My go-to brand for gents & gift knives is Finch. Great range of styles and colours - most are 3 inch or smaller. Good materials and build quality. Really good for 'non-knife' people as their designs are more traditional than tactical and the colour options improve their appeal. All of my gents/suit/office blades are Finch - I have five that I rotate. Final benefit is that they aren't too expensive. You will find something you like for between US$100 to US$150. On the flip side, if I want an MKM or a Lionsteel here I am pretty much assured to pay it more (sometimes substantially more....) than you and your customers do in the U.S. ......... Strange world!!
Using the Sharp Maker, you must get the Ultra Fine sticks, pay the money and get them. You can use them instead of striping, they will take a sharp edge to razor sharp, shaving sharp, even the better steels will improve in just a couple of swipes. If you can slice a loaf of bread, then you can learn to use a Sharp maker. Best advice is to us the ultra fine sticks often, just like you would striping, they have the red ends painted on them to keep them separate from the fine sticks.
My wife and daughters carry various knives when working on the farm or in the woods, including neck knives, sheath knives, and folders. But apparently, some women's clothes they wear when dressing up don't have pockets. So they are looking for a way to carry discreetly, not a neck knife, but maybe something tucked in a waistband, so it must be slim and comfortable against the skin. Any ideas or other carry options we're not considering?

Thank you and best wishes, the channel has brought my lady and I closer in our shared appreciation of knives. Somehow, 2 years of Knifecenter videos have brought her up to speed with my lifelong passion.

Hey hey DCA, I'm looking for a very specific type of small game knife. Slip joint or non locking, finger choil (for safety), and the best steel for down and dirty work. Preferably under $100. Up to the challenge?
Several years ago I purchased three tops knives . They were the Hawkes hellions . I know they are hard to find now and was curious to know if they have gone up in value ? Also , any knives come to mind which have appreciated in value over the years ? Thanks and keep up the great work !
Hi All from Western Australia 🇦🇺. I use a victorinox ranger for work along side a fallkniven Alx. My biggest problem is trying to keep it clean the ranger clean and free of dust and dirt and glueing up the locking blade. What is the best option for cleaning it all and what lubricant is best to apply. Congratulations on 300,000 subs. Thanks from Land of that's not a knife
Hi DCA, I recently lost my edc knife(benchmade north fork). I have also discovered a love for hunting. Can you suggest a finger safe edc folder and complimentary fixed blade to cover the task of field dressing animals, big and small? $400 combined budget. Thank you for your fun and informative videos.
Knife AQ Question: Hey DCA, Let's have a conversation on lube....whats the best lubricant for bearings vs washers? What are some good food safe options and where does grease come into play? Thanks in advance!
When you put a sharpmaker or gauntlet in the kitchen its for ease and a quick buff on the edge. Like a butcher processing meat they frequently buff up the edge of their knives. What rod do you leave in the sharpmaker? Is it the ceramic for a quick polish or something more coarse to shave metal? I suppose you just leave it out assembled and slice at it now and again? I can't maintain an angle on a stone. The sharpmaker has greatly improved my edges!
Hey thanks for review guys, always a pleasure. My question is regarding sharpeners and if you could talk about the HORL diamond standard sharpener and what you think of them? Thanks
The LegalBlade app by Knife Rights is a handy way to keep within the law when you travel. Knife Rights is also a worthy non-profit for donations by knife lovers. They just got automatic knives approved in my home state of Pennsylvania.
Hey DCA, I'm trying to help my friend choose a new fixed blade for EDC and all around use and wondering if you could help me answer it? Here's the question he sent me, "I want a tough and rugged every day use kind of knife that will stay sharp enough to cut steak at dinner. Not like I'm going to be chopping trees down with it or anything but I want one that will stay relatively sharp but be tough when needed." I figured something around a 4" blade length for easy carry and in 3v or magnacut. I've suggested the Bradford knives catalog but wondering what you think? Thanks in advance.
KnifeAQ question: DCA, thanks for fielding our questions. Why don't we see button or similar lock knives on washers? Am I missing any obvious options? Under $100 ideally. Thanks.
DCA, Gitano is Spanish for the Roma people, also called Gypsies. The form factor of the knife is reminiscent of the Spanish Navaja style of knives, with the wider clip-point blade and downward curved handle.
