I'm about to take life on the road next month visiting 48 states with my shih tzu! I'm excited and nervous but definitely a goal of mine.

What do u mean by "Dog friendly?" Are u talking about wildlife and insect? Were there any in the desert and the waters?
Dog-friendly means any pet dog is allowed in the park. Many national parks do not allow dogs anywhere besides paved roads and campgrounds.
