Beastcraft 'remove a preffix add a suffix' (if item doesn't have a pref just craft whatever pref) and hope for another good suffix (BIS all attributes or all res) 4. Craft suffixes cannot be changed and reforge chaos with harvest bench hoping for a good tier of chaos res (if low tier repeat) 5. Beastcraft suffixes cannot be changed (This time you can use beastcraft because suffixes are full and suffixes cannot be changed is guaranteed) 6. Reforge life in harvest bench hoping for high tier life 7. Hunter slam hoping for gain # life when you hit an enemy (any tier is great tbh) The worst odds are in step 7, 1 in 5 because of weights (I failed 2) If you don't wanna repeat all the proces with a new ring for a failed hunter slam, you can keep trying with the same hunter influenced ring by beastcrafting suffixes cannot be changed and reforging life (10% chance to get the gain # life), but forget about a high tier life pref, you'll end up crafting life in the bench or -# to cost of skills.
If you fail the hunter slam then presumably all your affixes are filled, no? How can you keep trying by beastcrafting if all suffixes and prefix are filled? I think you would need to yolo Annul hoping to remove a prefix and then do what you say. Or did I get that wrong? I'm not super advanced on crafting

(not corrupted, also its mana as well) Literally negative regen. It happens most often if I take 1 or 2 altars. Its kinda bricked my farm because I run altars on all my Atlas'. My friend has the same problem. I cant flask out, (when I had a flask) and I added Vitality and still nothing. Any clue where I should look? My DPS is really good now and I have 1350 Str and bought a Rakiata's and made 3 clusters. Just cant....live. for ALL that dont get the pob damage conner is talking about, you need to config in SKILLS your molten strike count to - number of balls in calc tab times 2 from return projs, this will show you the real damage of the zenith hit .
Started Ben's 2h LS in ssf this league and gearing for this kind of zenith. Fun crafting and a hell of a lot of farming ahead still. Great project build!
Thanks for the video. I appreciate it. Currently at ~25Mdps, definitely higher than what I'm used to as well as the health. My main character from Affliction, Boneshatter build with a Mageblood can't even compare... Still learning the game for sure though and this build has made some things more apparent to me for melee.
If you put a massive thread of hope in near iron will you can get heart of warrior, versatility, +2 max res, another 0,2m melee strike range and a str/int node. Especially if you dont have that big simplex amulet yet and are int starved, this helps a lot.
For the three door problem your thinking monte hall problem and its actually the opposite . For anybody who doesn't know there is a problem where on a game show your asked to pick 3 doors 2 are worthless and 1 has a car or something , the probability of getting the door you want is 1/3 . Now the game show hosts opens a door and others you the choice to swap , in that open door the prize is worthless which leaves 2 unopened door now the probability of the door your on is still 1/3 but when given the option to switch you should because the probability for that door with the new information is actually 2/3 now .
No, you still make a pick when you choose to ramain with the same door. The chance is 50/50 eitherway. The 1st pick from 3 doors has no bearing on the probability of the 2nd from 2 doors, as both are seperate discreet events. When you flip 3 coins, the probability for all of them to be heads or tails is 1/8. If the first 2 coins are heads, that does not mean the third coin is more likely to be tails. It is still 50/50. Edit: Nvm, those aren't, infact, separate events. The host actually knows what door to open so the result is already determined. There is no actual unbiased probability, it is fucking rigged from the start!

