The easiest method is cut the coconut in to small pieces,put it in a mixie bowl and dry grind
No risk at all and very fast.the attach ment you showed can severely cut your hand.

For chopping to make small pieces we can use a food processor I have both preethi and Morphy Richard cabbage you can chop into small pieces but big pieces for sambar I chop with a knife on a chopping board

My wooden table top scraper is better,I can have the clear white upper part for chutney, which gives a good colour and taste .the black part can be used for the sambar
But you are able to do what about ppl who cannot bcoz of age / injury eyc
Mixi runs speed even in 1 point.cocoanut. scapper is good in ultra grinder, it runs little slow,there is not much risk in getting your hand hurt.

I am not sure about the 218 model it fits in my preeti zodiac see the bottom of the jar if it is 4 then it should fit I have explained this in the video

For people who have problems in holding the coconut preethi has launched one grating machine it is not an attachment its a mixie which has grating and cutrus juicer but the cost is 4000 with 2 years warranty I saw the demo He didnt show grating the whole coconut so I am not sure if it is worth
