Remember what Simmons said when Daisy first got powers??? She referred to a formula that categorizes power levels and when she tested Daisy she said that she had Hulk level destructive capabilities.
Or Sif said she could tear continents apart.
@@Thehardtruth69 Yeah, exactly. There's a reason she used to get cracks in her own bones, right?? Girl is Powerful!!
This is proven to be extra true in later seasons
I really don't remember about this formula... s2e11 right? I think it was fitz who said "you could have avengers level powers now"
@@Helkost The formula wasn't really a BIG factor but there was something mentioned about how to rate or scale powers. It might actually have been Fitz, you could be right, but I remember something about Hulk level potential. "Avengers Level" isn't that impressive really, Imean as good as thay are Hawkeye and Widow are Avengers Level and so were Bobby and Ward. That's not really a scary thought when you consider how powerful she truly is.
Iron Man, War Machine, Thor, Scarlet Which, Vision, Hulk, Ant-Man, Spider-Man, DR. Strange...all could go toe to toe with Daisy and give her a hard time if she was ONLY "Avengers Level" She needed to be "stand out" power. And she was for the first few episodes of this season. Any seizmic disturbance was "Where's Quake?"
Wether it was Fitz or Simmons who made the Hulk comparison, I don't remember accurately, but I know it was made.
Agents of Shield fans have it so good right now. Normies reacting to older seasons of Shield, and Blindwave reacting to current episodes! 👏🏻👏🏻
It’s win-win
I remember a time when Torchwoodboy was the only reliable reactor. We have come a long way since then.
and juli
And Jimmy Macram is too!
I kinda hope Blind Wave does a catch-up series with someone, maybe Calvin. It's seems wrong somehow for them to not have an entire series-worth of reactions for Agents of SHIELD.
This reminds me of what Raina told Ward in season 1. How “They can be monsters together.”
Also, Lincoln’s rage lighting is pretty cool.
Loved Rana's slow clapping and her eyes shifting at 18:05
👏 lowkey beautiful
That was a perfect plot twist - it has so much sense but yet none saw this coming.
It should be obvious that Hive will choose the most powerful one with the biggest knowledge about his greatest enemy - Shield but somehow it was easier for us to suspect someone new than her. When Coulson said that someone put there bomb to hide cause of death that was also a clue - only Daisy and Lincoln can kill someone with their powers. Malick's vision was also big clue, in last episode he said that "I was torn apart from the inside". I mean from all characters on the show only Daisy has power to do something like that.
This episode also shows how smart Daisy is - even under mind-control she prepared perfect set up and let them to lock her up because she knew that she can escape and in this way tema will stop being so suspicious.
Honestly I think everyone (even for a second) thought " OMG it is Daisy" but the show did such an amazing job at making you doubt all four characters that it was just perfect and soo well done. AoS writers killing it again. I have seen their reaction to the rest of the season and can I just say that I am soo happy that thay are so invested in the show now. There were times where I had given up hope that they would give it a real chance, but AoS wins you eventualy (it is too badass of a show).
Yup there were a lot of clues and yet the show still fooled us :).
18:06 - LOL! Love Rana's awed applause: LIke she just saw the most shocking thing she could ever see yet can't help but to admir the beauty of it all.
Daniel Lanctot “*like* she just saw”?
that’s exactly what she saw
I can’t wait to see her reaction to THE twist in season 5 man
Animusswtor _ which twist?
just kidding, hypothetical question, don’t answer it lol
Lincoln is kinda like the love child of Palpatines Lightning powers and Anakins Anger
LOL so true.
His hero name: "The Senate."
*Unlimited POOOOOOOOOOWER*
Mallick didn't see Ward killing him, it showed his head being caved in by something or someone, and he assumed it was Ward getting rid of him.
Chris swear he knows everything. And when he wrong, he still think he right.
You guys got it wrong. Chris being wrong is the best because he doesn’t get the chance to spoil seconds before the reveal happens. He loves doing that shit.
RIP Powers Boothe, his final screen performance.
He passed two years ago today. 😱
Hives infection is similar to killgrave. It just makes them want to do what he say's but with killgrave they don't nescessarily feel good about it they just have no control. Hive is more like a drug. It gives them a sense of euphoria to do what he says instead.
“What did Malick want?”
Power. Hydra was always about world domination and he thought he could control Hive and, by extension, his Inhuman army to achieve that goal. He was wrong in a classic example of human hubris.
Malick never thought he could control Hive. He was brought up in an ancient family who worshipped Hive and he was taught to do the same. Malick’s goal was just as he told Ward: he wanted to be the one who brought Hive back and help him tale over the world, as then he’d be able to rule beside him and do whatever the hell he wanted. So Malick wanted to rule the world and have all the power, but he also recognised and accepted that he would still be subordinate to Hive as the ultimate ruler.
