I wish I could have an Otter, they're ADORABLE!!! They remind me of my pet Ferret I had a few yrs back, Adorable,funny,& mischievous 🙂!!! One of my nieces owned her but became allergic to her after a while,& she knew I was an animal lover so she gave her to me!!! I had her for about 6 yrs unfortunately she passed away;that was a sad moment for me;but I enjoyed those 6 yrs with her!!! She was always greeting me at the front door when I came in from work,& would immediately begin dooking (something Ferrets so when they're playing) & chase me through the apartment 🙂!!! Whenever I was away from the apartment,she would climb up on my bed,& sleep in my pillow case, which I thought was very cute 🙂!!! I used to walk her outside with a leash 🙂!!! Ferrets are labeled as the Comedians & thieves of the animal world 🙂!!! Whatever she could fit in her mouth,she would take it & hide it somewhere!!! I remember looking for some items in my apartment,& one day I caught her stealing an ink pen, taking it under my bed,so I took it from her & looked under the bed,to my surprise there were those missing things I was looking for....Balled up socks,keys,mint candy, pencils & ink pens,she had taken them in her little stash spot,all in one corner under the bed!!! Yes,I had a lot of fun with her!!! When she passed away,I buried her in the backyard of my apartment!!!

Maybe it isn't so much what Kotaro sees, but more of what he smells? I notice he smells his paws so often...maybe otters have sense of smell like dogs, and with his bushy whiskers, Kotaro must have a wider olfactory network than Hana. Love the prof!

Kotaro regularly leaves the house for walks as exercise. Hana does not like walks which is why she has her cat wheel.
