I did the same, I like having the slightly brighter more heroic Wanda as well as her darker villainous version from the movie. I really love her in the cape, would have liked to have seen a version of it in the movie at some point.
I love how Wanda as The Scarlet Witch got MCU'ed (translated into live-action from comics). Her costume is gorgeous, and her tiara looks more believeable, as opposed to her classic comic costume. It IS interesting how they paid homage to her comic costume.

I personally feels this costume is way better than the Dr Strange one, it was very good design, but somehow marvel only use it for 10 minutes of the entire show.
I love both but imo the multiverse version looks way more like elisabeth olsen, and i love the evil look more. However, i love the cape on this one (except for the shoulder things)
The Hot Toys Wandavision Scarlet Witch has finally come out after so many delays. It was definitely worth the wait, aside from a few issues. Not to take anything away from the prior Scarlet Witch figures when it comes to Elizabeth Olsen's likeness. All of them look great in my opinion. However, the Wandavision version is the best. The portrait is very pretty. I love the luminous reflective effect. The headdress looks good. The hair has been sculpted really well. I love the outfit and the cape, which I think looks better than Vision's cape. The material is of a higher quality and it drapes more naturally. Articulation is pretty good, aside from the head, which doesn't move much because of the sculpted hair. The figure comes included with only a few accessories, but that's perfectly fine. I like the display stand. The box art looks great as well. The overall sculpt, paint and details are top notch. However, the shoulder seams are rather jarring, but at least they can be covered up by the cape. The light-up hands are much appreciated. Though, the light-up effect itself could've been done better. It would've been nice if the figure came included with a diorama backdrop display like the one that came with Vision. I'm really glad that the figure is finally here after such a long time. Is this the definitive Scarlet Witch 1/6th scale figure? I think so. Sure, there are a few issues along the way, but they don't detract from the overall quality of the piece. Thanks, Justin! I love this figure and can’t wait for her to arrive! The shoulders honestly don’t bother me that much, maybe because I mostly collect 6 inch action figures and am used to visible seamlines and ball joints. That being said, I will display her with the cape because it really adds something to her design. And I might get the MoM version as well. While the Multiverse of Madness Wanda does look visually better, with a nicer costume and doesn’t have the visible seamlines, the WandaVision version is to me the better representation of the tragic character that Wanda is. You can just see the pain in her face. Having both would make for a beautiful contrast between her personalities.

Honestly, this really helped clear things up for me as to which figure I should purchase, and I have to be honest, the shoulders weren't as big of a letdown as I had believed. This figure, in my opinion, can resemble a heroic, and villainous Wanda, depending on how you look at it, whereas the Doctor Strange 2 figure is incapable of doing so. I was one of those people who preordered the Scarlet Witch figure exactly when the news from Hot Toys got released after Wandavision series. The figure was worth all the wait, I’m in love with the figure and she’s been on display at the entrance of my home for a year now, she looks like Elizabeth Olsen and love the sorrowful expression on her face; after all she ascended into the Scarlet Witch when she accepted her grief of not having Vision with her. I’m still unsure about purchasing the MoM version but dying to have them side by side showing the ascent of the Scarlet Witch and the fall/corruption of the Scarlet Witch. TBH I’m still dreaming of having the return of Scarlet Witch in the MCU and having another costume and figure and I can proudly display them as 3 kinda like mother maiden crone, just a witchy reference 😉 thanks Justin for the detailed reviews, you really help us out in deciding to purchase figures
Not a bad idea having both so you can showcase the evolution of Wanda, honestly I love doing that with my figures. Some folks collect only one version of each character but for the ones I love I go all in haha

A studio should hire you because of your knowledge and you have the pulse of what collectors like and expect. However we wouldn’t want to lose your videos. They are more than just entertainment. Money is an obstacle and come thing to manage when there are so many figures out there. So your reviews are very helpful. Like some others I don’t mind the arm and shoulder issue. Relative to the whole figure. It’s just so good, I can live with it. Plus you have the shoulder and cape piece that hides it if you want to. The hair and head sculpt is so amazing. They really nailed it. Wow! The costume and body are done wonderfully with great details. Even though there is another figure on the way. It would be hard to pass on this one. It’s stunning.

