My Trail 70 goes riding in the desert too, up Wickenburg way. I put Shinko 241 trials type tires on it and they help, but sand is not my friend either. (Of course, it never has been...) Like you, I like finding new trails to explore - a great way to get out and enjoy the day!
I’m no longer a big fan of the sand! The past two and a half years I have learned how to get my 300 Rally through it, with Dsports, the Dsports were a must. The stock tires weren’t so great. But nowadays I try to avoid any sand at all cost... The last time sand was appealing to me was when I was in my 20s and I had my 250R’s. Now that was a blast.

I totally agree, I loved my 250Rs in the sand
Can you tell me what paint you had used for your exhaust? I don't want it to turn out too glossy but just dense as your black color.
Sure. It is Bar-B-Que Black, Rust-Oleum Specialty Satin High Heat Spray Paint from Walmart
