Marc, I’m sure you realize: these videos are extremely important historical documents. Nobody else is concerned with the actual makers, devoid of all the marketing bluster. Thank you so much
Very nice watches. Listening to Mr Anderson talking was a treasure. He really lives the part. Watch makers who have many years of watch making behind them emit an aura which has a special character of its own and also makes it easy to live the experience with them
Excellent report. Its great to see that such talented watchmakers are still passing on their skills at the ripe old age of 80! Its so important that this mans expertise is not lost and is passed on; in particular the painstaking and skilled hand adjustment and finishing of the gear. Exceptional.
You are absolutely right and it’s indeed great to witness that there is this passing of knowledge to passionate young watchmakers. Thanks for the comment
Fantastic video and it’s high time we started producing watches like these in the UK. Once again Marc, thank you for an introduction to this beautiful horological art.
There’s nothing average about this master craftsman watchmaker. Or his watches And I love it, he has the Watch in the bottle, or it’s a clock in the bottle on his desk.
Mr. Anderson I can only bow in appreciation and respect for this gray hair and These wonderful fingers who spent fifty years in this honorable profession Work is honest worship thanks 🌹🌼🌻🌷💜💛💙💖
Merci !! What have been reported and therefore we cannot see photos ? There are no videos about the Andersen 1884 on the web ! I wanted to see this watch.
@@watchestv-com Perhaps you could be persuaded to do an episode on them. They're exquisite. Or perhaps do episodes on exotic dial treatments. I know you tend to focus on brands, but perhaps it could be worthwhile?
Marc Andre, isn't it time to do a remake of your personal watchcollection video? Keep up the amazing great work with one of the very few TRUE horologist UA-cam channels!
Sir I have 2 watch for testoration Rolex and cartier the problem is berembun in the glass and dont have tali jam can help restoration this watch sir thanks and I am aprisition for atention my latter
Hello, your videos are phenomenal! Very informative, interesting and well executed. Thank you for presenting us with such quality. Two questions: 1) If you could own only ONE watch, which will it be? 2) Same as above question, but no more than USD$25,000.00? Thanks, Luis
I think because of the memorable video with Peter S-M about watchmaking tools I've enjoyed the part with old rounding machine the most. You should definitely consider making an ASMR-like video of a watch workshop with just sounds and sights of oldschool watchmaking. No music, no speaking. It will get viral, I can tell you that 😉 P.S. As for the automaton video being restricted: F U, youtube!
Very funny, because I was thinking of doing one of those very soon actually, we have so much footage!!! Thanks for the comment, very appreciated, the very best to you.

Me and my team are really highly appreciative for this fantastic comment, thanks so much and keeps us going 👍👍

Thanks a lot for this very inspiring comment and you're totally right, one feels the wisdom and experience!!

Very happy you liked it, was a real pleasure to make
What an interview! Amazing
Very happy you enjoyed this video, thanks so much and best to you!
Great show as always!
Many thanks 🙏
Fantastic reporting! Seeing the work on the gear to make it smaller and fix the teeth was quite eye opening
Very happy to read this, thanks so much!
Yes a world timer! Awesome design
Pure, simple, extremely efficient and sober
@@watchestv-com sadly it is a unique piece but definitely give people an opportunity to get reach for a high end world timer except Vc pp or Lange.
Absolutely stunning!

A world time with my home country Barbados 💪

He meant 1984 ;) and you can see all the various historical models of these world timer in this video. The very best to you
Stunning
It really is you will see!!!
Benjamin has great taste. That's a beautiful world timer, with super dimensions etc
Totally agree with you, proportions are perfect, super nice piece!
This segment title should be 13,23 Minutes about passion and creativity in watch making.
Nicely said, thanks!!
Thanks 🙏
Most welcome
Andersen Geneve has the most beautiful blue gold dials.
They master at this 👍👍

Did you notice the name and address on the box he had the components for the automaton? Hagmann! The strap maker?
Just me or does the enamel seem to have a lot of trapped air bubbles? How does the enamelling compare with that of something like a PP 5231?
Marc Andre, isn't it time to do a remake of your personal watchcollection video? Keep up the amazing great work with one of the very few TRUE horologist UA-cam channels!
I have checked his erotic automaton in person. Pretty another level than other brands. I have high respect to this master and his team.
Haha, so you definitely see what I mean ;) Indeed, an other level!!
For a Singaporean collector, I'd have expected to see Singapore instead of Shanghai listed on the dial.
Good point, but you can have this changed if you want ;) the very best to you
Incroyable vraiment

It's too bad you can't show it. The one I saw, and I think it was antique, had pretty fast and explicit action.
They indeed are very explicit ;) thanks for the comment and best to you
A total Grail.
Censorship sucks. Viva watchmaking!
That’s right 👍👍