I wish they would make different figures from each era in the show. Maybe one black & white for the first two episodes and one that can be made into 70s/80s/00s costumes with different heads/hair. The multiple TV styles made the show unique. We need the classic costume!

I had this one pre-ordered since Mar. 2021 but, canceled for multiverse Wanda. I can only get one and that one looked better and had better accessories. I had wished they'd updated the sideshow page but, never did and I waited over 2 years before switching switching. They were "scheduled" so close together I couldn't afford both.
I think a big selling point for the MoM version for me is the fact that you can switch out the hair style. I really hope hot toys do that with all long hair figures. So you're not stuck with one pose when the hair gets in the way of articulation
MOM Wanda has no cape or LED, but her headsculpt looks 11/10 Meanwhile Wandavision Wanda has a 10/10 headsculpt, and the LED’s are really nice + cape! Though choice, but glad they finally pulled a 10/10 on woman HS ( Gal or Scarlet were not a 10 ).. Nice review as always!

I just got this figure and I usually prefer rotted hair in the females with long hair, but I gotta say that this sculpted hair looks amazing, I really like the figure, I decided to pose it with the caoe on to cover the joints, besides it looks great after posing the cape… maybe later I will change the look without the cape… I also PO the Multiverse of madness version
I didn’t think I would but I ended up having to get both. I have Wanda and regular Vision and then Scarlet Witch and Doctor Strange at either ends of my display. I didn’t get White Vision because we weren’t given Agatha from the show, they gave us Visions opposite from the final battle scene so we should definitely have gotten Agatha to pair with Wanda. I think if I came across a relatively cheap second hand White Vision I might invest and pose each Vision floating behind and to either side of Wanda. I wonder if any 3rd parties might give us Agatha at some point.
I'm waiting oh so impatiently for my Wanda to appear. Here's hoping her arms as easily broken as Ahsoka's. That hair, I not quite as sold on the molded hair sticking out weird when moving her molded hair. But she looks gorgeous.
I really wish they would have used the silicon shoulders similar to the Rosario Ahsoka. It’s such a nice figure but those seems stuck out like a sore thumb.
She looks great except for that hair. They really need to start doing rooted again. Or do separate sculpted and rooted hair versions like inart did with joker
I don’t collect a lot of Marvel but am tempted to pick up a Scarlet Witch. I think I slightly prefer the version from Multiverse of Madness but this one isn’t bad.
I chose to preorder this version over the MoM version because this one looks closer to her comic book look and I like the cape. The shoulders don't bother me because it'll be displayed with her cape. I do think the neck looks too smooth and wish it was more sculpted.

I’ve preordered both this version and the MoM one. I don’t mind the shoulder joints on this figure and I also don’t mind the evil motifs for her other version. The accessories look like they’ll be fun to display for the evil version.
Good review I like the led hand though i thought they were cool and the uv light not meant to be turned on with a flash light you can get uv lights which will be like regular light only purple and make it glow. Or you could buy a little uv light setup but either way that is why they put them i have a infinity war thor and he looks great with the light.
I will say justin I prefer this one over the other because this is the hero Scarlett Witch and MoM is the villain version of her. I prefer the cape then not having it with her honestly. I do agree the shoulders are just fugly though. I think its great that you have two very distinct Wanda's too chose from; same reason I like we have two Keaton Batman's to choose from, if you want a more modern with headsculpt Michael Keaton Batman you can get the Flash Modern Suit, if you want the more classic suit there is Batman 89, hot toys dosen't do it often, but they us some CHOICE in real time for characters.
Normally Hong Kong releases are months ahead of Sideshow but I just got my tracking processing invoice today. Those shoulders are definitely bothering me I don’t really articulate Hot Toys so I’ll keep the cape on her not sure if I’ll get the newer version because I normally just intend to get one version of each character. We’ll see.
Ugh I can't get past those shoulder joints, I'll wait for the multiverse version...hopefully it will be better. The head sculpt is nice though! At the end of the day it's still the best Scarlet Witch figure thus far.
I’m super hyped for mine! I’m a bit disappointed about the shoulder joints, only because HotToys has literally used seamless on the shoulders of other figures. I’ve had my Ahsoka & Grogu figure since it released, and so far, the seamless shoulders are holding up perfectly! When her cape is off, Ahsoka looks so real and amazing! If Wanda had seamless, it would be just perfect. Nonetheless, the figure looks great aside from that.
Hello, Justin. Any idea how hard would it be to swap the vanilla body for a seamless one? I prefer the capeless look, but the shoulder joints are waay too distracting.

