It's true about the Army, I went in 2002 and went to Ft. Jackson and I was launched back in time to 60', 70's and I wasn't even born during that time. The Army is a melting pot so in basic you get people from all over and there was this guy who had never seen a black person in real life. There was many who still sounded like they were in segregation man. I'm from California and I was blown away that folks were still thinking and seeing the world through skin color. True story.

It's true about the Army, I went in 2002 and went to Ft. Jackson and I was launched back in time to 60', 70's and I wasn't even born during that time. The Army is a melting pot so in basic you get people from all over and there was this guy who had never seen a black person in real life.
