Spanning through six countries and 1,600 miles, the Zambezi River Valley is an ecological haven for some of Africa's most beautiful and powerful creatures. For the first time, welcome to Tennessee's Memphis Zoo. This series of tours kicks off with a walk through of the Zoo's very own interpretation of one of the world's most diverse rivers. The Zambezi River Hippo Camp - opened in 2016, $22 million, three acres, their very own river of life. Get up close and personal on the beach with flamingos, play hide and seek with an okapi, marvel at the size of crocodiles, and learn to respect the hippopotamus. A grand tour for what a zoo official calls the most ambitious exhibit they've ever built. Enjoy this heart stomping, and visually stunning epic at the Hippo Capital of the World.

I come from Europe so have never been to Memphis,though I recently went to ZooParc de Beauval in France and their hippo exhibit is jaw-dropping!
It is 3 levels,set in a massive African aviary,replicates a balanced African ecosystem and even has 23 other species.