The door that remains unopened is always going to have the opposite outcome as the door you previously selected due to the fact the game host always opens a bad door. - 1/3 to pick the correct door. In that case 2 bad doors remain and the unopened door is always going to be a goat -2/3 to pick a baddoor. In that case 1 good and 1 bad door remains. The host eliminates the wrong one and only the right one remains so if you flip the door, you get a bad outcome in the first case, with 1/3 probability and a good outcome in the second with 2/3 probability. Hello Conner, Could you please explain about the 76% less multiplier in POB? Every fifth is roughly 80% less. Also could you please explain about the multistrike? Why do you use it, since it does not count towards the hits, so with, say, 9 APS we gain 10x damage explosions once in 1.66 seconds. Even worse with awakened.
Stuck with a budget version of this build as I am just not getting a lot of currency, but I added Petrified Blood into my setup, and that has helped a lot with taking bigger hits. Still have pretty bad dps, need to get super lucky and find a replica alberons in heist, def can't afford one.
I might have missed something, but I just re-relloed for this build yesterday and self-crafted most of the gear to be similar to the one you were using in the last video, but in the POB it shows ~13M DPS on my side, when you were at ~160M, with the same config, even tried to swap my gear with yours to see if there was an issue, still well over 100M DPS on your side. I surely missed something, the build feels strong, but not to the point of 100M+DPS when Zenith procs. If anyone want to investigate, it would be very welcome ! For even more quant you can Vaal them and use Twist of Fate on the atlas tree. It rerolls the map+mods and adds another 1-3 mods. I never tried this on T17s, but I dont see why it shouldnt work for them aswell. The downside is that you cant choose which T17 you get
I'm really struggling to get as much out of the build as you're getting, I got a mageblood and I'm saving up for the simplex yet I only have around 30 ish mil dps and I'm not tanky at all, still dying every few simulacrums. I've compared pobs so many times but I really can't see where the big differences are.
Check "count" in skills tab. Should be to the right of the check "Enabled" in row with molten strike. He have 24 in his pob (12 proj * 2 for whatever reason)

I wanna say that the absolute easiest way to get over 250quant is with those scarabs and a corrupted map using the Twist of fate keystone. I think i've hit 290% quant on a t12. Full atlas for map effect.
I've been using lightning strike in T17 maps and as long as you're not running a map with a million rares you basically offscreen everything. It's pretty nice. You do have to swap back for boss though, the single target is pretty meh.
If you're curious about why your odds are 1:3 rather than 50/50, think about it this way. The game has to "pick" one of the three mods to be "different" this is the mod that will be positive when the other two are negative and vis a versa, you need it to pick your crafted mod, so 1 in 3.
this is actually wrong, the real chance of hitting reverse craft mod in minus and two stat mods in plus is 1/4. However if you count in that tripple positive outcome is good too - it is 50/50.
Hey conner, new sub here.. I'm a bit of a melee noob whos been following your build this league! It's actually my first melee character in my 2000 hours. I was wondering if you could make a quick video showing how to actually PLAY the build? I'm in the 30 div range and still just explode alot of the time.... and I'm pretty sure at this point its just a major skill issue. Hey Connor, love the build so far, just wanted to ask what is making your build so tanky? Ive got a original sin setup atm, the damage is okay, still not as high as yours because of the proj speed and not enough strength i guess, but my survivability is so low that i might aswell just play 1k HP bow char. I do have all the auras, flasks 86% res, end charges.
Do you have life gain on hit? Either a hunter ring prefix, Vitality Watcher's Eye or a Circle of Life anoint on your amulet. It makes a huge difference for survivability
Can someone please explain how in his POB he has 9% mana unreserved? I can't figure it out... I have the same skills but I can't have all 3 auras active
Damn, wanted to roll this build, trying to buy the stuff, and realised my main already can do all of that but it costed me like 100 div and not 700, i'm too broke can't even buy half the stuff, is it inflation ? Or its normal prices ? Just the chaos boots cost like 80% of my main's build
A bit of both, replica alberon are always expensive, but when there's a popular build guide by any content creator there will be price fixing and overall high demand for the stuff. I'm on a similar situation where my bleed retaliation glad took down all ubers and tanks t17 better than the version I could put together with around 80 divs, but the gear for the glad I don't think costed ne above 30 divines to craft whole. The glad doesn't have the damage scaling this one does though but Connor always makes it clear that these builds are for uber endgame and extremely high investment.
I got to the suffixes can't be changed step with just the harvest reforge life and it bricked the craft by filling with two garbage mods. The annul wiped out the STR, so I need to go again. I told someonee in global about it and they decided to reforge life on their own ring at the same step, dude got 90 life, then hit the hunter slam for max life on hit. I was very happy for him, but my FOMO was nuts.
Thanks for the video- I am kinda new to this game and figuring out PoB and character development. I think it shows in PoB you are ailment immune, how are you getting immunities? Or am I reading PoB wrong- which is 100% possible.
How to incorporate Mageblood? I hit 100 and have some nice gear, now I dropped a MB. I barely topped 2K str, and losing 18% str from my belt to add MB seems bad (?). Need some advice from the guru!
It's too slow imo. Better off with a reaver sword with crafted attack speed and literally no other mods. The 60% global accuracy is too big to lose. If you are looking for a bridge to the good sword even a raver with one woe essence and open suffix is better than the maven sword
I’m curious, what would be like top-end gear for this build? Just adding Original Sin and Mageblood? Would it be better to go with Headhunter or Mageblood? Relatively new to build and just trying to figure things out.

