I came up with this whole thing about how they were given all the items they ever had via a third party, but eventually things started to break and when they finally had to give up and learn for themselves, they were helpless, and the power they wanted was to be an admin, which really, REALLY fits Spamton's character as it is power that can be taken away at any time by a higher-up
