The way I see it, Drake had Cole’s back when he was going through the bs with Jay-z. So Cole should’ve had Drake’s back when it came to Kendrick. The only difference is that Drake and Cole had a strenuous relationship with Jay, while only Drake had an issue with Kendrick.
J Cole punched Diddy for essentially trying to bully Drake. If anything Drake was returning the favour when he had Cole's back. Cole showed him support and loyalty early days. Cole's only sin is trying to remain neutral and niggas expecting him to go to war with them.
