Found it, Causality Effect, its a bit broken it seems but its all in the custom weapons rather than the gameplay, it has multiple endings based on what you let happen.
I want a mod where the combine successfully diverts Freeman to Nova Prospekt, then proceeds to torture him to death because he won't speak and doesn't know anything about the rebellion.

Basically, Barney fails to stop Gordon getting on the damn train and you take control of a resistance fighter who has to fight his way across a speeding train to free him. It is kind of a comedy mod since the player character keeps cracking oneliners.

I mean plenty of people would rather do this than go around, its not that strange. also alyx has a lot of almost karate like attacks on enemies up close

Alyx died a tragic death, Freeman’s teleportation was a neat success, no combine was led to the rebels HQ, Freeman united the free people, a coup was carefully orchestrated to take down the combine with minimal casualties on both sides, Gman wasn’t happy since no war and chaos, Humanity’s coup on Combine was a success, but Gman interfered to “stir up the hive”, remaining combine and humanity finally realized their true enemy which is Gman and his employers at Valve, Humanity and Combine teamed up to beat Gman and break out of the video game, succeeded, real life humanity got to utilize Combine technologies in peace and prosperity, all the worlds futuristic powers were spend on making a Half Life 3, but this time called Full Life 3 instead and is just about happy people and animals living happily on an island together. Animal Crossing is Half Life 3 confirmed
So theoretically, this could’ve happened and since gman abducted alyx in the end of HL:A this could be why he did it… “As a consequence to your actions you as an entity will no longer…… go on”
Imagine Gman went "Not to imply you've been...sleeping on the job, so go back to sleep. Sorry, I brought you out of stasis way too soon" and the credits just roll.
I find it actually fascinating how so many people's instincts is to put items in front of Alyx's pathfinding. I wonder if Valve noticed people doing that in playtesting and had to do something to fix any problems from it.
They did actually. NPCs will teleport to where they need to be to complete dialogue or other mission tasks if their path is blocked. It's actually a part of the speedrun.
My expectation was that this would be like mini version of each notable part of Half Life 2. Maybe one single road with 3 zombies to represent the entirety of Ravenholm before immediately moving into the beach of Nova Prospekt for a short map and then immediately city 17 and etc.
Well, basically if Alyx fall and break her neck dying right after, Freeman would take a while to find out that the soda machine is a secret passage and would manage to teleport without fail, just like Alyx did before the headcrab screw up the teleportation system. That way Morgan wouldn't have to pass through so many things in the game.

I thought it was gonna be, the teleporter worked correctly and Gordon didn't have to go through Ravenholme Both of those were major detours from the intended path xD
I was on the edge of my seat waiting to somehow be teleported to the end or something, or to Eli's lab. This is better. Half-Life: 2 Short is the best mod ever made.

I was expecting Alyx to open the door at the end and there being a hundred combine. Turns out she worked for the combine to lead you into a trap.
