Get a Flying Bear Reborn 2 and you have the best of both worlds. Still constructed open source, easy to work on and modify, and it is a speedy core XY with tons of potential.

just got one of the kp3s over the weekend for 50 bux an it was like a new machine but was missing the lead screw for the z axis but i had one already so wasn't an issue an it had been sitting for along time an the wheels on the z axis had flat spots so i swapped them out for some of the clear wheels an had to dig up a sd card an download the slicer profiles but after that it was perfect, tried a benchy on it an it was perfect. not 100% sure which version of the kp3s i have but i think its v2 cause it has a single linear rail for the y axis an one for the x axis but the z axis is still using the vslots but the hotend direct drive looks like its a v6 hotend paired with a titan extruder, i keep seeing alot showing a clear titan extruder but mine is black but i was surprised it did as well as it did on the benchy compared to the kingroon kp3 that i got nearly 5 yrs ago an that machine only has a single linear rail for the y axis, also i think the one he has in the video is the kp3s pro v2 an that has a bigger build volume by 20mm in all axis so 200x200x200 while the kp3s like mine only has the 180x180x180. im getting ready to pick one of the ones in the video up for 80 bux but mainly cause i found a corexy conversion u can do with them an im wanting to try to build something like that. i have a bunch of other printers an really dont need anymore and would love to find someone to buy a coupe of mine but no one local is interested an i dont know if i want to deal with the worry that comes with shipping something so im stuck with them til someone local decide they want to get into one cheap. but ive always liked kingroon but for some reason they have taken most of there stuff off of amazon so i never see anything from them anymore cause thats where i do 90% of my shopping.

I have just watched 3 of your videos and love the content ... but ... the combination of rather monotone monologue and especially the background musak (I cannot call it music, sorry) really strikes a nerve ... So, I would suggest: drop that music completely and try to vary your talking rhythm. Shut up sometimes, simply showing some B role for people to enjoy ... calmly ... The content and opinion sharing is superb, but the pace of the video really makes me nervous, increases my heart rate (not in the good way) and ... well just makes the video a lot less enjoyable to me than it could be ...

Thank you for these suggestions I really appreciate them. I will work on this in the future. I have had other people dislike the music, so I will try to have a nice blend. I will also work on broll by itself.

Few thoughts. I can't see clipper as a selling point for my needs, marlin has the input shaping and all now and is a more stable option. I looked into the newer gen machines to the point of installing bambu slicer to start making comparisons. The ease of use and maintenance as well as flexibility made we decide to stick to a more tradition type machine. Either small Ender 2 Pro or Kingroon little bed slinger or Ender 5 style line standard or larger format cube build. And should I want more corexy speeds any of the Ender 5 style can be upgraded with a mercury one type conversion giving me pretty much the new machine specs but with one again ease of maintenance and flexibility in parts and repair.

I think the machines that ship with and designed around klipper are very reliable, in fact in my experience more reliable than the marlin counter parts. Printers that are designed with marlin and converted to klipper definitely have the possibility of not being as reliable depending on how the install goes, but mine have been bullet proof. One thing I love about klipper is that everything can been seen directly through the screen on the printer and if not that, can DEFINITELY be checked via the web interface. I've had so many marlin printers that the factory firmware doesn't offer something very important or is very poorly implemented. Some examples are the manufacturer doesn't allow for z offset, easy mesh recall, generic profiles, heating profiles, etc... Of course marlin itself offers those features, but the manufacturer doesn't implement them into the firmware, and as a user I can't easily recompile marlin

There are 3 Kingroon Models basically- 180*180 KP3S,the 200*200 KP3S Pro and the Sliceworx version of this with rails on the Y axis called KP3 Pro S1. The KP3 Pro V2 is a Kingroon version up of the KP3 Pro. The S1 is still sold and shipped by Sliceworx (the one shown in your video). The way to identify the Sliceworx version is see if your heatbed has ferrules instead of tinned wire terminals or your accessory box contains yellow springs with a pickup handle that goes on top of the Z pillar.
