I have a 2011 250 sx with an unknown amount of hours on it and it runs like a damn dream. I have no clue what the previous owners did to it or how they rode it. Wonderful bike

Picked one up 2 weeks ago. I replaced my YZ250. I loved my YZ. This is the best all around 2 stroke I have ever ridden. Stable, safe, fast and peppy. I ride at the the track and woods with stock suspension. Works great!
I remember when I switched from my YZ250. I kicked the bike and first thing I thought was holy crap… where’s the vibration lol

I agree 👍. I love Yamaha as well but my hard earned $ is goin to KTM. They are so far ahead all others.

@@Tread505 It was a great bike with great power. No issues. Sold it and went over to 4 stroke. Riding kawi now. Way better suspension. Even better than yamaha.

FYI - you can buy button bleeders for the forks so you don't need to screw them out and bleed. Nice vid, great riding and I'm a big fan of yours!

I have the 2021 Husqvarna TC 250, bought it new last year. Absolutly love the bike! Engine is very strong and reliable and especially the handling is great.

Great review Josh, I've been waiting for a test on the new model. It looks so sweet. I have an 18 model with the last orange frame and have been holding off on a new one until the orange frame came back. Unfortunately, I called my dealer about getting a new one, he said they are all sold out already everywhere! May have to turn mine into a 300.

210 lbs. Dang, didn’t realize they were that close to my ‘05 yz125.
I wish they would make the 380cc 2 stroke models again, for cross country specifically. I'd love to have a modern 380 2 stroke monster.
Someday I'm gonna get my hands on a 98-2002 380.

Re: the forks, I can’t believe people complain about having to bleed and check pressure. Like, we should all be doing that before every session or moto for tires and chain tension and oil forks anyway lol. 🤷♂️ two kinds of people, those who put tlc into their bikes and people who don’t

Dude I absolutely love the 21+ air fork, you have to fin bleed any fork. Buy the works connection bleeders and be done. I check my air pressure once in the morning.

Tryin to get a '23 KTM 250SXF right now! Tho the 2-stroke is def sweet 👍. These bikes are selling fast an not hard to figure out why. KTM will def be my next ride.. if i can find one!
I was in the shop there at KRW. I couldn’t believe how little the bike was. I literally walked up to it after looking at the 300’s and said ”what is this bike?" It is very much smaller than older 250s. I thought to myself "wow this thing would be so flickable" I want one.
It's amazing. Bikes were getting too big all around. Love my Yamahas but KTM is way to go ..either 2-stroke or 4-stroke! #Maxima

I would argue that my 2022 TC250 feels Way torquier off the bottom than my old 2016 yz250. The only place where the yz felt "better" was over-rev/staying on the pipe. That makes you "feel" faster but the lap times did not confirm that feeling.

Does the bike come stock with dampeners for the bar clamps, or are they bolted straight to the triple?
It's good to see 2 strokes still going strong. It's a lot cheaper and easier to rebuild the top end yourself.

On my KTM 2022 250sx I still put grease around the air filter. I ride sand tracks in Michigan.
Get the Yamaha out 125 and 250. I'm a Kawasaki 2stroke guy since 84 and riding my 2006 KX250 which is bullet proof and damn fast. Yamaha has my full attention now!

@@derailleurmind0454 👌, its going to be interesting now that Yamaha are committed to their 2strokes and possibly wanting a bigger share of the 2stroke motocross market. If their's high demand for the new YZ's the other's will be watching closely. I've ridden the KTM 250 and the Husky 250 the power is fantastic but the bikes are way to fat across the tank and radiators. It hurts me to say blue is looking better and better.

It would be no contest. The 250T (2 strokes) are much faster than the 250F (4 strokes). I own one of each. The real race is between the 250T and the 450F. That's where the real battle is. In fact, back in the day, 250T did race in the 450F class when 4 strokes first came on the market.
What would be cool to see is the 250 2 strokes and the 450 4 strokes go at it and the 125 2 strokes and the 250 4 strokes go at it.
@@steelshotproductions in the amatuer ranks 250t and 250f can race each other and it's actually very even with most championships being won by 250f riders. As to 250t vs 450f it's not even a comparable anymore 450's are just way too powerful, tractable and light these days

I’m gonna buy the Gas Gas MC250 2 stroke and spend the money saved on a set of warp 9 wheels and some Red Xtrig triple clamps and a FMF works pipe.

Nice review. Im definitely a fan of the fmf gnarly pipe and end up on the stock muffler. Also the kreft moto power dial helps tune the power valve quickly.

Not sure why so many are talking about the all new bold graphics YZ so much,,as a true 2T lover it pales in comparison to the brisling quality, tech, and huge power power found on this bike..

Candian motocross racers definitely should be racing a 250 2 Stroke in the 250 class! And it is perfectly legal.
I think they should weed out the orange color. Don’t get ride of the orange because it defines KTM but just add it as a border to plates and many other pieces. The other color would be some silver in there as well to match all the aluminum on the bike. Last is I would start using custome seats with multi color to blend with the sides

I have the TC250 '22, its exactly the same but husky has some lowered swing arm... I keep bottom it out at the rear :( Im 140lb, SAG at 103 (yes, should add at least 2mm but gonna try 107mm) should this help? compression is on the hard side, rebound a little fast

Veryt good, fair evaluation that doesnt position a 2 Stroke as a woods bike - these bikes are pure race motocross and will eat up a 250 4 stroke and compete with a 450 4 stroke.

I would say unless you are a solid B rider you shouldn't get a 250 two stroke. maybe the new ones with injection and electronic power valve will be more linear and user friendly but the 2016 to 2022 were pretty potent and definitely could get away from you.

Came for a KTM review, left with the dude talking about the YZ for 1/4 the video. Literally everyone should know Yamahas "update" is gonna be the bare minimum they can get away with and that they'll actually do an engine upgrade for once so instead of being 20 years behind they'll be 10 years behind.

@@williampollock1274 Different material is the answer here, KTM uses a chromoly steel frame while the Japanese brands use aluminum. Steel is heavier, stronger and more flexible, while aluminum is lighter, not as strong, and not able to flex as much.

I'm disappointed to see the political undertones at the beginning of the video on the guy's helmet. Some of us just want to ride without wading into the woke side of things.
Mine blew up at 15 hours due to improperly installed mag bearing. Caused bottom end and top end failure had to rebuild everything thx ktm