How do you survive the ball lightnings from lightning protectors in t17s? everytime they are in my maps I die 3-4 times at least to them. I have 85% max lightning res and 185k max lightning hit with flask up. Should I just invest more in max lightning res or should I go for a melding to max out all my max res? Great build btw.
It's almost all life on hit with fuck tons of hits. I think he prob does well over 30 per ball+his sword x4 because he has 3 additional strikes. That's a lot especially when he does like 10 attack per second at least.
@@higuyonfire mh i am not sure. "players cannot regen life", is not affecting us. As u said we sustain with gain on hit. But i am pretty sure "X% less recovery" which will often sum up to nearly 100% or even over 100% because every farming strat takes explizit map modifiers increased. So i am pretty sure our life gain on hit will be reduced to zero and we just die to blood rage degen.
@@fkbf161 you're right he cant, less recovery means ure not gaining any health and while its possible to run it in some maps, most of the time is either annoying or map is bricked
@@fkbf161 There isn't, and never was, a "Less life recovery" mod on T17s or other maps, it was "Less recovery RATE of life", which only affects recovery happening over time, such as regen and leech. Life on hit is never negated or reduced by map mods because it's instant.
hey, I crafted an endurance charge on melee stun / shaper more dmg sword with unveiled double damage and bench 3mod for attack speed and chaos pen. Is this good enough to rune enchant or should i craft a better sword first?
Yep reforge speed with locked prefixes then slam 2nd suffix then craft focus double dmg then it's done. You could block attack slam the 2nd suffix I think with those mods to try getting str or endurance charge

I found the answer. In case someone is interested: it's just that our chaos damage min is very low (check alberon's boots) and then Volatility has a low negative impact.

I missed a couple times, got tilted tilted and just rolled the hunter ring with rage essences and I got a really nice ring. But I don’t recommend it lol
How do you deal with Altars? Ive been dying in T16 if I try to push too many altars. First I was running Searing Exarch. I died to the chaos damage per flask mod a lot of times ( have a mageblood). Also died to Fire Resistance being lowered. Then I tried switching to Eater of Worlds and increased my Resistance to play around altar penalties ( I have 130+ all res immune to curses) . Still dying to the altar that gives less regen per endurance charge. I feel like the build will not be able to handle super juiced content like I imagined. I am not 100% geared like Steve but I put around 2-3 mirrors already and The only big defensive layer Im missing is the sublime vision purity of fire.
Do you have life on hit mods? That could be a solution to the less regen per endurance charge. I might be misremembering but I think he has a whole section of one of the videos about this build talking about life on hit.
It might be a huge damage loss but you could try to work Tainted Pact into your build if you want to run the Chaos damage per flask Searing Exarch altar mod
i got 5 different, not the same name, split mirrored simplex amus but if i put them in the vendor window looks like i dont get a clean simplex back. something i'm missing?

What are you guys farming on your atlas tree? My characters not nearly as juiced as Conner's. I just made the switch to Alberonn's and am currently saving up for the projectiles enchant. I was doing strongbox farming, but am willing to try something new.

Lasts for 5 seconds after everything’s dead. Please can someone help, I can’t farm or level up because of this. It’s not Corrupted blood. I have the passive.
your probably taking reduced recovery rate per endurance charge, seeing as how juggs stacks endurance charges it pretty much bricks any life and mana leech.

