I would recommend trying to buy the telescoping ladder that comes on the new gen2 version, in which I own, it’s way smoother, and in the long run its a better overall ladder. Have fun overlanding!
It has held up quite well. The Colorado movie probably shows the add ons the most. There’s a shower, water tank and shower room drivers side, awning on rear, and traction boards passenger.

Hey great video. I just got the gen 2 xl tent. Not sure if the sizes are much different. Has there been any issues with the overhang? Any issues with someone sitting or sleeping on that side of the tent?
Finally found a video of the xl on a gladiator i just bought my tent today and was so worried about it fitting properly. About how far past the tailgate does it stick out?

Thanks for sharing. Nice looking frame too (on truck), but I'd be careful about using unistrut for structual stuff. Should be fine for that setup tho.

Has your rof rack held up ok? No major shifting while innthe tent? Have you thought about adding stuff to the sides of it.

No issues at all. Even towing my v nose trailer has been fine.
