Really amazing! It captures that beautiful despair feeling that the original has perfectly. On a side note the background makes me wonder how the transition between lost Shinjuku and modern Shinjuku would have been for the people living in a dying world, like imagine tree roots slowly climbing up your house, trapping you inside to starve to never see light again and you have to accept it because it's for the sake of the world. That's a wild thought
As a kid, I never got past the second stratum. Actually playing this as an adult- I thought this was just a typical fantasy dungeon crawler Floor 21 was a big shocker for me xD
Amazing job on the remaster! I'm so excited for a whole new generation of players to try EO1 thanks to the HD collection and be swept off their feet by Lost Shinjuku again.