@@HuhWhatHuhwhatHuh You were talking about Eldritch altar mods, not passive tree points. (10-20)% reduced Recovery Rate of Life, Mana and Energy Shield per Endurance Charge is an Eater altar downside. Don't pick it when running maps.
Because str damage bonus by default only applies to physical damage. You get around that with crown of eyes and iron will since that turns your str increase damage into generic spell damage, which is in turn applied to attacks by the helmet.
How are you getting life back on less recovery rate of life/energy shield maps? I was finding that it was disabling my life gain on hit for some reason whenever I would try to run them.

The same thing happens if I take the endurance charge eater altar mod that gives reduced recovery rate. I wonder if it's because my source is vitality watchers eye instead of warlord mod on ring?

Mine life gain on hit is using the hunter influenced ring + kalandra's touch just like Conner's, and I feel its ok recovery when I run no leech and less recovery maps.

Been planning to swap to a hunter influenced helical but have honestly just been too lazy to since i've been trying to focus farm towards original sin.
Yes guys, this build is heavily based on life per hit and leech from helmet which are considered recovery type. The reason that you cant gain hp when the t17 map with - recovery is bcs the map modifiers makes it 100+ from 60%. Regeneration is regen, recovery is leech, gain on hit.
I have a theory that the life gain on hit is far more than his leech, each strike shoots effectively 22 proj that hit, that's 22 hits times his attacks per second (6 I believe) times his life on hit... So ten life on hit would give him 1300 life per sec, if he can get up around 40 life per hit that's pushing 5k per second. Seems good if I'm right now sure if I am tho.

Intuitive Reasoning:
When you first pick a door, there’s a high chance (2/3) that you chose a goat. The host’s action gives you more information, and since the host always eliminates one losing option, switching leverages that information, increasing your chances of winning to 2/3.
@@ruslantsokov1424 They are not independent events at all. The door that remains unopened is always going to have the opposite outcome as the door you previously selected due to the fact the game host always opens a bad door.
- 1/3 to pick the correct door. In that case 2 bad doors remain and the unopened door is always going to be a goat
-2/3 to pick a baddoor. In that case 1 good and 1 bad door remains. The host eliminates the wrong one and only the right one remains
so if you flip the door, you get a bad outcome in the first case, with 1/3 probability and a good outcome in the second with 2/3 probability.
The outcome depends totally on what you pick the first time, which is the opposite of what you said.
It's 2/3 to win the game from the start if you are allowed to pick a door and get it wrong then pick again.
But just from the position where you have 1 door opened and 2 unopened, and the winning door is either of the two unopened, its 50/50 from this position. You already used one of your guesses and got unlucky where you could have gotten lucky on the first door.
In other words, you are wrong. and this problem is always worded terribly and people just accept random conclusions from it because they think it must have a logically confusing answer because its a famous problem. And this problem somehow always mutates a little every time, and people carry over conclusions despite the mutations. No, getting offered a random choice to switch doesn't increase your odds, that conclusion is only reached on other versions of the problem where the door is revealed then offered a switch.

Could you please explain about the 76% less multiplier in POB? Every fifth is roughly 80% less.
Also could you please explain about the multistrike? Why do you use it, since it does not count towards the hits, so with, say, 9 APS we gain 10x damage explosions once in 1.66 seconds. Even worse with awakened.
Super late response but the small hits still do 1/20th the dmg roughly so 20% 1% 1% 1% 1% for your 5 hits if you select zenith hit

Stuck with a budget version of this build as I am just not getting a lot of currency, but I added Petrified Blood into my setup, and that has helped a lot with taking bigger hits. Still have pretty bad dps, need to get super lucky and find a replica alberons in heist, def can't afford one.

I might have missed something, but I just re-relloed for this build yesterday and self-crafted most of the gear to be similar to the one you were using in the last video, but in the POB it shows ~13M DPS on my side, when you were at ~160M, with the same config, even tried to swap my gear with yours to see if there was an issue, still well over 100M DPS on your side.
I surely missed something, the build feels strong, but not to the point of 100M+DPS when Zenith procs.
If anyone want to investigate, it would be very welcome !

For even more quant you can Vaal them and use Twist of Fate on the atlas tree. It rerolls the map+mods and adds another 1-3 mods.
I never tried this on T17s, but I dont see why it shouldnt work for them aswell.