I'm waiting oh so impatiently for my Wanda to appear. Here's hoping her arms as easily broken as Ahsoka's. That hair, I not quite as sold on the molded hair sticking out weird when moving her molded hair. But she looks gorgeous.

I really wish they would have used the silicon shoulders similar to the Rosario Ahsoka. It’s such a nice figure but those seems stuck out like a sore thumb.

Can her skirt actually spread wider and the wires hold it? Like when the strong wind hits her, it rises really high and doesn't go down kinda pose?

I don’t collect a lot of Marvel but am tempted to pick up a Scarlet Witch. I think I slightly prefer the version from Multiverse of Madness but this one isn’t bad.

I chose to preorder this version over the MoM version because this one looks closer to her comic book look and I like the cape. The shoulders don't bother me because it'll be displayed with her cape. I do think the neck looks too smooth and wish it was more sculpted.

I’ve preordered both this version and the MoM one. I don’t mind the shoulder joints on this figure and I also don’t mind the evil motifs for her other version. The accessories look like they’ll be fun to display for the evil version.

Good review I like the led hand though i thought they were cool and the uv light not meant to be turned on with a flash light you can get uv lights which will be like regular light only purple and make it glow. Or you could buy a little uv light setup but either way that is why they put them i have a infinity war thor and he looks great with the light.
You could do that but then everything would be tinted blue, not a great look

I will say justin I prefer this one over the other because this is the hero Scarlett Witch and MoM is the villain version of her. I prefer the cape then not having it with her honestly. I do agree the shoulders are just fugly though. I think its great that you have two very distinct Wanda's too chose from; same reason I like we have two Keaton Batman's to choose from, if you want a more modern with headsculpt Michael Keaton Batman you can get the Flash Modern Suit, if you want the more classic suit there is Batman 89, hot toys dosen't do it often, but they us some CHOICE in real time for characters.

How the hand lighting is activated? At the most figures it's really annoying turning the light effects on, 😢
A switch under the glove
Normally Hong Kong releases are months ahead of Sideshow but I just got my tracking processing invoice today. Those shoulders are definitely bothering me I don’t really articulate Hot Toys so I’ll keep the cape on her not sure if I’ll get the newer version because I normally just intend to get one version of each character. We’ll see.

Ugh I can't get past those shoulder joints, I'll wait for the multiverse version...hopefully it will be better. The head sculpt is nice though! At the end of the day it's still the best Scarlet Witch figure thus far.

I’m super hyped for mine! I’m a bit disappointed about the shoulder joints, only because HotToys has literally used seamless on the shoulders of other figures. I’ve had my Ahsoka & Grogu figure since it released, and so far, the seamless shoulders are holding up perfectly! When her cape is off, Ahsoka looks so real and amazing! If Wanda had seamless, it would be just perfect. Nonetheless, the figure looks great aside from that.

Hello, Justin. Any idea how hard would it be to swap the vanilla body for a seamless one? I prefer the capeless look, but the shoulder joints are waay too distracting.
Not impossible honestly just some sewing would be required
