Howdy Brandon!! Chad from Adler Farms sent us! I hear you are going to visit. Hope you can help him. He's singing your praises! 😊 Man! That is one bad a$$ machine!!
Hello Brandon, came over so I can show my Grandsons the big machinery. Oh an Chad too. I can’t wait to see how you can help him with the pond. Looking forward to your videos.
I'm new here..Chad with Adler Farms sent me..Can't wait to watch your videos...Thank you for helping Chad out...That beaver has done a number on his pond.....God bless from East Texas..
Well, that "dirt" makes for beautifully sharp edges/corners, but you must be going through teeth like a dentist on steroids! I know you did this work a while back, but as someone who has to live with a 4 - 5 foot "crawlspace" I hope the builder talks them into doing a full basement. Working down there while constantly at a 45 degree (or more) angle is a ROYAL pain. Dig deeper or build higher I say!
It does make nice sharp edges. They are going to do a bigger basement now but still part is crawl space. The homeowner is 85 but he has a guy that works for him that will be the one to go under the house lol
I thought about you yesterday. I put a French drain across the front of an airplane hanger, it was about 300 ft of digging. Beautiful red clay and only found one rock about the size of a softball. I thought, I bet Brandon would love to see this every once in a while. Can't wait to see that ripper at work.
Hi Brandon. Chad sent me over. I hope you can help him with his pond. I subscribed and look forward to seeing you moving dirt around! Love from California
Howdy, Brandon. 👋 I’m a new sub sent over by Chad at Adler Farms to check out your channel. I sure hope you can help him out with his pond/dam problem. Look forward to seeing what you do.🙂
I’m a sub of Chad at Adler farms and he was talking about his pond/damn on his land and he sent me over. I subbed to your channel! I enjoy watching this kind of content and looking forward to watching your videos!
we have material like that out here in Southern California we used it when I was a kid when pop was doing construction we actually used it to fill in around the footings to pour the slab on top of it the material out here I don't know if it's the same as back there but out here it's called decomposed granite stuff is like concrete once you get it wet and pack it
This is excellent Friday night entertainment! It is amazing how the excavator pushes those trees over. Great job on the basement and crawlspace dig! Very well done Brandon! Thank you for sharing with us!
I think I would be calling around to find a dozer with a ripper to help. Sure get nice straight walls and square corners. Shouldn’t have to worry about walls caving in.
Still not as bad as south Florida. Of course we do not have basements because if you dig a few feet down you hit water. I guess with the flimsy wood framed construction you have there people do not want trees anywhere near their home. That stuff you are digging looks almost like a road base.
@@eliteearthworksllc - I think it’s mostly limestone. Like sections of Texas, you get down a couple of feet there and it’s a boulder the size of Montana!! 😂😂. As far as I have seen in tv and UA-cam. I like watching channels for pool builds. In our area, it hard to get anyone to do an in ground pool anymore. Short season, anything really elaborate (aka nice) is a 2 year build and it’s a very real consideration to fully enclose whatever you build for more use and greater longevity. $$$$$. Another tangent,, sorry. 😅
Have you ever tried rock teeth on the bucket? I have heard mixed reviews from people using them, some loved them said the only way to go and others were not that impressed. Of course, no two jobs are going to be in the exact same conditions, so I have no clue one way or the other really. What I do see, is it seems like mixed loose gravel sized stone but it sounds like you are digging in solid rock and looks like it judging by what you are able to break free in each pass. But you are able to break it to get there, so I ask if you have ever tried them because I think that the added pressure from those types of teeth may help. Either way, still hard digging. Thanks for the videos.
I haven’t tried them on this bucket but on my 260 I have them. I have the tiger and twin tiger teeth. They do make a difference but wear out extremely fast in this rock. I was going to get a set for this bucket because of this job but they couldn’t get them quick enough. I have found the best combo is a ripper then using the bucket to clean it out. My new ripper will be here in 3 weeks 🤣 always a day late and dollar short
You might have to upgrade to tungsten to make it through this job… you’ll have those teeth worn to the gums! Those oaks are even harder when they are thirsty. I was watching you break the limbs. It sounded like timbers snapping. The only good news is… no rain and cooler temps for the next 10 days. I’m posting a video in the morning that’ll show how bad it was at the end of July… all of the rain we’ve had here, since then, is less than 2”. I like it cool and dry for cutting firewood… but digging? I can’t afford the teeth! BTW… that first corner was pretty near Frank quality!!!
I think I might have too these aren’t going to make it. The ground is unreal how hard it is. That’s crazy only 2” I hope we get some rain before winter hits. Thank you! This stuff does make nice corners lol

How are the new teeth doing. If you can sell them about 10 loads of gravel, you are are great salesman. 👍👍
They are worn out and I’ve already got another set 🤣🤣

Yeah that would be nice! 😁

I’ve actually got a dozer rented I’m bringing over there Monday 😁
There goes another set of teeth
Yep 🤣 they lasted 35 hours going a new set to put on

Oftentimes, folks don’t even scrape the 1” of topsoil off. They just pile more dirt on top of it. Instant driveway!!!
I'm thinking the owners are remembering the F5 tornado that tried to level the city. I'd want a tornado shelter too.
Man that’s crazy! You wouldn’t think in Florida it would be that tough. Glad to hear the hurricane missed you. Appreciate you watching

Is the rock coming out of the ground yours? Will you sell it?
I’ll probably end up using it on this site for the courtyards
First Comment 👍🇺🇸
Phew! You had me nervous bud. I thought you had napped right through it!!!
👍🏻
Buy a ripper espcially with ground like that
Yes my new ripper will be here in 2-3 weeks. I have one for my smaller excavator
Yes, very hard ground lol
It’s terrible
Would you call the dirt you're digging in this vijid "chirt" like DP's got in Indiana?
It’s probably pretty close it’s our rocky red clay.
