Just found Olights around June of last year, and now I've got so many I don't know what to do with them all! But they are great lights, and their sales are awesome. True, this one does not have a 'moonlight' mode, but that is not what this light was made for. Plenty of others in their lineup that have those features. This is more of a hunting/search light. I've got the Warrior X and I have been impressed with its beam, but it is not a light I use in my house. If it doesn't have the features you're looking for, take a look at their other lights. I'm sure there is something that will fill your need. And thanks, Sootch, for a great review.
Olight - the best thing coming out of China. My favorite EDC model: I3T EOS in FDE/Desert. Thin, powerful and simple. No delay or wondering what mode you’re in. Ordered the Warrior X Pro bundle in same color. It will probably sit on the night stand while the I 3T EOS does all the work.

I have a ton of lights and many throwers but have been giving my OD green Warrior X Pro some love this week. This was my first thrower and my 2nd or 3rd Olight. The 300 lumen has ridiculous run time and the flood is good for the yard with late night potty trips for the dogs.
I tested mine living in San Diego as a security guard. I shined it at night from the street to the tops of buildings and it illuminates the entire sides of the buildings. And I've used it to deter angry drunks and aggressors. A strong light works incredibly well without being as aggressive as pepper spray, a taser, or a baton, etc. Love my Olights!
I own 3 O lights. Stryker M2R for weapons light, warrior for my work light and a baton something for around the house. I’ve used my warrior every day for a year to look into narrow deep holes I dig at work. I use it so much I go through 3-4 battery charges a day. I highly recommend them.
I had to pick up one of these. It should be here next week. The output and simplicity of operation make it great for what I need. I am replacing an older Armytek Predator Pro that puts out about 1,400 lumens and throws maybe 440m. With the increased output and throw along with longer runtimes, I feel it will be a worthy upgrade. Plus the light looks amazing in different color schemes. I really like how you can get to turbo without doing double clicks like some flashlights.
The 21700 batt is a proprietary design. You CANNOT go out and buy a 21700 Batt, from lets say a vape shop, and have it work. Nor can you buy a 21700 Lio Batt charger and have it work..the Batt is to long. The Batt MUST be charged in the flashlight.
Kenneth Rich Totally. Not. True. Many places online sell 21700 cells (both the protected and the unprotected variants), chargers that accommodate those cells, and even the Olight 21700 cell will charge in chargers that have charging bays big enough to accommodate them. The lumens and throw are nice but only having them for 2 minutes kinda hurts. I have several Olights and I really like them and love their customer service but I feel like the manufacturing and marketing is kinda off. Personally I’d be focusing on making a 1400 lumen 500 meter throw that lasts for 30 minutes. Marketing the current product I’d push it as a 1000 lumen 400 meter throw with a 30 minute run time with a turbo mode of 2000 lumen 600 meter throw in case of emergency. Imo with only having a 2 minute run time with 2000 lumens it shouldn’t be marketed as a 2000 lumen light.

My camo M2R Pro, which has been sent back to China for repair 1-2-20(won't be back for 1-2 more months), will be my last proprietary ONLY light.
Well the 21700 model definitely isn’t proprietary, just less common than the 18650. Hard to tell whether it is a flat top or not though. They only mention “customized” which could just be referring to their name on the battery. Curious myself if a standard 21700 battery will work.

Yup, it's stupid, marketing gimmick
Even though I own 20 Olights, I will never purchase a light that will ONLY function with a $27 proprietary battery. Then in a couple years that battery will be $35-$40, no thanks.
Curious myself if a standard 21700 battery will work.
snakeradish they never do in olights
At 6:56 just look at all the chemtrail particles coming down from the sky.
It's okay. Your aluminum foil hat will protect you!
Do the comments about "o" LIGHT that are negative get deleted or is constructive criticisms accepted? O light's customer service from GA is absolutely the worst....experiences will vary, but come on....
I like how these reviewers want to tell you how much better a propietary charger is when compared to a universal USB-C or Micro USB cable. These paid youtubers are full of shit.
Maybe shine that into Virginia's Gov Northam's eyes to help him see better.
