It's still a sitcom ... right? All I have seen are clips thus far and after watching I felt more sad than amused. Hope it gets better too. It's hard enough coming to terms with a new Dan ...
She could have been called cookie or kiki.
I can't get used to her normal voice after years watching The Big Bang Theory.
Wow, what a tribute to Harry.
Knowing Harry who's surprised by his daughter's real name? (Who also wants to bet her middle name is Melanie?)
How much you want to bet she likes Barry Manilow
Like a person could get to be a judge without ever seeing their birth certificate.
How do you know that "Abby" isn't what's actually printed on her birth certificate? I know one guy whose legal name given to him at birth is "Joe" and not "Joseph".
Person can be President while facing multiple felony charges and not releasing their financial information.
You did it. You found a plot hole in "Night Court".
@@OptimusWombat How do you define "real name"?
@@TippiGordon They could have just left it at Abby was a compromise between Abigail and Abracadabra. I am sure she has a driver's license.
I’m so so sad Christina didn’t end up with Harry. They just broke my heart
OF COURSE IT'S SHORT OF ABRACADABRA! I'M SUCH AN IDIOT FOR NOT SEEING THAT!
I can't see Harry naming his child anything else. Maybe Mal or Torme.
The new version needs a lot to catch up to the original.
Like better fans.....
It took the original two seasons, so I hope it’ll be the same for the sequel series!
IOW - This show is Magic!
Faith Ford hasn't changed at all!!!
@UncleMikeNJ WHOA!
She only used that to try and steal Miles from his wife Pam and their three children. It didn't work then and it wouldn't work here.
She went to college and law school. Pretty sure she would have already known what her name is. It would be on her diploma
Written as "Abby"?
Birth certificate probably says Abby.
RIP Harry, Mac, and Christine.
Don't forget about flow and Selma
Or technically… RIP Harry, Charles and Markie.
And now Bull
@@MrCaptainobvious77 Richard Moll was also Slan Quince, first villain of the Highlander tv series.
How would Abby feel if she came face to face with the woman her father dated in the early 1990's and that she left him when he was going to ask her to marry him, long before meeting Abby's mother? Would Abby be in shock or not?
Only our The Honorable Harry Stone would name his daughter Abracadabra.
Miss you Harry 😔 😢 the world could sure use you more then ever right now..... rip 😥
Abracadabra Stone- so perfect
Wow Faith Ford still looks really good! Celebs sometimes have a hard time taking care of themselves in their old age, but she's holding up well
having just started rewatching the old series, and when I saw the actress playing the mom, i thought, "OMG! He ended up with that nun that left the convent for him!" lol. if you know, ya know. I think it was late first season, early second season
Two cute blonds from two generations in a face-off. I love it.
Haven't seen this yet, and probably won't thank God.
I have not seen Faith Ford in a long time. Nice.
She was in the reboot of Murphy Brown in 2019. Stupid that CBS canned it after only one season. It was good.
love this
1:49, but She does have a Secret Family
Okay is this a call back to an old episode? Because I don't ever remember seeing her on the original Night Court
No. She is a made up defendant that came before Harry in court after the original show. My issue is that Harry left to teach at Columbia when the original ended. I guess he could have done both but they aren't being clear on a number of details.
@Joshua Steward Well memory serves he never took the Columbia teaching gig because there was a case that came through that showed him that his place was still in the court handling cases like that one
Bah... I thought it would be Ellen Foley who played Billie Young, a public defender and potential romantic interest for Harry Stone during season 2 and the mother to Abby.
Too bad there's only two originals left.
I think this says more about Harry Anderson than Harry Stone .
And I always thought Judge Harry married Christine Sullivan (Markie Post), after all they did tie the knot on 30 Rock. Faith Ford was a beautiful choice as Abby's Mom.
If 'lonely Clown' is level 2...what level is ancient clown?🤣
Personally I was hoping Ellen Foley's Billie Young would be her mother.
She was Corky Sherwood on Murphy Brown! Right?
Yes. She was Corky Sherwood-Forest for awhile when she was married to Will Forest.
It would be funnier with her squeaky Bernadette voice
I know. It is so weird tonhear her speak that way
It was a far cry for Faith Ford playing Abby's mother, after all those years as Corky on "Murphy Brown."
Why? They are basically the same character with the exception of the fact that this character had a child and a wrap sheet. The other character did not have brains to marry someone with a real job she had to blackmail someone else's husband and wife so people would never know the truth.
Seeing her talk and not hearing the voice of Bernadette is so strange
They need to bring back the Wheelers! (Brent Spiner)
Woah, Harry didn’t marry Christine in this universe? Noooo thank you. No no no. No.
You tell her about her Grandpa Buddy?
I love that she "RIGHTFULLY" left out "so help me God" in the oath. When you swear an oath to a government office, say military, politician, or any office of public trust, you do not have to say, "so help me God". That part is strictly voluntary. I know it is just a tv show, but facts matter, and in the real Constitution in the oath of office there are these three words, "No religious test"..