I'm really struggling to get as much out of the build as you're getting, I got a mageblood and I'm saving up for the simplex yet I only have around 30 ish mil dps and I'm not tanky at all, still dying every few simulacrums. I've compared pobs so many times but I really can't see where the big differences are.
Check "count" in skills tab. Should be to the right of the check "Enabled" in row with molten strike. He have 24 in his pob (12 proj * 2 for whatever reason)

0-6 on the hunter exalt slam for the ring. BRUTAL
I wanna say that the absolute easiest way to get over 250quant is with those scarabs and a corrupted map using the Twist of fate keystone. I think i've hit 290% quant on a t12. Full atlas for map effect.
I've been using lightning strike in T17 maps and as long as you're not running a map with a million rares you basically offscreen everything. It's pretty nice. You do have to swap back for boss though, the single target is pretty meh.

If you're curious about why your odds are 1:3 rather than 50/50, think about it this way.
The game has to "pick" one of the three mods to be "different" this is the mod that will be positive when the other two are negative and vis a versa, you need it to pick your crafted mod, so 1 in 3.
this is actually wrong, the real chance of hitting reverse craft mod in minus and two stat mods in plus is 1/4. However if you count in that tripple positive outcome is good too - it is 50/50.
Hey conner, new sub here.. I'm a bit of a melee noob whos been following your build this league! It's actually my first melee character in my 2000 hours. I was wondering if you could make a quick video showing how to actually PLAY the build? I'm in the 30 div range and still just explode alot of the time.... and I'm pretty sure at this point its just a major skill issue. There is no need to waste money if it doesn't work. after all Progenesis is not cheapest flask in game.
Hey Connor, love the build so far, just wanted to ask what is making your build so tanky? Ive got a original sin setup atm, the damage is okay, still not as high as yours because of the proj speed and not enough strength i guess, but my survivability is so low that i might aswell just play 1k HP bow char. I do have all the auras, flasks 86% res, end charges.
Do you have life gain on hit? Either a hunter ring prefix, Vitality Watcher's Eye or a Circle of Life anoint on your amulet. It makes a huge difference for survivability

Damn, wanted to roll this build, trying to buy the stuff, and realised my main already can do all of that but it costed me like 100 div and not 700, i'm too broke can't even buy half the stuff, is it inflation ? Or its normal prices ? Just the chaos boots cost like 80% of my main's build
A bit of both, replica alberon are always expensive, but when there's a popular build guide by any content creator there will be price fixing and overall high demand for the stuff. I'm on a similar situation where my bleed retaliation glad took down all ubers and tanks t17 better than the version I could put together with around 80 divs, but the gear for the glad I don't think costed ne above 30 divines to craft whole. The glad doesn't have the damage scaling this one does though but Connor always makes it clear that these builds are for uber endgame and extremely high investment.
I got to the suffixes can't be changed step with just the harvest reforge life and it bricked the craft by filling with two garbage mods. The annul wiped out the STR, so I need to go again. I told someonee in global about it and they decided to reforge life on their own ring at the same step, dude got 90 life, then hit the hunter slam for max life on hit. I was very happy for him, but my FOMO was nuts.
Thanks for the video- I am kinda new to this game and figuring out PoB and character development. I think it shows in PoB you are ailment immune, how are you getting immunities? Or am I reading PoB wrong- which is 100% possible.

It's too slow imo. Better off with a reaver sword with crafted attack speed and literally no other mods. The 60% global accuracy is too big to lose. If you are looking for a bridge to the good sword even a raver with one woe essence and open suffix is better than the maven sword

