The three main advantages of cats; a smooth ride with no pounding regardless of sea conditions, lots of space and fuel efficiency. Cats slide through the water, they don’t plow through it. Remember, in Yachting, it is not only the destination, it is the journey.
It's night and day really. Aquila for its price and range is decent. But for higher quality everything I look for Sunreef or Two Oceans. Specifically the Sunreef supreme 68 and the Two Oceans 675.
I’m in the market for a powercat. After watching many Aquila videos I’ve never seen or heard anything about solar power. That is a must have for me as I plan on being in some remote areas. Does Aquila have solar options? If so, how robust? Can I run everything off them? What about a fresh water maker? Has that capability been built into the designs?
Aquila team, is it possible to buy a mini 54 model like the one on this video in the salon? I'd love to have that in my office for motivation for a hopeful order in early 2023. thx
Just walked at Palm Beach boat show. Fit and finish is cheap with bowed flooring and nobody showing us around. Cabinet in front of microwave wobbly. Check out in person before you buy. Also walked Horizon 52 and 60. Night and day on craftsmanship.
I love this boat…I watched many many reviews most annoyingly from ex salesman that has the Aquaholic channel but if you critically think you can use his sales pitch type reviews & actually see the boats well presented..this is my fav boat after years of looking…mums dying tax takes the house my baby & my mortgage takes my everything & id never afford more than the anchor by the time I paid bills & baby & im not enjoying being a dad which is sad as it’s a blessing because I’m literally down to not afford food for me at the months end….the baby is a blessing he has everything..I just watch these boats go by….its ok…but like to ride one one day with my boy..& focus on our real world..
Whoever cast the dolphin to dive at 1:05, BRILLIANT! Do I get a free Aquila for spotting it (like winning "Where's Waldo")? I'd be very happy with a 44 - used even! Then move up to this lovely 54 in a few years. First power cat we ever fell in love with was an Aquila. :)
I'm not sure about the aft layout with the crew quarters and those barstools.....kinda odd and don't think I'd use them at all and just seems very vanilla and unappealing... I love the hidden crane system though
Idk how you sell anything when there’s no real information to get in contact with anyone. Going to the website a bot sends out the same information I can get off the website it doesn’t hook me up with anyone. I’d like to know what kind of options I have on color cabinets pricing and having a davit installed so I can take mopeds and such.
I kind of see what you are saying but when you are actually using that giant beam / space you are probably not thinking about how it's all looking from a far. I do see what you are saying.
I agree, I've been looking at alot of power cats and this looks kinda plain in comparison. A giant pole in the middle and just stark and uninviting....imo.
@@Dan-qk4ns I agree with the pole in the middle.. Seems like the engineering team didn't account for the flex of the fly bridge and added it in as a support.

Trying to reach someone in marketing
there is a handhold for every hand that you can have.......brilliant.
Id love some tech info... not just 500 storage spaces.
engines
range
power inlets
at sea charging
etc
Exactly what I was thinking. What engine options, generators, water maker etc. Range is very important, plus performance stats.
I dare you to take a drink every time he says the word "Notice"
You can add “you have” and “have” to that
After looking at many boating videos in the past two years, this video is the best yet.
Amazing and thoughtful interior design
We agree! You can learn more about this yacht here: bit.ly/3tE6yqA
Very beautiful boat. On my wish list! Well designed.Nice job! I'll start saving now.
Looks awesome!!
The galley sink overlooking the stern party deck with the lowering window was brilliantly designed. It converts the area to a bar.

My favorite yacht in this length. The dingy lift is convenient. Please note, not all marinas were designed for boats this wide.
I thought Two Oceans has a better layout in the 55' and 68-70' range. Same for Sunreef. Aquila prices their boats proper though.
yep an many do not realize this, in the bahamas though you see lots of cats so that may be the best place for a boat like this
VERY BEAUTIFULY MADE AND WELDONE
Beautiful boat with many amazing features. Love the Portuguese Bridge. But I guess if I have to ask how much then I can't afford it.
You mean low tide? Would be really hard to reach top step at high tide!
torn between sunreef 60 and the this 54 ..so far im still feeling the 60 a lot more

Add a hand rail on all stairwells for old guys like me. Love the big windows.
LOL YEP SAME THOUGHT

Check out Silent Yachts. Total electric. Diesel backup avaliable
Sunreef. They have hybrid and electric I believe along with solar panel options.
LOVE

The luxury part is great what r my fishing options n does the 54 side engine controls with sideways movement
Check out the 28
Molokai!
Where could I see a full video of the dingy lift system?

Great review and walk thru ‼️ A totally lovely vessel. ✨🌊🛥🏝👙🌞🍷✨

Would be good if it could have Volvo Penta IPS engines.
We live in the North East US we wouldn't consider a cat without a Sky-Lounge we'd want as many months on the water as possible.
Me to, but Im in the tropics and heat humidity and rain are no fun. Neither is cleaning the mould it brings. Say nothing of the damage to electronics.
Only one issue, as a northeast USA person WOULD LOVE TO GO TO THE FLY WITHOUT GOING OUTSIDE!!, maybe you can fix it in feature built ;o)
Show the wipers in action.

We look forward to answering any questions! You can get in touch with the Aquila team here: www.aquilaboats.com/contact
@@aquilaboats thank you I finally got ahold of Jacob today
Show it at night with the lights on like Mercedes does.
What is the range and is a water maker available or just stored water tanks?
I dont like that everyone would have to go into master stateroom shower to do laundry. Also having to go outside to helm especially in rough weather?
For me the restriction of these cats is range .... 500 gallons is only good for the Caribbean No transatlantic range. 4th room should be a tool room.
Anyone else spot the dolphin at the 1 min mark?
Good eye! We were wondering if anyone would spot the dolphin!
I know, if you want to know the price you can't afford it.
Horrible guest rooms
This guy is a terrible presenter. Great boat though
Looks like a cruise ship, ugly and top heavy