Chris spitting out lies about Malicks death like its fact.
*_5 minutes later he's proven wrong_*
Plays it off like no one would remember how wrong he was lol.
Classic.
He swears he right all the time. Like just stop it, you was wrong ok.
@@DanDM24 I've already posted this to a few of their videos but, yelling out predictions helps nobody. Either you're right, but ruin the surprise and the flow of the story for everyone and feel like you're so smart, or you're just wrong.
He’s just hoping everyone else’s memory is as bad as his
@@DanDM24 Confidence is key even when you're wrong !!! I write the notes so ... I mean I know whats up!
10:58 The whole fanbase like twice a season
SO TRUE HAHAHHAA OMG
A huge amount of the fanbase needs their FitzSimmons fix every episode lol
“I’ve met gods, gods bleed.” - Coulson
Daisy did a great job in a leadership role. When she uses her powers, she holds back a lot. She doesn't usually need their full strength.
Yep. Also her powers are very destructive from the nature. So when she's using them in destructive ways they are the most powerful. When she uses them in controlled way, like pushing people or objects away it's barely a procent of her full power.
I know it’s just a coincidence but y’all released this reaction two years to the day that Powers Booth (Malik) passed. A great talent who will always be missed. R.I.P. Powers Booth
There was no Slingshot. That was a cover story so SHIELD could keep tech without people knowing. Remember the weapon that kills Garrett? That was supposedly Slingshotted. And Coulson knew about it. Thats why he didnt "Slingshot" the gravitonium and hid it instead.
He also didn't slingshot it because they don't know how it'll react to the Sun
The slingshot was semi real, they sent rockets for sure, but they were empty.
11:31 The level of confidence in this wrong fact just shows how unreliable witness memories are
Dammit you guys skipped fitz’s joke while he kissed jemma. Or at least you didn’t put in video 😭
I think Malick’s reasons were twofold. There was the cult of Hydra growing up that made him believe that Hive was a god who would reward those who brought him back. For someone as greedy as Malick, Hive’s power would have been very tempting. There’s also the fact that he sacrificed his brother to Hive, which left him with enough motivation to want to bring Hive back, even if he wasn’t a ‘true believer’ he had that guilt inside him and the desire to know the truth about his brother’s fate.
You might not be able to spend 960 million in a Ward lifetime but...what about a Hive one?
I LOVE the back and forth about who could be infected
How are u guys surprised daisy is this powerful literally when she couldn’t control her powers she destroyed a whole forest and moved a mountain
OMG I noticed it today when Malick says his last rodeo with shield around 9:14 ! The actor passed away after this how crazy is that!!
Rida
Two years ago today
@@jgant5063 I know he passed away when the show was airing but I noticed the part of dialogue today..I have watched this episode multiple times but didn't pay attention
@@jgant5063 wait did you mean he passed away on today's date?
Yep. It popped up on my FB memories. Two years ago today
"she's that powerful?"
people who watched S6E1: lol
Kinda spoiler but I doubt that they will see this comment anyway.
SPOILER
I wouldn't say that 6x01 was a good example of her full strengh. If anything the best examples are when she's using them against her will like loosing control or being under mind control. Daisy is always holding back her powers, her biggest limit is her morality - really. So we saw her doing crazy things when she was dealing with those things - like destroying that forest in 2x15, destroying base in 3x17, killing Malick in 3x17 or that Kree 3x19, even BIG SPOILER when Graviton used her powers to break the planet apart in s5.
More like season 5
@@bifa5414 I believe he was referring to Simmons talking about how Daisy was leaving a wake of destruction wherever they go, which she was doing to instill fear in others so they would respect their strength. Evidently Daisy was tearing a bunch of shit up while they were searching for Fitz, enough so to where "Quake" became a fairly well known name.
You guys obviously haven't seen all of AoS, but there are a lot of details about the Kree in Captain Marvel that are consistent with what has been said about them on AoS. THAT is what most AoS fans are happiest about.
One thing I have a doubt is, did the Tahiti protocol remove his entire memory of the Kree and the events under Captain Marvel? Then it would explain why he doesnt remember the Kree. Otherwise, he should at least have understood the Kree body when he saw it in that tube, considering he must've at least seen the Shield files which talk about the Kree..
@@rohitr9400 I'd say that's probable. Shield removed pretty much every memory Coulson had related to the TAHITI project in the hopes that doing so would eliminate or at least limit the side effects of the GH 325 serum derived from the Kree body they had recovered. Considering how Fury was already willing to go that far, it's not unreasonable to think he would have also ordered Coulson's doctors to remove any memories Coulson had of the events of Captain Marvel just as a precaution.
