im really liking how raw stat equips pair extremely well with super ezas, while generally hipo abilities work better with new dokkanfests/ezas. gives a good place to use both kinds of equips and get a lot of value.
Exactly. The older units really need the numbers boost, whereas newer units cook with type advan boosts and SA boosts or recovery boosts. We r def on the same page

In the equation its attack-defence, followed by guard multiplier, which in type advantage is a 2x. If the initial super attack is already neutered by the defence to 0, multiplying that number by 2 is still double digits aint it?

Saying his whole kit is badly designed when he easily hits 1.5 Mil+ def a turn and over 10Mil atk stat consistently idk how you call that bad design.
If you were to say him needing to be hit is a bad design that’s fair but to say his kit is badly designed with the consistent results it gets is heinous

The calcs were not off. The average orbs given was around 7. In this showcase we saw turns with orbs above and below 7. People trying to say 23 orbs is colon when it’s like possible once per fight because of Broly trio. Also if you give it to GB, you can’t make sure the trio gets 7 orbs
@@mohams151😢the calc was with 6 when the average for an orb changer is 8 and goku black is a double orb changer. The calc was also without support when his 2 best partners is a broly chile and lemo a support and phyical goku black who gives a true 20 percent buff and without defneive equips and his category buffing support memory. Saying 6 orbs wasn't a low ball is comeptly asinine.

if he got damage reduction per ki sphere with a full super bosses rotation, he instantly becomes the best Super EZA, but they couldnt do that could they, hes still amazing, but he cant hold it down if you get bad orb rng

They sure love to add restrictions to extreme class characters
with 9 orbs Goku Black gains roughly 600% atk and def. With an entire field of ki, roughly 23-24 ki spheres, he gets a 1300% or 13x increase in his stats. With a double rosé rotation and a full field, he could have roughly 4 mil+ atk and 1.4+ mil def on his first turn.

His defense compared to what I expected from his initial breakdown seems pretty good. I still stand by these points though: Him needing to receive hits and having to collect a lot of orbs as a slot 2 or 3 unit is not great, so that will make him be a huge rng unit.
Really solid defense though even with just raw stats, we´ll see if it makes him age fast by the time Tanabata or WWDC´s content drops. Wishing for an extra defensive tool may have been too much in this case.

If they are going to continue to design on-hit build-up characters, they should *at least* give them high levels of damage reduction that go down per hit or per turn too. Kinda like SSJ3 Goku. At least then you could build them up reliably, whether or not raw stats are enough in the end anyway

I would like to see characters that need to be hit to build up get some kind of dodge once the stacks are finished. Or say like 15% at half stacks and 30% dodge at max. It's not the best to have to build to just take the hits or just build dodge and miss key build ups

Tbf, we haven’t had this type of SEZA before, so it’s not surprising that most of us thought he was gonna be shit. I mean his kit is special cause he basically nukes but we didn’t expect for that ability to be buffed so much. So when we think of atk and def, we almost always think of base stats or building up from getting hit or attacking. This SEZA builds up from getting hit and from orbs. And because he has a multiplicative buff, he becomes that much more impressive. I really thought he was gonna do like 1.2 mill at most from def but seeing this shows me why Dokkan has always been scared of buffing nuking abilities and orb changing abilities.

The numbers he's consistently hitting with 6+ orbs is pretty strong, I would still prefer if he had guard to pair with needing to get hit to get stronger, but overall very strong goku black

People wrote this guy off as terrible before he even was in game and most will deny they ever said that. At least this video shed some light on him. He’s very good and yea he’s also restricted to super bosses. And the argument was never he was busted or the best SEZA. Just that he’s not terrible like ppl said.

I'm starting to think we have a good chance for this phy Goku Black to get a buff when he comes to Global. I think the devs are gonna react to the response to this character. I don't know guard would be good i think but i can see the devs giving him a buff of 20% dmg reduction or mabye 30 with a restriction like Rosé.

For initial showcases like these why not put the unit breakdown at the start? It gives us some reference for what exactly the unit is going to be doing and stops us from having to pull up the wiki. If someone already knows what the unit does or prefers to have the wiki open anyways they could just skip ahead rather than the alternative of someone skipping ahead just to back track.

@@epicdillweed I'm fairly certain it multiplies the start of turn defense, not the amount after he collects orbs. He would be at a constant 3m+ defense atp.
@@reign1594its the same phase as the buffs he gets for getting hit, so it isnt a pure 150% buff, instead its only a 60% buff if you are fully built up

Fully built up def is 1x(1+1.5) = 2.5
Fully built up post super def is 1x(1+1.5+1.5) = 4
4/2.5=1.6 aka its a 60% buff on super
Still, he did indeed get to 5.5mill on that turn

Goku Blacks defense on attack is at approximately 8M+ btw with the entire field of orbs. GB is at his absolute best on SuperBosses and that is an objective fact. LR Broly trio is at their best next to a orb changer. Rose is at his best when next to a rainbow orb changer.
These units are all AT THERE BEST on Super Bosses and other teams that contain their best partners because that's all you need in order for them to function.
It aint 8mill, he's at 5.56mill
The buffs he gets from getting hit and the buff he gets on attacking is on the same phase aka they add up, not multiply
So you take his def/2.5 then you x4 that and there's his def post super
Or its faster to just x1.6