How do you survive the ball lightnings from lightning protectors in t17s? everytime they are in my maps I die 3-4 times at least to them. I have 85% max lightning res and 185k max lightning hit with flask up. Should I just invest more in max lightning res or should I go for a melding to max out all my max res? Great build btw.
How can you run all mods? Especially players have X% less recovery?
It's almost all life on hit with fuck tons of hits. I think he prob does well over 30 per ball+his sword x4 because he has 3 additional strikes. That's a lot especially when he does like 10 attack per second at least.
@@higuyonfire mh i am not sure. "players cannot regen life", is not affecting us. As u said we sustain with gain on hit. But i am pretty sure "X% less recovery" which will often sum up to nearly 100% or even over 100% because every farming strat takes explizit map modifiers increased. So i am pretty sure our life gain on hit will be reduced to zero and we just die to blood rage degen.
@@fkbf161 you're right he cant, less recovery means ure not gaining any health and while its possible to run it in some maps, most of the time is either annoying or map is bricked
@@fkbf161 There isn't, and never was, a "Less life recovery" mod on T17s or other maps, it was "Less recovery RATE of life", which only affects recovery happening over time, such as regen and leech. Life on hit is never negated or reduced by map mods because it's instant.

hey, I crafted an endurance charge on melee stun / shaper more dmg sword with unveiled double damage and bench 3mod for attack speed and chaos pen. Is this good enough to rune enchant or should i craft a better sword first?
Yep reforge speed with locked prefixes then slam 2nd suffix then craft focus double dmg then it's done. You could block attack slam the 2nd suffix I think with those mods to try getting str or endurance charge

I found the answer. In case someone is interested: it's just that our chaos damage min is very low (check alberon's boots) and then Volatility has a low negative impact.

hello, what are you doing to farm currency for this build?
How do you deal with Altars? Ive been dying in T16 if I try to push too many altars. First I was running Searing Exarch. I died to the chaos damage per flask mod a lot of times ( have a mageblood). Also died to Fire Resistance being lowered. Then I tried switching to Eater of Worlds and increased my Resistance to play around altar penalties ( I have 130+ all res immune to curses) . Still dying to the altar that gives less regen per endurance charge. I feel like the build will not be able to handle super juiced content like I imagined. I am not 100% geared like Steve but I put around 2-3 mirrors already and The only big defensive layer Im missing is the sublime vision purity of fire.
Do you have life on hit mods? That could be a solution to the less regen per endurance charge. I might be misremembering but I think he has a whole section of one of the videos about this build talking about life on hit.
It might be a huge damage loss but you could try to work Tainted Pact into your build if you want to run the Chaos damage per flask Searing Exarch altar mod
Any reason why you go Purity of Fire here? Is it simply just to free up suffixes and make it easier to cap Ele Res?

Hey Connor, guys. I have a question me and my friend can’t figure out. When I take alters, I’m early game, my life leaks away and stops regen, mana regen ceases as well. Lasts for 5 seconds after everything’s dead. Please can someone help, I can’t farm or level up because of this. It’s not Corrupted blood. I have the passive.
your probably taking reduced recovery rate per endurance charge, seeing as how juggs stacks endurance charges it pretty much bricks any life and mana leech.

Question. Why are you not taking Iron Grip? The wiki says the strength bonus applies to Molten Strike projectiles. Is it wrong or outdated?
Because str damage bonus by default only applies to physical damage. You get around that with crown of eyes and iron will since that turns your str increase damage into generic spell damage, which is in turn applied to attacks by the helmet.
How are you getting life back on less recovery rate of life/energy shield maps? I was finding that it was disabling my life gain on hit for some reason whenever I would try to run them.
Life gain on hit is not recovery; it's probably something else on the map mods that affects you.

The same thing happens if I take the endurance charge eater altar mod that gives reduced recovery rate. I wonder if it's because my source is vitality watchers eye instead of warlord mod on ring?

Been planning to swap to a hunter influenced helical but have honestly just been too lazy to since i've been trying to focus farm towards original sin.
Yes guys, this build is heavily based on life per hit and leech from helmet which are considered recovery type. The reason that you cant gain hp when the t17 map with - recovery is bcs the map modifiers makes it 100+ from 60%. Regeneration is regen, recovery is leech, gain on hit.
And were molten strike of zenith?
how important is that lifegain on hit on the ring? wont you have enough sustain through leech?
I have a theory that the life gain on hit is far more than his leech, each strike shoots effectively 22 proj that hit, that's 22 hits times his attacks per second (6 I believe) times his life on hit... So ten life on hit would give him 1300 life per sec, if he can get up around 40 life per hit that's pushing 5k per second. Seems good if I'm right now sure if I am tho.
