I'm addicted to this game, i played it for maybe an hour or 2 back when 1.0 came out and thought it was only alright, then i randomly picked it up again, and got a super cool weapon on a run in the game and everything changed from there. Finally able to master beating the bosses, mastering my weapons, mastering my perks, all the loot and different attack types and how it kind of blends elements together. The controls were hard at 1st, but after getting a few runs in it feels like some of the best controls ever and moving from map to map quickly and seeing where all your health and ammo you left behind in every room is so helpful. This game is extremely addicting, the sound effects, the colors and the boss fights and the huge variety of weapons and combinations makes it a blast
The art in this game looks so cute. I'm not big into twin stick shooters, but the aesthetics of this are more appealing to me than gungeon, so maybe I'll add this to my wishlist. Thanks for the video.
I agree, especially on higher difficulties. Sometimes all you do is frantic jumping if your setup is bad. The game is all about risk and reward tho so the more you risk the better your off and you become accustomed to it very fast.
thanks for covering this game, I was really curious to hear your opinion!! It looked really busy and hard to read for me at first but you get used to it after playing for while, love the art style and the polish!
I got Voidigo a while back played it a few times and kind of forgot about it (as my library grows, I am finding that happening more and more lately!). Thanks for the reminder - it is a great game! Although I can't get it to launch now on my steam deck any,ore for some reason so gotta figure that out, but I will - great video!
@@Burr_ I got it to work again, oddly enough it was the same problem I recently figured out with regards to Vampire Survivors on my deck. In case anyone else runs into this...I have the deck with the smallest size internal SSD therefore I use Cryoutilities to move all of my installed gaming data to the external SD card (1 gb card). This works fine for most games but for some it causes the syncing to break and even the launching of the game itself to break. I deleted and reinstalled both games and excluded those when I ran the cryoutilities move game data option and everything is peachy. Played some Voidigo last night for about an hour, I forgot how crazy that game is. One other thing I figured out, I have my color saturation set up pretty high - beta version of deck display controls - because I like the bright colors. But for that game, it almost washes out some of the action on the screen. Awesome game though, thanks again for all you do!

Thanks for watching and supporting! I will say the game is harder than Gungeon, but still a great time!
There is so much visual noise often times, you just don’t know what is what on the screen leading you to take damage.

THE LAST BOSS IS SO COOL MEN
It truly is amazing game, can’t wait for more updates
Nice quick review! Idk if you mentioned it or I missed it, but how long are runs in this game?? 👀
My winning run was about an hour or so
Reminds me more of nuclear throne than gungeon tbh
Yea I havent been able to play Nuclear Throne so I couldnt compare, but seeing Nuclear Throne I can believe it
man, you don't know how it was useful! thanks
Thanks for watching! If you pick it up I hope you enjoy it!
Quick reviews are nice
Thanks for watching!
I think nuclear throne is a better comparison than gungeon
Wow what a game
its a game
Nuclear. Throne.
I have never played
@@Burr_ can't recommend it enough; it's the origin point of all roguelites like this
Hyper light breaker: HEHE MUAHAHAHAHA
i need to try that one still
@@Burr_ when it releases that is
i appreciate a lil quick video
thank you for watching *hyuck*
i hope they port this to switch
I bet they will!
Gameplay looks pretty good! Unfortunately the visual style is probably not for me. Thanks for the quick review!
Thats fair. The graphics are quite a lot
For me yes
❤
Please try Relic Hunters Legends, it’s not a rogue like but its gameplay definitely is as tight as enter the gungeon