@@TheBS1000 I'd be willing to bet Fury placed Coulson in charge of TAHITI because Coulson already had some experience with Kree.
That final shot of Daisy is amazing. I loved watching this reaction. The writers just easing their doubts about each Inhuman while shifting their suspicion to another. That's Master class writing and deception there. 😁🤣
Chris so confident in his wrongness and then playing saying something totally different once we see Malick's death. Class.
“No ward killed him we saw it”
Bro. Sometimes you’re wrong, and that’s okay
clark greg IS the best part of the movie. cause I'm a shield fan.
but the movie in itself is really good as well ^^
It's funny, I really liked Captain Marvel but I thought about AOS the whole time I watched it
And omg I just realized: captain marvel IS the reason why Fury knew to use kree blood for project tahiti! (it explain why shield finally dug up an over 70 year-old alien corpse and used it)
Lol, the only time Rana wasn't right!
Dark Daisy is way better than Dark Dani.
The performance was perfect. She was so happy and uplifted to be part of the hive.
@@Nemophilist850 Everyone feels happy when they are high and she was on rare alien weed.😂
Performance was brilliant as always.
No need to throw shade at Dani, also we've bearly seen anything of Dark Dani cause she just turned
@@seanberdo5380 The problem with Dark Dani is how it was executed... Not so much with her character - I blame writers.
"When people can use your short temper against you, Lincoln, then you might want to work on that."
Tbf: you can use any personality trait against someone. After all they are constants.
You can use a person's empathy against them. Same goes with greed, lust, conscience, curiosity, confidence, paranoia - anything really.
Any constant within a human's psyche (traits and other dispositions) can be used to influence that human's behaviour.
I feel like Rana severely underestimates Daisy's abilities. Even if they knew it was Daisy, there's no way they could stop her, especially not when she's fully willing to kill.
Onto Shield and it's time for SECRET WARRIORS
Joey's been gay since his debut
Daisy throwing the Kool Aid with that wall smash
Team Science saves the Shield Base some time
Joey with the clutch save
Upping the Biological gore counter with the brain
Malik didn't see Ward kill him, he experienced a feeling
Only Ward infects people, but while it was easy to suspect Lincoln, it's not. It was Daisy all along
Terrigen needs to be studied and quarantined
Spend it on giving it to me?
Hive lives in Ward's Body, it has all of its past hosts' memories though, thus why Ward calls Daisy Skye
Woah Black Screen at 28:02
Chris using his personal head canon lol.
For me Captain Marvel is on par with most MCU origin stories, including the first thor, cap, and strange.
Favorite episode of aos well they all are but I love this one
May went through a window when the plane was going down.
Here at 1:35 ua-cam.com/video/SALS_Ph6MeU/v-deo.html
May got thrown into a glass window at end of last episode when ship took a dive.
The look on all your faces when you all were wrong about Malick's death and it being Lincoln infected. 😂😂❤ priceless (05/05/23)
They should put that on the poster for Captain Marvel.
'It's better than Thor 2' - The Normies.
Is it though? Dark World has the Thor/Loki dynamic.
That's not high praise
Malick should have read Neil Gaiman's "Sandman." "Do not summon what you cannot dismiss."
I hope they do a Captain Marvel Crossover in the new Season. Beware of spoilers for the seasons ahead and CM in the comments
I watched a reaction recently of the pilot episode again and they actually paid off something in Captain Marvel from that first AoS episode. When Skye was caught, as being a member of the Rising Tide, she was talking about how SHIELD were shadowy men that cover up stuff, like that thing in New Mexico (Thor) and Project Pegasus (CM). I was like, "WAIT...Holy SHIT! They finally paid off what that is in 'Captain Marvel'!"
Its actually amazing how wrong and annoyed chris was, only to change his stance as if that's what he always ment.
Rana with that slowclap and shocked face was all of us when we first saw that ending. It was perfect. Daisy's small smirk while she's destroying the base was so creepy.
THIS IS AGENTS OF SHIELD, BABY!!!!
"I believe in a world where her true nature will reveal itself, and when that day comes, maybe the two of you could be monsters together."
Raina prophesied before she could see the future.
17:25 "She's that powerful?"
Just wait for S5
The Facility is an amazing movie, wish I still had it on video.
"She's that powerful?"
Yep
Watch in .75 speed and they are reacting stoned as hell
Ps sometimes I think the set for the hydra base is the same one in the Defenders hallway fight.
@11:24 he saw his death from someone else’s view and thought it was ward killing him @16:02 we seen this but not who was behind it and it was daisy
Hive can speak or at least understand Spanish because he replied to lucio when he first met him.
