My uncle fell 60 feet from a drilling rig and broke his back just before his wedding. They were married in the hospital. With him flat on his back on the gurney. The cafeteria bake them a cake and the nurses gave them a celebration in the hospital. Love triumphs.
My grandpa fell 60 feet on to the concert and smashed his whole right side, when he was a painter back in 1970. The effects of the fall didn't really affect him until his mid 70s and then by 80 he could barely walk to the bathroom without help.
He gently and calmly walked in the room maintaining composure and bringing a reassuring smile. I'm sure his control calmed her down and then the husband of hers to be and this love she knew and felt for him spurned her on top have some joyous wedding fun. Praise to the ladies who made the cake. I hope she is fine since she had to go back to the hospital. It would be wonderful if they brought a bed for him.

When you go that far you've already made that other person your other half in dedication, love, commitments, plans and all that's left is to give proof of your commitments by going through the witnessed ceremony in front of usually friends and family. They were as close as they could be without having gone through all the things you can only experience by living together and learning about your and your partner's reactions and handling of life together. I know people who are no longer alive and started off with just feeling pain in their stomach. They went home early too, and their condition worsened without them even knowing. I would want my partner to take care of themselves first. They can get married anywhere anytime, without all the fancy fanfare.

How sick are you that you go to the hospital, but are able to get up, get ready for a wedding, and actually attend then come back and get some “rest” and make it for the end of your reception? I’m sorry, not buying this story. How sick are you that you go to the hospital, but are able to get up, get ready for a wedding, and actually attend then come back and get some “rest” and make it for the end of your reception? I’ve been to the hospital a few times in my life, and let me tell you I wasn’t leaving because I was sick as a dog. Doesn’t jive for me.

She threw up around 4am went at 10 am to the ER. She felt better so she left but then went back because she felt overheated while getting her makeup done. Stayed at hospital until 10 minutes before wedding and was able to eat and stay for the last hour. She never says what it was but did say it wasn't serious.
She actually made the day even more special. She looked gorgeous and followed through with the wedding. No one present will ever forget your special day sweetheart. You are a real trooper.