Do you have any videos on pocket Balisongs? I have the Spyderco smallfly 2, it's fantastic. Mine is only a few months old. It really doesn't carry well in jeans because of the pocket clip but now switch out to a pair of sleep pants, it rides very well 🤷🏼♂️. So it mainly gets used around the house

Yo DCA I just got a new job working at a warehouse, I cut saran wrap, tape, plastic straps, and cardboard throughout the day. I need a knife (not a box cutter) that can handle the work load & get abused and ALSO have a clip strong enough to be in and out of the pocket but not get pulled out accidentally when lifting and moving products around. Any help is appreciated 👍
The ultimate "hand held" sharpening system that is idiot proof is the KME sharpener. It can easily be used without the stand and I have achieved some of my best results for a "fast and efficient" sharpening by holding the device. Now for those polished edged, you need the stand to play those games with this sharpening system. The WorkSharp Precision Adjust is a good, inexpensive attempt to copy the KME and served as my "gateway drug" into the world of high end sharpening. The precision adjust is still one of the tools I use to touch-up a blade, but it does not make the grade to be my principle sharpening system. Plus, unlike the KME, it is not hand held.
KME is great, but definitely can get pricey when you start optioning it out. I've probably got around $400 into mine by now. Extra stones, lapping films, kangaroo strop, rods for recurved and convex edges. It's like an addiction unto itself beyond the knife addiction. But I can't argue with the results. Whether I just want a decent toothy edge or go full out with a mirror polish, it delivers. I started with the Sharpmaker and got some mixed results. Upgraded to the Lansky and wasn't impressed with the hand held feature. I only use the KME with the stand, another $$ add on.
Hey DCA. Recently got a Joker Knife, and was wondering about other Spanish knives, mainly into folders but cool camping fixed blades are also of interest. Any recommendations? Under $150.
Hey David, I have a question: what is a knife that you think just oozes cool. From the sheath to the edge to the way you feel when using it. What's that knife that everyone will see and go "yeah, that's cool"?
Whenever I let non-knife people handle my Guardian Tactical recon 040, they all think it's super cool. OTF's in general will fire up folks who've never heard of or experienced one.
Hi David - I have a KniFAQ question for you. I drive a fuel tanker so I use my knife frequently. I currently carry a CRKT M16 EDC. I carry this bc it is lightweight and I can abuse it without having to cry like I would if I messed up one of my higher end knives. However, I find that it is somewhat underbuilt for some of the things I need to do - like cutting thick zip ties, rubber straps etc. Do you have any suggestions for lightweight yet robust folders that can tackle some of the heavier tasks but still carry well in the pocket and arent so heavy they pull my pants down?
I know it's a competitor's knife but I like SMKWs copper and D2 Kershaw Culpepper. As far as modern traditionals go, I think it was a great introduction to the genre. As far as magnacut making other steels obsolete, I personally like tool steels and agree on 1095. 1095 is just awesome for hard-to-kill woods and yard work blades. Don't get me wrong, I really want a magnacut blade... really eyeing a Doug Ritter RSK Mk1 in magnacut. That is gonna be one of my hard-use and less babied knives. That being said, I am a sucker for CPM-M4, K390 and D2. I am currently also in love with Spy27 which is fairly stainless, has decent edge retention and is super easy to sharpen.
I’d suggest that new exclusive Kwaiken Air you dropped a couple of days ago for the Gentlemen’s knife… just grind off that .07” to get it to that 3” max length.
Almost at 300k! Well done lads. Definitely bought a knife or two I first seen in these videos. Question: if you had £300 to spend on a celebratory knife to mark this occasion, what would it be?
I have been watching Mr Anderson for many years and he is fantastic, However I live in the Philippines in Cebu City to be exact and need to know can you ship items to the Philippines like your knife sharp sharpener and also can you send knives??
I have a carbon steel knife that has a discoloration on it. I was told that such a patina helps to protect the steel from corrosion. On the other hand some people like to keep a mirror finish on their blades. Which do you think is better?
I used to worry about my carbon blades getting stained , and definitely anoyoed if if rusted and got badly pitted. Now I force a partina on a new carbon blade, which helps protect against bad corrosion. I actually like the look of a patinaed blade, compared to a polished blade. 😊 Ps it's just about impossible to keep a carbon blade stain free, So don't worry about it, it doesn't matter.
Have a odd question. Should I buy the Boker micro tracker to replace my Bull Mastiff? I feel like I should have a fixed blade for the task of shaving off pencil size kindling form firewood. Did it once with my Mastiff it just felt weird using it for that job. What are you thoughts?
