One of those personalities who played a major part in my childhood, adolescence and early adulthood. My ears perked up whenever I heard his name and brought a smile to my face. Trapdoor is among my favourites but I would pay attention to anything he was in. A sad loss.
To this day, I am still listening to ISIHAC on a nightly basis. He was the best! He also got the biggest laugh at "The Secret Policeman's Show" Where he performed "Top Hat." If I ever get the chance, I shall perfom this as a tribute to him.
Willie Rushton I found out he narrated half of the Railway series books by the Rev W awdry, he narrated the books from Edward the blue engine to Tramway engines. I think that he was a great narrator for the Railway Series, and if I'm not mistaken. I believe Willie also narrated the four Winnie the Pooh and Christopher Robin books written by AA Milne. I also did find an interview of Willie Rushton talking about Christopher Robin, Winnie the Pooh and the other characters from the Hundred Acre Wood. And the actual place that inspired the stories

@@obsoletearchive4201 also I hope you are a huge fan of Thomas the Tank Engine and the other characters from the island of Sodor, and I hope you are a Winnie the Pooh fan as well ? Because both Thomas and Winnie the Pooh originated from the UK, which was something that I never knew as a kid. And both franchises are part of my childhood, and they'll always be my favorites and I will never outgrow them. Sometimes because I will never outgrow them, I would sometimes go to a Day Out With Thomas event. And I would also go to the Disneyland Resort to the original theme park Disneyland itself, and go find Winnie the Pooh and some of the other characters from the Hundred Acre Wood. So I am not sure, Are you a Thomas and Winnie the Pooh fan ?

What a great voice he had. He'll always be remembered by me as the voice of Berk, Boni and Rogg from The Trap Door
Willie Rushton voiced all of the speaking characters in The Trap Door.
And let's not forget his fine work providing the voices in The Trap Door.

I didn't know he did those... I always remember him narrating "Trap Door" animation which was excellent.
