Dude your dropping some of the most intriguing, most solid content I’ve seen in a while about mammals to insects. Keep up the amazing work, I hope you get more views so more people can see your awesome work.
My favorite member of Lepidoptera is the rosy maple moth. They are SO PRETTY!!! I had the pleasure of seeing one of those little guys in the wild. I also saw a Luna Moth in the wild. Now the only one left on my moth bucket list is the Regal Moth.
The genus _Danaus_ which the monarch butterfly belongs to has other species in it. You probably saw a tiger butterfly; did it have white spots on its hindwings?
14:19 Yo, I think I know where that is! That looks like the butterfly garden at the Peggy Noteberdt Nature Museum in Chicago (probably spelled that wrong) Can confirm, that is indeed an Owl butterfly. Probably the coolest species they have there.
My grandma has a preserved butterfly specimin, im wanting to know what type of butterfly it is. It has rainbow stripes and a black border kinda like the tiger ones border. Its slightly metallic too?
Butterfly wings are covered in little powdery scales that rub off very easily, even when they're alive. It's always best to touch their wings as little as possible if you're ever moving them :) Moth wings are the same way
I'm pretty sure you cracked the algorithm.... Blowing up my guy
I hope he starts getting more traction soon, the algorithm deciding whether to make or break the streak of popularity he has going
