I got four piercings in the same day and I fainted after wards. It was quite fun and after the earrings got swallowed by my ears and I had to take them out. So now I only have regular ear holes.

fun fact: When I got my second piercings done, I thought it would be okay to take one of my piercings out to clean it like 2 days after it was done.
I basically had to repierce the earring through my ear and guess what…. I fainted, so there is my tip for fainting.
I think i remember getting it back in and being like, “thank God that’s over” and then i woke up on the floor.
i also have fained a few times (due to iron deficency) and fainting honestly doesn’r feel the worse unless you don’t wake up for like 10 min +.

Well done!!! Got my nose triple pierced in one summer and it really does get easier the more you do it, not to mention easier to heal once you’re used to the process. Hope you can get through any future piercings you might want as well :))
Fr!! I got my second set of lobes the same age as Faline and I was just as nervous as him. Fast forward 5 years and now I have a half sleeve of tattoos and 4 more piercings bc the pain gets easier and its super helpful to just be used to the process.

In my family, they make girls get their ears pierced at like age 5-6 so I've had them for almost 10 years now.
I feel like it's scarier getting them when you are older.
Still, you do have to be a little brave to get them, needles are quite scary.
Edit : Fainting is NOT fun. I have a haemoglobin deficiency so I have fainted a few times and it legit feels like you are about to die.
not only is it scarier, it's much more painful to get ears pierced at an older age because the skin becomes significantly tougher
fainting usually just feels like nothing for me, unless you're talking about the feeling before fainting. if so, i completely agree
i actually fainted when i got my nose piercing lmao, apparently my body doesnt like stuff poking thru skin, not fun

your piercer was honestly amazing for making sure that it was going to look the best and that you were going to be happy with it!!! also side note, be careful of cheap jewelry metals bc within a year of mine being pierced i had to completely stop wearing earrings (like wait for the piercing to fully close and heal before attempting to re pierce) bc it was so irritated :) it's typically fine for most people but be aware of that!!

i pierced myself at home, with the help of my mom (who was a professional piercer), and i can say that it doesn't really hurt if you do it quickly. the only major pain is the poking of the needle before actual piercing, and it's not helped by nerves. also, thank you for doing research, piercing guns are good in theory but not in practice; they are very difficult to sterilize, and sometimes don't go all the way through.
(also, i really don't recommend doing piercings at home unless you have help from people that know what they're doing. piercings can get infected very easily, all materials used have to be fully sterilized and you have to clean your piercing daily afterwards. the timespan for which you need to clean it daily varies depending on the piercing.)
(also... as someone who has a lot of health issues and has fainted multiple times before, it's like. you just feel nothing? everything goes black, then you just wake up on the floor, usually there's a lot of confusion. it's not fun, i have multiple scars from fainting and injuring myself, one of which i needed to get stitches for.)

I got my first piercing when I was six at Claire’s. THE WOMAN INFECTED MY EARS AND NOW THERES A SLIT. Anyways I’m gonna get a lobe and upper lobe ❤
I got mine done at Claire's with a piercing gun but luckily it did not get infected. It was done well too. Funnily enough the first time I got it when I was child, I think they used a needle but mine got infected cause the didn't sterilize the earrings properly. I had to wait eight years to get my ears repierced.
When I got my nose piercing, I was so afraid of how much it would hurt. My mom said that it wouldn't hurt much but my piercer was damn angry with someone. So he took the thickest needle he could find and without even sharpening it STABBED it into my nose. The reason why I relate to Faline is cause the piercer and the staff kept mentioning how thick my nose is for people my age and how if it hurt it was not their fault. But unfortunately, unlike brave Fal, I straight created a scene and cried hard after it was done. It hurts when the wrong person does it(piercings)

I have an industrial! Yes, it is painful, but it's manageable. If you have your septum pierced, amazing! It's way less painful than that! My septum piercing had me in tears, but my industrial was just normal pain. You'll be fine :)))

For your first piercing you did amazing have a good morning evening or night Faline also, As someone who faints consistently due to my vagus nerve being damaged it is not a good experience to faint and usually after you will feel exhausted and occasionally shaky😅 not sure if you were serious but if so just a little forewarning

They look good on you faline B), and about the pain thing, ear piercings hurt more the closer they’re to the cartilage (or basically the hard part of the ear), lobes are the less painful part to get them done

If you're curious about fainting... Your experience will always depend on the cause, your reaction, how long it took until you went unconscious, etc. Some people might feel terrified, like they're about to die, others might even like it because of the rush of different hormones. In my experience, it was just like catching myself after falling asleep, I felt nothing. In a lot of cases you won't be able to process what happened until after you wake up.

I have 17 piercings and I still get nervous getting pierced sometimes! I'm usually more excited now than anything. I have 9 lobe piercings and they are my least favorite to get! I felt like I was gonna pass out the last time I got 2. Cartilage ones are fine for me lmao. Good for you, Faline! It may take more than 3 months to heal... mine usually take 10-12 months.

Hehe, welcome to the piercing club! I got my earlobes pierced quite "late" in life too, I think I was 15? Then I got snake bites and three more ear piercings just after my 18th birthday. I may or may not be planning on getting more
