Thank you for the song and the documentary to tell the story behind it! We became familiar with HLHS when our third child was born with it. Three surgeries later I wouldn't say his heart is fixed. But at age 11, he is having a wonderful life. He is being homeschooled, loves to play the trumpet, is part of a marching band, and loves to go fishing. Yes, his lips are blue and he doesn't like walking or hiking. But he has learnt to live with those limitations, they are part of his life. He got baptized a few years ago and knows the Lord. I can't imagine life without him!

Thanks so much for sharing this story and writing this song ,which means a lot to me. I used to have a really hard time when I was told my little baby son must do a heart surgery.actually I prayed every day since right after he was born 2 days I knew he had a heart problem.but I still have to face the fact that he needs the surgery. I still remember that day I felt so dark in my life,and my best friend who is a strong believer sent me this worship song to me .it just touched my heart so deep.what’s more this song was also put in my wedding video before everything happened. And today I watched this video and knew this amazing story behind the song.you don’t know how amazing I felt God is!!! He prepared this song for me for healing my heart for so long!!
Only finding this video testimony today. Found it while looking for a lyric video to share with a group of believers who struggle with a condition that makes upright life very hard and painful. Very encouraged by this story of God and the rewards of being faithful.

My situation is a little different. Our 23 year old daughter went to Heaven in October. One might think that since she then our hope is over...but no. Our hope is eternal, and yes I still have a reason to sing, because my daughter is with the Savior and I will see her again. That is a reason for Hope and Joy. Thank you for this song- I will be singing it in two weeks at church.

this song has really touch my heart my youngest son gabriel was born with a heart defect too and this has helped me through everything that has happen this year with him
Amazing amazing story of how God can use people even a small child according to His will:) Kinda relatable to myself too when doctors encouraged my parents to abort me due to many health problems or abnormalities that I would face if I was born but Praise God as He answered prayers and here I am today healthy with not even an allergy or health problem. And I believe God can do the same with this beautiful child and heal him; using Him for even greater things in the future to come!:)
I can totally relate to this video. The Lord blessed us with Sarah Faith on Aug 2nd 2006, she was diagnosed with Trisomy 18, a fatal genetic disorder, a lot of the medical professional wanted her aborted, they said she would die immediately, well the Lord blessed us with her presence for a little over 3 mths., then she went home to be with Jesus The Lord was glorified in it all!! When you're obedient to Him He will give you peace in the storm!! 2 years later he blessed us with Hannah Grace :)
God is good. I always feel, better to have lived and loved than never to have had the opportunity for that love. May your memories be special and your lives be blessed. ❤

That is an amazing testimony for both the father and the son. I couldn't help but tear up from that story. God works in such ways that we could never understand. He tests our faith and continues to reveal truth in his promises. God has worked in mine and so many people's lives through this boy and it will not stop there. What's so amazing is that this is such a great example of God's grace.
This testimony really touched my heart..... I prayed God will never let me forget them and their family so I can continue praying for your son as well...I hope all is well with your son and he lives as long as God gives him the time to live..... thank you so much for sharing

Please Kelsey, look into water fasting. It saved my life... if you do make sure you supplement with sodium and potassium if going on an extended fast. If your interested I can give you more information but I just wanted you to know that you CAN heal yourself. I had all sorts of auto-immune disorders and symptoms. It's been quite the experience.
