Only real ones could relate to this 🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹. For me it’s:
    1) Food
    2) Culture at home is less sensitive, less stressful, less individualistic, more genuine
    3) My barber
    4) Nature (greenery and water)
    5) Walking and traveling (easy to move around even without owning a car)
    6) The Savannah
    7) Holidays
    8) The Beach
    9) The People
    10) For me personally it was easier to budget while in Trinidad

I haven't been back to Trinidad since 2015 and I'm going back this June. This video totally hyped me up!

It's the lack of common friendliness. No good mornings no hellos was the hardest adjustment for me

This is true...I got the friendliness and stuff at church so it made up for that 😩😩 but I see what you're saying!

I miss our familiar food so much. Being able to go to a nearby roti shop, get doubles or even Trini Chinese food. It’s just not the same over here lol. Plus beaches open back 😭😭😭

Your video was interesting. I'll take a minute to comment on the "dirty streets" and confined living spaces. I'm a Trini living abroad, here in the USA - I've always lived in the suburbs where my neighborhoods are clean and there's alot of outdoor backyard space. So there are many opportunities for clean suburban living. However the downside is there are limited opportunities to maintain my Trini lifestyle as compared to living in a City area such as NYC.
I'm looking forward to seeing your part 2.

    You’re right about everything.
Bad concept period. Lived in the US for 20 years and I credit Trinidad for everything I have and who I am. Anything else is delusional thinking. Ppl need to stop lying, I called BS the first week I lived here.

Not everyone thinks that way. Living here you have to find restaurant not fast food places and find west Indian food places. You're not in Trinidad so be open to that. I live in the 🇺🇸and i understand. I tell people when they're coming to visit just be open an remember you are not home.
