Main changes from 6 months ago (previous guide): No more gauntlet / tournament tabs. Rotation is more than once a year (next one is in August). After August, Standard and Eternal ranked Queue's will alternate (Only 1 will be open at a time), finally the challenges tab has been heavily reduced and I recommend completing all of them when you start the game so you can do your prologue missions! Other than that, if you're seeing this guide series for the first time I hope I helped breakdown the tutorial, explained the menus well, taught you how to import/craft decks, and gave some good quick tips on how to optimize XP for card collecting! As always drop a Sub if you're new and a Like for the Algorithm! It helps other new players see this video! I appreciate you 🔥
Was there ever an explanation for the reduction of challenges. It seems like an conflicting decisions. As their whole point was to educate and engage new players, getting them into the game. There might be a ton of mechanics or systems many new players might be confused about. Lack of understanding of the games systems and mechanics may serve to discourage new players pushing them away.
@@PyroAquaVentusDragon There wasn't a direct explanation and I also found it kind of weird. I think it's to simplify the new-player experience cause there was admittedly way too many challenges, but I'm not entirely sure
Awesome content, subbed! I am a long-lost Runeterra player returning since there have been a raft of changes and the game is almost unrecognizable. Really appreciate the insights and guidance, definitely will be sticking close to your channel. Do you think the near-term focus on PoC is good for the health of the game? I feel perhaps with Arcane and the recent increased mainstream presence of League that new players will come in, but it would be a shame to lose PvP entirely, or even new sets going forward. Cheers!
I appreciate it! I think the focus is good. Hopefully when the focus doesn't "need" to be in certain places and everything is being handled equally, then it'll be awesome and I think they're working towards that tbh. They've mentioned that they're not abandoning pvp at the very least
New player here...found your channel..was immensely helpful..your earned a sub and a like. I plan on sticking to completing all the A.I. and PoC stuff before hitting PvP...is it okay?
I am thinking about starting to play the game, but after some research, I found that the PvP is kind of dying. I really enjoy PvP in games like this, so what’s your opinion? Should I give it a chance, and what is the current status of PvP?
PvP is active, just not quite as active as it used to be. Queues are still fast though. Less major content creators are making content for the game since the day that Riot announced that the main focus will be on PvE. But PvP will still be supported with ranked rotations and small card sets here and there. I'd recommend starting with one of TempoMaou's budget spider aggro decks as your first deck to build (since they're very cheap), that's what I started with when I was a new player, and it will always be a pretty decent deck regardless of the meta. I'd say give it a try. Look at the runeterra ar page and see if there are any meta decks that look appealing to you, and then build that deck as you play. If you play a few games everyday, you should have a lot of resources for decks in just a couple of months. But if you play for a few hrs every day to juice up your weekly vault, you can build new decks basically each week. (first comment was deleted for some reason)
I played for a year or so when this first came out and i followed a streamer i think Megamogwai or something like that. I hvae been looking to get back in but i saw the devs video talking about ranked. Is the competitive side even worth it? I dont mind path of champions but i loved the tournaments and gauntlets.
Tournaments and gauntlets have been removed, but the ranked ladder is still up. There are also community led tournaments that riot themselves appreciate and have said they want to help support. So that’s cool at least

Thanks for the Tips, I'm excited for the future of LoR, and I hope more people come and learn the wonders of this game

Yep! You're rewarded for doing ai and poc with lots of resources to help your transition into pvp. Thank you for joining!
Good guide
I just started and am only playing Path of Champions. I can't see Emporium. Do I need to finish all the tutorials to see it?

Advice play jinx
Yo nilah/janna still good?
It got some new cards from the expansion and is chillin at 51% wr right now so I'd say it's still good, especially if you main / 1 trick it!
