Cyborg's entrapping doctor in season five, then plays a Lex clone in season ten, the football player Coach Arnold threatens in season one, plays Dan Turpin, a police officer in season eight, Lana's fighting trainer in season eight, plays Rick Flag, leader of The Suicide Squad, in two episodes in season ten, and the seemingly delusional person that can travel on alternate frequencies in season six, plays a member of The Suicide Squad in an episode of season ten. Troy Turner, a bully, appears in two episodes before being killed off, one in season one and one in season two, and this actor then plays the former boyfriend of the uptight, self-absorbed Prom Queen obsessed girl in season four (the one that ultimately ends up getting the power to jump from body to body). Apart from Cyborg's entrapping doctor/the Lex clone, and the football player/Dan Turpin, I don't like when the show re-uses actors as even though it's not noticeable when you watch a later new episode, it's noticeable when you go back and watch the first episode with a re-used actor. I don't mind the ones I mentioned as they look different in their second appearances, and therefore, this isn't recognizable there. It would also make things like the bug villain in season one coming back ten years later, and Dr. Groll coming back two seasons later after season six not possibly be confusing. Smallville is the only show I've ever seen do this, and even though it's kind of cool or perhaps even flat-out cool, I ultimately think it undermines the reality of the stories being told, taking a person out of it with a jarring continuity error, and that's easily more important to me.
Damn makes me feel so old. I use to watch this when I was at university. And Tom welling finally aged. We was shocked when we found out his age on the show. Everyone else was a lot younger than him so he was youthful for his age hence why people may think he aged bad but not really. I think he was 36 or so when looked him during small ville.
