@@NickOloteo not at all. Do this.track a portfolio that's 25% Vti 25% VOO 25% apple 25% Microsoft and compare it to holding just 100% Vti or VOO and my portfolio will outperform it going as far back as you'd like. I hold 50% of my portfolio in the above allocation (M1 pie) and the other 50% is schd

So the dividend index has more growth than the growth s&p500?
For the past 12 years or so it did. Right now SCHD is down while the SNP500 is up this year.
Hard to tell what’s going to happen in the future
Throw VTI in!
I’ll have to do that in the next one.
That’s funny, because the 50/50 is my go to for the exact same reasoning you gave.
Can't go wrong with a little of both!
That’s right. It looks like a great strategy
What about schd and qqq 50/50
I’m sure that would run up a lot during a bull market and crash hard during a bear.
I think qqq is too tech heavy. The snp500 offers more diversity
How does VT compare?
I’m not sure so I’d have to check it out
I just made a video showing how VT compares
My retire at 50 portfolio right now is 50/50 schd and dgro
Those are both great funds I just think they have too much overlap.
@@NickOloteo I think the main benefit of dgro is the Apple and Microsoft that's included
Both = best
That’s what it looks like.
I invest in all including vti
You don’t think that’s too much overlap with VOO and VTI, and Schd and VTI?

@@ryanbaileyboxing with 1mil invested yours ended at 5.33mil with VOO at 3.77mil.
I know most of the returns came from Microsoft and apple.
@@NickOloteo and don't forget 1 mil in Bitcoin from 2009 onward beats every index and strategy and investment 100x ;)
@@ryanbaileyboxing Yeah but who would be crazy enough to invest 1 mil in bitcoin when it first came out?
