These areas of Turkiye are much beautiful in spring and summer when more flowers green with snow on top of mountains with cattles everywhere, and rivers full of water and waterfalls everywhere
People must be blown away when they see Arizona plates on your Cruiser ( 100 series you passed). We need to buy you a couple of tacos if you can find them in Turkey
Hello from Arizona! I am a few moths away from being a full-time overlander myself. Everything is taking longer these days to get built. Turkey is higon my bucket list because of the people, food and ope land. Take care you two!
How are you not at 100K subs? Great video quality and subject matter! Proves that 90% of people are good and we should not be afraid to try new experiences.
I think I could give you a blank piece of paper and you would find something beautiful on it to take pictures of. Sometimes we have look a little closer to things to see beauty. Thanks for the ride along.
Beautiful! We were blown away by Türkiye too when we visited in 2019…and we didn’t even get to camp/ overland like you two. The people, the food, the beauty, and the history of the place. So glad you’re getting to spend time there.
My wife is Turkish, we love traveling in our pop-top 80 series, and, for a long list of reasons (even though evoking some homesickness) your Türkiye videos have been a joy to watch. We dream of doing this too. Thanks for bringing us along, and for taking such care in presenting the place. Merhaba and teşekkürler from Flagstaff.
Incredible episode guys! It’s crazy to think those mountain villages have probably been there for a couple thousand years with very little change. I really enjoyed your closeup of the plants/insects at the campsite. I always make a point to “zoom in” on the little stuff when I’m camping too. There’s so much more biological variety than you might think. Anyway, thanks for bringing us along :)
Turkey was the first country I ever visited outside a few Mexican border towns. Later I got to spend a lot of time there. Loved the food. The people were beyond friendly. Very pretty countryside. Thanks for taking me back to that time. Great video, as usual.
Please make a movie/documentary , Netflix and Amazon will fight for having your stories told in their platforms, loved every second. The editing is outstanding!
Once again, you two are amazing! I so enjoy your personalities and how you work together so well. Out of all the ones I watch you are on my list to meet one day. Bless you both.
Wait, what?!!I thought you guys were still in AZ!?! Seriously, I’ve missed a few episodes🤣. Thanks for reminding me of what I’ve been missing! Thanks for letting us share in the community of…us! The succulents weren’t bad either!! Keep on truckiin!
Where to next after Turkey and the Caucasus? Catch the ferry to Turkmenistan or Kazakhstan and explore central Asia? Sadly I believe yous cant get into Iran or its very expensive due to being from the US. Loving the videos btw, giving me huge inspiration!
Did you happen to know how high you drove in this video, it certainly looked way up there at times. Also noted the mountains and wondered if you knew their altitude. I had looked up the highest point in the country and I see that particular mountain/volcano is very high at 16854 feet at the eastern end of the country. Some of those houses were sure on precarious cliffs to say the least.
@@SaltySunriseSailing I would imagine you've slept at some extremely high altitudes in south america as I am guessing there are risks of high altitude sickness in ones sleep when one isn't acclimatized to it. For example I sort of goofed and ended up being forced to sleep at the top of Taylor Pass ( imagine you've been through there ) at 12000 feet and I didn't wake up dead the next morning at least 😉
@@charlesb4267 Haha yeah, we have encountered our fair share of high elevation. In South America Coca really helped but neither of us has suffered much from altitude sickness luckily. If you haven't watched this episode (ua-cam.com/video/aTgCTzNsNm4/v-deo.html) that is officially the highest we have been (glad we didn't have to sleep up there though!)
@@SaltySunriseSailing I still have not caught up to all of the south american vidoe's yet and not the one you posted either. My first reaction to that altitude is "that's crazy", then again I never claimed to be sane either ! . Can you imagine if you had been trying to drive a naturally aspirated diesel to that extreme, the turbo certainly makes these extremes possible. Well I watched that 4x4 trail climb up the mountain and I have to eat my words, I was thinking now that of course Goose was also a diesel as per the better fuel mileage and also a turbo ... and you had neither. Toyota must have done something back then to tune them computer wise to go to those extremes and a more refined fuel delivery system. My chev pickup was quitting on me on Mt Antero on the last stages of the climb up to 14000 feet if I let off the throttle, the water sprinkler system ( also known as throttle body ) was not up to the task.
Omg! I want to go back! I was Traveing in the mid/south parts and it was all deserts basically. The green mountains are so much better, same as in Romania. 🎉

Thanks for continuing to open my eyes to parts of the world I wouldn't have otherwise considered traveling to / in. Beautiful!
Beautiful, 18 minutes and 26 seconds escape from Milwaukee Wisconsin. Thank you. 🇺🇸👌🏼

Hey Shawn! Congrats! It is a great destination for traveling like we do.
Sometimes we get caught up in our own "bubble" that we forget what else is out there. Thanks for showing 🌍🌏
Thanks Mark!

You are welcome David!
I had no idea Turkey presented so much opportunity to get into nature. Wonderful.
Us either! It has been a very pleasant surpirse.

Wade, that's so cool! Love that you had the same impression of Türkiye! Glad you enjoyed!
What an incredible journey! It’s so beautiful there! Thank you for sharing - it’s so refreshing when I am in the final leg of the 10-1 “season”.
Hi Wendy, thank you!
Such nice trails and areas you could see. For some reason remind me Scotland 😂 with better weather. Much better weather.
Yeah, the green hillsides and the sheep!

Turkey is very different from my expectations as well.
Beautiful! Thanks for another great episode!
Thank you for sharing your journey ❤
Thanks for watching Mark!
Very nice to have met you today in the south of France. I’ve just joined your channel. Keep up the good work. Greetings Michael.
Great to meet you Michael! Enjoy the Pyrenees!

Hey Charles, I am not sure exactly what the highest point was but I would guess around 9,000ft.

Hi from Turkey.
I think the sniffing sound you heard in the nighttime was not a dog! Bear or Boar is more likely...
Thanks for visiting Turkey.
Yeah, it was big! Cheers!
Awesome trip🤘👍❤❤❤
Thanks Tomas!
