The bit that they cut out I couldn't remember either! I had to look it up because suddenly I couldn't envision what was meant to go there. It was Burr talking about their prowess with ladies and deflowering them. So. Okay. But the Harem Comment™ can stay... as long as it has air quotes? I'm so confused as to what went into the censorship for this.
And I'll say, you're one of the first reactors I've seen mention how... alright the performances are. They obviously aren't trained or professional, but that doesn't mean that there wasn't a lot of talent there that could be nurtured. But I guess especially when the entire thing is done illegally and under a banner promoting hate, it's hard to be kind about what they *did* do well.

Argh, they left out that they're reliable with the ladies, one of my fave early Hamilton/Burr moments. You just don't expect it. Burr is doing his usual talking down on Hamilton and then... That!!! And we find out that Hamilton has a presidential tomcat named after him, lol... In all seriousness, as I watch this, I have to keep reminding myself not to compare her to Phillipa Soo. This is (most likely) not a Juliard-trained vocalist who's going to melt your heart by being able to say the same word 20 times with a different inflection. The girl is trying to hit insane notes and perform crazy runs while (as was pointed out) being flung across a stage and just moving, period. And you can hear her nerves. She does fine, considering. They all do. The original cast of Hamilton is not human and no one else is going to be on their level.
