; at least I felt like it was. I recommend it, it’s good. I think it definitely made me a better racer in real life. It teaches you everything about driving and throttle control, jumping and controlling your car in the air too. If you are a beginner and are having fun with real life RC racing, and want to get better, it’s definitely for you. You can also make adjustments to your cars setup on it too, I use to mess with this but it never really seemed to do anything to my cars handling i felt
