We're elderly, disabled, underemployed folks in the Ozarks and learning to create videos never ends. Videos like these are still watched by the chief editor and camera operator even after nine years! We don't have a budget so we need to think out of the box ... even though we never actually had a box to begin with. Hey, love the video and the study!
Tom Cruise is awesome. I know Scientology is a cult . I get it. But Cruise is a very solid actor. If he was uglier he'd get wayyyy more recognition for being a great actor. Poor guy. I kid i kid .... But for real, i honestly think he gets overlooked for his acting ability. Also Cruise really does alot of action movies which i like (and alot of people like) but action movies don't get cred for acting and dialogue. I have so many friends that think of him as action star. Yet he's done some real gritty movies too. Is he as good as a Christopher Plummer or Morgan Freeman or Donald Sutherland? No but Tom Cruise is one of Hollywood's all time greats.

I googled Jimmy Garland and came across an article saying 2 pilots died in Colombia while filming American Made and the 3rd pilot survived - 3rd pilot being Jimmy Garland. I never knew about this. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. I know this is just a short interview with Cruise so i'll cut him some slack but you would think he would have mentioned that tragedy. I have heard that Cruise treats all the staff on movie sets with respect but this is disappointing. Very disappointing. If we just talking about the film in general then ok i could see why that wouldn't get mentioned but the fact that he brought up him being a pilot you would think he'd mention it.
Movie kinda sucked, waited over a year to see it so I may have built it up too much. They tried to cover way too much in story. But really covered NOTHING in end. Deep story with lots of holes

Tom Cruise did not do all of the flying! Jimmy Garland did A LOT of it! I do not know why TC is taking all of the credit!?