As a side note tracker seems to be on sale right now and it not to much more money for what I paid for my mastiff. So if I should upgrade (if the is the right way to think of it) which size do you think I should pick between the mini or micro?
Hey DCA, I’m looking for some examples of some micarta-handled slip-joint knives. Looking for some with a single blade and preferably under $100. I’ve looked around online but I’d like to hear some of your recommendations. Thanks!
Hi DCA, I have a question, long time ago I had a cheap kitchen knife set which has serrated slicer which was sharpened on both side of the blade. This knife was one of my favorite. Unfortunately this knife was lost and I tried to find a replacement and as of right now was not able to. All serrated kitchen knifes has been sharpened on one side of the blade. Do you know if anyone still made serrated kitchen knife sharpened on both side of the blade? Thanks in advance.
Hi DCA and team! Not the most exciting knife question, but… pocket clips! Are there pocket clips built better then others? Love me a good pocket knife but I bend so many clips just by getting snagged on things throughout the day. Do you have any recommendations on pocket knifes that might have a more durable clip option? Thank you for all the great vids!
Hey DCA, my Uncle has carried a knife as long as I can remember. He used to carry a Gerber LST, but retired it a couple of years ago because he sharpened it down to nothing. Now he's been carrying "Gas Station Knives," each one worse than the last. I'd like to buy him something quality that he'll want to carry for Christmas. He likes carrying in his back pocket, (so slim with no clip), one hand opening, and something under $50. I was thinking a QSP, but I'm not sure if the Parrot is slim. Thanks for the help and Happy Holidays to you and Thomas.
Buck 110 slim select or the inexpensive hunter versions would probably do the trick? And USA made if that's also a perk for you or yours. Kershaw Leek with the clip.removed also comes to mind. Good luck!
i'm an older woman who has little strength in my shoulders and arms. I'm looking for an automatic or flipper that opens easliy, is easy to carry on my belt or in my pockets (jacket or pants). Thanks
I have both of these sharpening systems and they are perfect for someone like me in the uk that can’t carry a locking folder without good reason. You don’t even need to be a knife person to have and enjoy those sharpening systems in this video 😁
What does a “good reason” mean to carry a locking folder in the uk? What are you “allowed” to carry for the basic reason of a knife being a useful tool? Do criminals respect the anti locking knife rule?
@@SGCXD To answer your question 3 inches or under none locking folders you’re allowed without good reason so like a Swiss Army knife or none locking keychain folders you’re allowed in public just as long as you ain’t being an idiot of course, Good reasons for any lock folder or fixed blade are if you use them for work, camping, fishing, hunting, using them in a demonstration UA-cam videos the list goes on. I could get into everything you’ve asked me but it’s a whole can of worms needless to say I have the precision adjust with the upgrade kit and the spyderco sharpmaker and they are fantastic systems most knives come at 20 degrees and under from the factory so very easy on both !
Hey DCA love the channel! I’m looking for a pocket fixed blade around $250 (not strictly) with a handle that somewhat fills the palm of my hand, would be cool if the handle was made from a nice looking wood and the blade be on the smaller side Thanks!
Yo, slightly bigger than mediocre palms. Can you recommend some pocket blades or sharp items under $50 and are not Victorinox SAK's. I know they are great multitools for gifting but I'd like to make this question more challenging for you. Thank you DCA and Thomas for entertaining our knife community. Bonus question, Can Thomas recommend I reverse tanto knife under $50 as well.
Was talking to a co-worker about ZT and Benchmade being hard use folders. He claimed, ZT 's were better, but I feel that Benchmade makes a tougher knife, the new Adamas being the best example because of the Cruwear steel. I love ZT, but I don't feel they are as tough as Benchmade, what do you think?
There are at least 3 good reasons that Benchmade is better for hard work. 1. Axis lock is stronger than frame lock 2. Benchmade runs on washers so dirt is not a problem 3. Variety of steels to choose from where ZT's are mostly 20cv or s35vn
Hey DCA here's my question. What is up with the insanity of the 1/2 scales? Such as the Giant Mouse Ace Riv in this video. Beautiful brass scale on one side, but then you flip it over to get ugly grey/plain. This drives me crazy, even if it is a short trip. Is there a practical reason this is done, or is it just a design choice?
