Never been there unfortunately. Million dollar homes and a golf course. What a blow to the State Park system and to us.

I will probably make Cleburne SP my stop off when I’m traveling through Dallas. I like it better than Cedar Hill SP. I’m saddened that we’re losing Fairfield SP. I just don’t understand how a park that’s been open for 46 years can be sold like that? Vistra should be ashamed for going after the money and not protecting the land for future generations! 👍😎
It’s nice that the park is allowing visitors to check out the trails and day use areas before closing for good. I saw a rendering online of some resort that will be built out there. It makes me sick to think that all of the campgrounds will be torn out. Thanks for watching and safe travels! 👍😎

Yeah we checked it out spring break, you could go in but all camping was closed off 😢

What an awful thing that this State Park is closing. Sad.