I have to make a point which I know they have passed by now as I’m here late. Daisy won’t keep a secret from hive because she has been taken over and is drinking the kool aid so if she knows something that she knows ward wants she will tell him.
CAPTAIN MARVEL SPOILER
Coulson was unnaturally still because he wasn’t Coulson he was a skrull
it wasnt malick who saw ward killing him it was those people whose company i think they wanted and ward killed them right after
@5:31 it was the ending of the last episode when that guy took over the plane was going down and may went up against glass and it smashed and some might have stabbed her
14:45 LOL This show is funny.
I'm pretty sure Hive's infection makes the Inhuman more powerful or at the very least they get control of their powers much quicker as I think is shown in an episode or two with a side character.
Yeah, it makes them so serene they gain better control
No one:
Absolutely no one:
Not a single soul in this wide wide universe:
Rana: *quietly clapping* o.o
You have gotten to see "Quake, Destroyer of Worlds."
Rana's gonna FLIP EVEN MORE next episode!! 😂🤣
Nice one as always
The dark elves! Woooooo!
yay The Singularity next week :D
(Raise hand) Guilty as charged. I was already interested in Rogue One as I love Star Wars, but then the Trumpists boycotted and I knew I had to see it.
'The Team' only got one mission before breaking up, but I get why; as demonstrated here they're unstoppable together, but now even the ones who stick with SHIELD need to careful to avoid being infected by Hive. Unlike its common use in fiction, I believe this 'Hive' refers to the numerous lifetimes of memories carried over into Alveus from previous hosts, not a Borg-style collective consciousness- Daisy and the others still hold onto their personalities, merely influenced instead of controlled.
Most mind control in entertainment involves the mind control to control their actions and thoughts and a lot of times the person isn't really home.
With Hive's sway on the other hand, instead of controlling thoughts or actions, Hive instead controls emotions, which is actually a lot scarier tbh. Because Hive influences Inhumans emotions making them feel good about serving him which then gives them a desire to continue serving him so his parasites will continue to release dopamine.
That's why (Spoiler) when Daisy is released from his control she was blaming herself so much, because from her perspective she wanted to kill Malick, to hurt Mack, to turn everyone into Inhumans, to drain her blood etc.
From Daisy's POV, that wasn't Hive making her do those things, to her it was all stuff she did of her own free will.
I mean obviously she's wrong because Hive was influencing her, but that doesn't make a difference to her
People who desire power never have their thirst for power sated.
Mickey says “is she about to-“ and then let’s everyone else finish because he has no idea
They confirmed that they didn't use any CG for Coulson in "Captain Marvel." This is why Fury looked really great and Coulson looked like he had a bit too much makeup 'cause...he had a ton of makeup. Considering that it WAS all makeup, it didn't look bad at all. It's just in comparison to Samuel L. Jackson's transformation, it was a bit more stark.
Let the AOS Fan Base Civil War Begin!
😂
@6:14 they landed in this base at the end of the last episode
NOT the whole base Suraj, we SAW Coulson was still alive and so was everyone else. Relax BRUH. She definitely collapsed the hanger at least.
pat theman how the fuck are fans supposed to know that on the first damn watch? Stop posting stupid comments.
This is my 4th rewatch, and honestly I'm glad Daisy gets mind controlled here because I'm really starting to hate her character.
I really hope they watch Agents of Shield Slingshot before they start season 4. It almost like a bonus episode. Can someone who's a patreon supporter or anyone else try and let them know?
It didn't happen off camera. May was slammed into the glass by the Asian dude when he was escaping.
I have not seen this fandom so rude and disrespectful to reactors til I came here. All of yall need to lay off Chris. You guys are better than that. At least he remembered how Malick was "supposed" to die and Malick's assumption that Hive did it. It's not his fault the show did a good job of misdirecting the viewers- heck, most other reactors were confused when they thought Malick died by the bomb as well. Plus Chris remembered something as minor as the slingshot, something far back in S1. He might not be a diehard fan of the show, but at least he's somewhat enjoying it enough to watch this long. Kudos to the man for sticking around despite all the constant bitching in the comment section.
Can you guys react to the IT chapter 2 trailer when you have time?
Do two episodes at one time .-.
Agreed! They might not catch up in time for S7 if they don't :o

@8:26 hmm you sure 😂😂
Daisy was infected during the mission in the episode "Spacetime." Way back then.
Actually, that's wrong. She was infected at the begining of this episode, while they were trying to save the team. You can see it at the end of the episode when Daisy is talking to Lincon.
@@y.a.s9198 I always thought it was during "Spacetime", when they thought Lincoln was infected and soon after Coulson shot out that two-way mirror.
Ward was never shown killing Malick. Malick saw himself dying in a vision (Ward was nowhere in the vision) and everyone just assumes it was Ward.
