There you go.. I love it overall but then there's this unique reason I love it even more. You don't get to see another guy on red light with the same bike. I feel sorry for MT15. People fail to understand that chapris but all these expensive bikes from pre-owned market, MT15 Duke's and all KTM machines are the from a group that requires a lot of care and maintainance, people buy all these and then get agitated for the maintenance it demands , eventually selling it to these chapris.

@@AutonationInc nah. I sold MT because of high windblast and not enough power. I still have R15v2 2013 model. If i ride r15 i don't get tired but if i ride mt i get tired because of windblast. So i sold that and bought gixxer because this is the only sports bike with good pillion support. About to book rr310 but because of back seat i bought gixxer. But this bike is really cool btw.

I recently did a 217KM highway run and rest in the city. 140 KMPH max, avg 75 KMPH in the city.. which it goes pretty quick and smoothly and is still in control. I love it. Bro please excuse me if I'm wrong, Those bikes (Bajaj cruise 220) are not so reliable on long run and they miss out the value for money proposition. That is why Bajaj launched f250/n250. Even then we Indians are still clinging to those old unreliable, outdated engines. Take a look at new p150, no one are buying it since it's introduced... all want to buy the same old pulsar 150 dtsi. Our thinking should change with time, Bajaj done a huge r &d after tying up with ktm and launched new bikes...but we are not supporting them and we are asking them to give us the same old vehicles, instead of newly released f250/n250.

I just don't understand why this bike is so underrated. The R15M in Nepal costs almost 6 Lacs (NPR) while this motorcycle (BS6) costs 5 Lacs (NPR). At that point, its almost a no brainer, and yet people flock towards Yamaha YZF r15 instead. The SF 250 in Nepal costs less than the Dominar 250, the Duke 200, and the naked version of Gixxer 250 costs less than the N250, even. AND YET. They don't get the Suzuki motorcycles. The dealerships are well established, you see the older 155cc Gixxer with the halogen headlamps all over Nepal and yet, the new Gixxer 250 and SF 250 both are nowhere to be seen.

The tail light looks amazing but the rest of the bike is just meh. Also the clutch is pretty hard on gixxers they could add slipper clutch as option. Whoever is taking the design calls at Suzuki is ruining it for them.

Apart from engine, gixxer offers nothing as compared to other rivals. At under 3 lakh price point, they are not even providing slipper clutch, quickshifter which is hilariously disappointing. There is a reason bajaj bikes sales are increasing every year, they are easy and cheap to maintain, parts too are affordable plus they offer very good performance and ride quality under budget.

    pros -
-super smooth n creamy engine even at high speed,
    -super fast n torque,
    -comfortable rider seat,
    -good front brakes,
    -cheap maintained,
    -big macho bike feel,
    -gripey tires
    cons -
-ride connect inaccurate, looks unprofessional. not accurate like google map.
-front windshield too short for bike of this size.
    -rear seat too small
    -rear brakes need more bite.
-service center is common for Suzuki scooter n bikes..
-mirrors do get lose fast cos of that single bolt connection if u close them every time during parking time.
-chrome plated exhaust looks cheap, should have been black or grey.
    - plastic fin on the tail rod below rear light is unnecessary.

I think Suzuki has got left far behind already for 3-4 yrs now. Despite the competition, if Suzuki thinks these specs and features will attract buyers, good luck Suzuki. Biking enthusiasts in India these days expect versatility and all round features not just the engine or smooth clutch etc. this does not even have slipper clutch! This generation is looking for quickshifter so this one is for the museums 😅

In my humble opinion there are three things Suzuki must change in SF 250.
    1. They should design more sporty exhaust. This one looks like commuterish.
    2. More sporty and tall visor this one is so ugly.
    3. RVM are huge like elephant's ears they should go for more sleek unit
    And lastly the slipper clutch.

Guys, I tried Yamaha FZ, Yamaha MT15, Hero Xtreme 160 4V, Apache 160, Honda Hornet 2.0, Triumph speed 400, Apache 200 - Look - Dont go by specs, value for money and so on..Just ride the bike, feel it, enjoy it, is it comfortable, do you like the engine refinement, is the power good for you. I dont care for these LEDs, color schemes, bluetooth etc, Need ABS, disc brakes and lovely engine - Suzuki is a beast, totally in love it. Once i tried the Gixxer SF 250 - Comfort, power and looks are just spot on for me. Did not even read the spec sheet or VFM calculations. Below 200 cc bikes are commuter bikes, period. No sporty etc. Hero engine felt strained and the power ramped up to max engine capacity, FZ i ll honestly buy splendor, MT15 no torque i dont like such small engines strained though refined, Apache was great but cant stand the posture, its neither sporty not straight, Hornet too stiff, Triumph too heavy for city riding for me. Royal enfield - too heavy clutch and not enjoyable, highways it will be enjoyable i guess, but compared to the smile the Gixxer (both 155 and 250) put on me, nothing comes close. But 250 is for me, since i like the effortless power.
