Everyone is doing such an amazing job! The horse Kory was riding looks great, I hope he gets adopted soon. And this tiny kittens 🤩 Hopefully they all pull through with such great care. I really hope the three legged dog gets adopted very soon, too! It deserves all the best after surviving getting hit by a car. It’s wonderful Nadia got adopted! The lady seemed to be so gentle and kind. Networking is so important and what you do to create a bigger and better safety net for horses is amazing!

Glad Harvests foot is being sorted..Kory spotted that when he was doing some training with her.. little Benjamins wound is still pretty big..but its a good pink colour..he needs to put on weight..but when you realise how long he has been have good groceries at Horse Plus then you realise how skinny this lil boy was when they rescued him..just skin and bone and just enough energy to walk to the trailer..had to be lifted onto it..I don't think they thought he would make it but this cute lil guy is a fighter..should have still been nursing off momma..glad Kory got the chance to ride rather than just lead..that was one beautiful horse..hope the 3 legged dog gets a good home..looked a bit thin..hope the 7 little doggies are ok too..see you in a few weeks Dr Nancy..all this experience will help her deal with the dental issues some of these horses have..hope they can do something for that one horses from the last auction with the crooked jaw..must have missed that intake video as not seen those from that auction be assessed..see y'all next time..🇬🇧💞🙏✝️👏👍👏👍🐎🇺🇸

Another excellent educational video with John's humour added. Kory I do hope he allows you to be a part of the media team. That photo you took with your phone turned out so good, and I think you qualify for the next lecture. Ha
I think it is wonderful that Dr Nancy is interested in updating her skills. We never stop learning better ways to help these horses. Good on you.
Oh Jason and Tawnee I don't envy you at all by having to balance flights at airports and the food problem for vegetarian/ gluten free is a nightmare coupled with the the fear of flying keeps me on the ground for the most part.
Loving all you do, and I do love Keith and his humour as well. Thank you film and media team for another great video. God bless.

    I love your team.
Kimberley - your manner around the horses and with them is brilliant - I really am so pleased that you are with the HPHS team and hope you are there til you retire! Benjamins neck is looking soooooo much better than it did initially. Lots of folk who didnt see it to start with would probably still be horrified, but guys - seriously - hes looking so much better - Ive seen worse - Ive seen one that had a hole straight through that you could put your hand straight through the neck, and shake someones hand the other side. Thats totally filled in now and the pony is back to 'normal' other than a little scar each side.
Elijah is wonderful and I like how he deals with the horses - particularly the difficult ones - where things have really gone wrong as well as attitudes....
Dr Nancy - I just love you!!! lol You remind me so much of my old vet here - he was about 800km from where I lived, and he was an Equine Dental Vet - he actually used to teach the courses. Not sure if he heads to the USA to do stuff over there. He is brilliant with the horses, and the ONLY complaint I had with him dentistry wise - he wouldnt put a gold tooth replacement in the front of my 30 yr old 14hh Palouse with a full size mouth .... lol He said if he had that much gold he would not be working still. hahaha....
Kory - that chestnut/sorrel horse you are riding in the round pen - very nice looking horse - particularly the front end... I like using a french link full cheek egg butt snaffle a smidge below or level with the corner of the mouth and if the horse in question gets their tongue over the bit - rather than hoik up the cheek pieces, I just put a little string on the bit rings, put a knot half way up in the centre of the nose up to the centre of the browband - just to hold the bit 'up' in the mouth but not have anything rub up on the bridge of the nose as such - it makes more sense when you see it and they seem happier than shortening cheek pieces.
Keith - should you REALLY be doing all that on your own and wearing yourself out??????
Kittens and Puppies (Dogs) - Oh My! Good luck with the babies!!!!
Tawnee and Jason - sounds like you had fun in Utah :D Good stuff!!!
Anyone I did not individually mention who was in this episode - Im sorry - brain fart and its 4:50am here. Forgive me?

Completely agree with Cory on the bit part (personally I don't like the snaffle, I rather use a straight bit, as its actually less painful for the horse, compaired to how the snaffle bends)
I think this horse probably swings his head, because they pull the bit to far up, and it pushing against his teeth.

The bottle fed kittens will do much better if you feed them while they are laying tummy down. Thats the natural way that they suckle. it keeps them from aspirating the formula. Also, if you burp them after about 1 third of the amount to be fed they seem to metabolize the food better. When they are itty bitty babies like you have there, they do much better if fed every hour. Once they open their eyes and recognize the bottle is on the way I start feeding every two hours. Dont mean to tread on any toes...just saying.
I raise feral kitties every spring. Also baby birds (songbirds and raptors). Wild mammals such as squirrels, skunks etc. Of coarse any livestock that needs help can stay with me. I' m six months away from 70 yo. and still love doing this. Momma Big Bird is the name i used.
Thsnks for all the successful rescues you accomplish. Wish I were there. I'd volunteer every day!!-
God bless you and send you everything good. A'ho
