Thank you for sharing your nice trip here. Did you have some time to go to the Air France Lounge there at the at the airport? And also, what about the lounge area in Cancun as well?
Your meal selection liked really nice. It is always good to have champagne an the wine your you like with your meal. The cheese plate looked good as well as your dessert. I see you did not have any coffee or expresso with your chocolate but that was cool. Finally, you made me laugh talking about humidity already noticed before getting off the aircraft. So nice!!! Hahahaha!! You had a good trip!!!😊
@@LMays-cu2hp Thank you for a lovely comment :). So to start from the beginning... Yes I did go to the AF lounge in the terminal 2E. The lounge is big enough for the demand so there is no problem to find the seat. The meal selection is fine: Soups, bread, selection of cheese and ham, some vegeterian mini burgers, soft drink and the best part is the self-service alcohol bar which is quite unusual. Most of the lounges have a served bar where you need to keep asking for refills and if you have an 8 hour connection like I did in Amsterdam once the waitress starts giving you the look like "omg you again 🙄". The one think that dissapointed me was that there is a Clarins spa which you can go to but anytime I am there it's always booked out and it's open only until 3pm. The lounge in Cancún wasn't anything special. Our flight was at 10pm and the lounge was closing at 9pm so they didn't really bother to be extra nice to us as they were about to go home shortly. There was a selection of hot meals but since it was late in the evening I just had a coke and left for the gate. To you second post I didn't want any coffee because I was hoping to fall asleep for a while but I didn't manage unfortunately however I did have a coffee on my returt flight which you will see later on and I have to say that it wasn't the best. It was quite cold and very weak. I hope you managed to read it until here :D
Hahaha! Thank for your response. I am sorry that you were not able to get in the spa. And you see that it is always booked!! Hmmm! I assume or wonder to think it is always crowded!! Hmm! And yes, O understand why you would not want some coffee and wanted to rest or sleep. I am glad you had a great flight for the most part!!😊😊 As I have gotten more mature/older and I have traveled since leaving the airlines, I am able to see to advantage of enjoying the amenities of travel. And I know not everyone can go to the lounges with paying a day pass or may not have the airline memberships. But as since I have traveled a lot, it does feel nice to get to the airport and relax first by eating, taking a shower and spa treatment. To me, for many of us, now that we have worked so long it is nice to have a treat or two or three!!😊😊😊
@@flywithpetr We too are hoping to visit the AF Lounge. We will be connecting 2F to 2E, or the other way around? We have a two hour connection time, we are hoping for the best. The meals looked wonderful, but the zoom on the Eiffel Tower looked even better! Wonderful video. Thank you!
I don't like it either. As the airport kept expanding they were just connecting one building to another and now it's just one huge mess but somehow I got used to it...
Thanks for sharing your video !!!
