if you cold-start the bike properly by giving time to warm up the engine for around 4min as the rpm settles to 1500 from an initial starting rpm of 2250, the bike will gradually become ever smoother and reliable (in case of sf 250). no problems for me till now.
As all bikes now comes with fuel injection, extra care should be given while starting the bike.
After turning on the key and display wait for 4sec for fuel pump priming, you can here a sound from the fuel tank. you should press ignition switch only after this 4 sec.
Both the above steps are very crucial for the health all IC engine vehicles.

Nice review brother. Liked it.Earlier I had gixxer sf. I really loved the bike in all aspects especially in mileage performance n bike weight.. but was little disappointed with suspension. Just want to know what was your suspension experience on your new gixxer sf 250

In google reviews, i am reading mostly negative reviews of after sales across service centers in Kolkata. I am looking to get it as my first bike and want a good after sales service experience also.

See I bought from chandrani suzuki which is already closed..but u don't to depend on dealer bcz after sale dealer has nothing to do...u have to see the service center review for that I have made video vivaan suzuki...now service is improving so if u r planning to buy u can go for it...

I own naked 250 Gixxer and did Mumbai Goa ride 550km in a day. It gave me 42 km/litter milage on highways with average speed of 90-100km/hr. Its superb bike and pickup is best.

It is giving me an average mileage of 34kmpl. Which engine oil are you using.

@@blackbrute2504 gixxer 250 gives good mileage when riding between 90-100kmph.

I’m using my old gen dual disk Gixxer SF. Done about 30k kms around West Bengal and Maharashtra. And I must say, even after 5 longs years I’m happy with its performance. Edit: The OG gixxer’s seat is awful.

Mera bgi 150cc old gixxer sf hai...maine 5yr me 1lakh 65000km chalaya hai...almost all India ride kiya...aur engine is superd and unbeatable...till now less vibration from any other brand....love suzuki
Baki bike ka kuch acha nehi hai....plastic/switch/chassis quality very poor....
I am considering to buy 250 sf, but after watching a few youtube horror stories about it after sales service i am confused. Many are complaining about oil leak and spare parts availability. I don't want to waste 2L of my hard earned money. What do you suggest?
Now there is no service related and parts availability issue any more in Kolkata you may go for it.. It is best machine in this price point...
I am the owner of this bike, i love it.... Only one problem i am facing is the mirror nut losing after 2days every time... Can you guide me how to resolve this issue.
No such issue I have faced u may connect with any Suzuki service centre they will fix it…

brother R15V4 or sf 250 zada reliable engine or parts konsa bike ka hai brother....konsa zada din long lasting hoga...and zada fun to ride konsa bike hai
Both are Japanese engine but dono totally different category h...avi depend karta h uses ...if u want to tour then gixxer if u want sports and aggressive position then V4..

Would you recommend Gixxer 250 over Dominar 250 or Pulsar F250? Specially in terms of after sales service and customer care?
Dominar 250 is not successful and I don't have idea about F250..I would suggest take test ride of all bike then decide...
My bike mileage city ride 36 to 38 and highway 44 to 46 awesome bike under 250cc segment 😎

Hey mate, im a gixxer 250 owner too... first , check clutch cable. Or change it, or adjust it, as mine is pretty smooth.
Second, u do long rides, so spray some wd40 on gear shifter joints.. you will notice the difference.

It’s not that good but yes it is manageable even for long ride after doing some basic modifications and using ride on air seat

Bro i heard that there is vibration issue on gixxee 250 specially when rpm is around 6-7k..Is it right?
Vibration is there but not too much it’s manageable bcz it’s 250 cc engine so it’s powerful we can expect a little vibration- and I have ridden 250+ km in one go but still bike was not too hot even I have ridden this bike during Durga Puja in kolkata city but still it was not too hot

Yes gear is sometimes hard. But its ok
No major issue but gear shifting is a little bit hard
I too had hard gear shift issue with suzuki ecstar engine oil but after switching to Motul 300v gear shift become so smooth that i changed my whole experience. Not used motul 7100 but i think it will give better shifting than Suzuki Ecstar. Engine Oil is the issue not the bike.
