I love that the concept of the tree of life is present across many cultures in some way. It's definitely something that connects us all.

Such a deep and beautiful history to these old sentinels that stand guard at the edge of our worlds.

I wonder if you've ever gone to the redwoods. These giants of trees and to be around trees. That aren't just older than you but older than countries. In some cases, thousands of years old. Just to be around those to release Is how truly tiny, you are. It is truly magical.

I love the California redwoods, and the old growth forests of Norway, they are ridiculously magical

very interesting that many cultures have tree of life playing some role in their beliefs. It is very intriguing. A motif I find interesting is how a lot of cultures have dragons and dragons layers

I love the various dragon and dragon slayer cultures from around the world. They're so similar, but so ridiculously different it's a rabbit hole and a half.

The legends and myths that involve a kind of tree of life or knowledge fascinate me a lot. It is very interesting as we culturally use the tree to reflect a kind of spiritual order or balance.
    Thanks for the video

I agree. The subject is so vast and intriguing, I could honestly just tell tree stories for the rest of my life and never run out 😅

Lately I have been fascinated with the origins of the drink Soma and the fact the mushrooms and humans share 50% of our makeup 🍄🤓

It's not at all related with this video but I wonder if Sif's parents have a name in the Tavern's lore, also if the stags that are said to be five have something to do with the seasons and one of them being consumed, I also wonder who are Sigyn parents, if Mundifari is a god of time of sorts and also if Nerthus is the so called sister wife of Njrod, also if Njord has any parents, If Idunn is really daugther of Ivaldi the Jötunn, sorry for all the questions I have become very interseted in Norse Mythology lately and find not that many answers anywhere else, btw great videos loving your content

Hey thanks for the explanation although I do have one question. Do you think you could do a video on Nechtan by any chance? The reason that I ask is because my clan is MacNaughton of Argyll however the original Gaelic name (when translated) is Mac Neachtain. Second, I've been trying to do some research for a while and I've basically come up with nothing. It's as if he doesn't exist. I do know that his symbol is a turning fork and he is also known as Nuadah of the silver arm however, I can't fully confirm if this is true. So I'm just asking if there's any resources that could help me or if you could potentially do a video on Nechtan in the future? Thank you for all that you do! Tioraidh an drasta!

Thank you kindly my friend 🙏
I had an older video on him, but I believe it's disappeared.
This month and next month we're doing "Ancestral Origins" as the general theme, talking about Norse and Celtic ancestors and early Myths. So I likely won't do a full video on him, but he will most definitely be mentioned, since you've asked I'll pay extra mind to include relevant details.
There's very little about Nechtan in common folklore, but I'll share what there is, as well as some Clan stories