KNIFEAQ QUESTION: Hello DCA, what's your "Best knife for anyone" (ala the Civivi Altus from a few videos ago), but USA made? Mine is the 14c28n Kershaw Blur (though technically it doesn't meet all YOUR criteria, it's a little long), I've recommended it countless times over the years.

She certainly doesn't cut much with her recurve, but I'd be willing to upgrade my bargin find sharpening stone for the Sharpmaker if it sharpens recurves well!
Save your cash, SharpMaker should really be called SharpKeeper. Good for touchups, nicely packaged and all but it takes so long to sharpen anything and keeping consistent strokes is a bigger challenge than marketed as 'up/down movement. You will have better luck with flat stones or DMT diamonds, especially for recurve blades. Good luck!
@@levelwu You’re wrong I’ve taken a super dull 8 inch chefs knife to a hair shaving sharp edge on the sharpmaker, it’s an idiot proof sharpener straight up and down is all that’s needed it’s really not a “challenge” Lol what are you sharpening exactly ? Because I can tell you straight away where you’re going wrong
@@levelwu I agree with you. I've had mixed results with the Sharpmaker. Keeping the blade perfectly up and down introduces variability. And if you're going to need to sharpen s30v or harder, you definitely need the diamond stones or you'll be spending quite a bit of time. The KME is much pricier, but the ease of use and results are far superior.
@@abc456f I disagree still I touched up my friends para military 2 on the fine stones and bought it back hair shaving sharp after 3 minutes, it’s a fantastic system the sharpmaker I love it for my kitchen and nail clippers 😉😉
I have a few knives that have convex edges, that are a pain for me to sharpen on a whet stone or sharpening rod. Will any of the sharpeners shown in the video put a good edge on those. Or should I get something else?.
They are easy to keep sharp on a strop with some abrasive paste. If you let them get dull, its a bit of a skill to learn on a sharpening stone or diamond plate , there's a slight rocking motion required. Once you get the knack there easy. There definitely just for free hand sharpening.
DCA, could you recommend a lunch box knife? Something for cutting meats and cheeses maybe spreading a spread possibly spearing pickles or olives? Yuck olives…
Anyone looking for a classy edc, without restrictions, should look at the exclusive CJRB Pyrite with the titanium bolster. I couldn't be more impressed with it, especially in its price range
I recently got my hands on a giant mouse ace sonoma and I absolutely love it, but even after tuning the pivot and making sure it was centered nicely I still feel a bit of almost grittiness in the action when I close the blade slowly like it's rubbing against the micarta handles on the inside. Is there a way to smooth that up or is this just something these models deal with? Thanks!
Did you disassemble and clean? Can you visually see the blade contacting the liner anytime as the blade drops? If it does, that’s your problem, loosen your screws and do the shim centering trick. If it’s not touching, how easy does the blade drop and how strong does the detent feel? Might be excessive lock bar tension, but on a linerlock that’s less likely. Otherwise it could just be the detent ball and bearings still wearing in a track. Keep fidgeting and see if it improves.
It’s insane that you can only carry a three inch knife in DC but in some other state someone’s walking up the road carrying an AR-15 perfectly legally. You Americans are funny 😄. In the nicest way possible.
Hello DCA i'm looking for a "pocket prybar" aka edc fixed blade. it's going to be abused, prying apart wooden pallets and/or wooden crates. i've got a couple of candidates, Smith & wesson 24/7, schrade schf16 and regime, boker life knife and the crkt ramadi. the criteria are that they are not expensive but not cheaply made (under a 100), i'm not going to use a 300 dollar knife as a prybar. and like i said going to be used as prybars so strong tip. thick spine and ergonomic. besides the ones i mentioned i would like to hear some suggestions i might have not thought of🤔
@@sbrunswick7043 I should've included the length 😅. it would need to be around 10-13cm/4-5inch to be able to carry it around as edc and not to scare people by having a big knife on my side. So inside waistband or pocket carry orrrrr I'll even be open to horizontal carry for something larger
Hey DCA! Im looking for a work knife to keep in my safety vest specifically to cut shrink wrap. Normally i prefer tough steels on blades with deep bellies, but they simply arent working for this task. I was eyeballing a hawkbill bladed knife but cant find any with good edge retention. Any suggestions?
Yes, very much so. That said, it may not be a good knife for everyone. It’s big, and it’s a pocket seam shredder. But it’s strong, relatively light, and it’s a lot of blade.
I have one (clip point) and I am quite happy with it. Tri-ad lock gives you a added level of safety. I carry mine in a pouch, as it does take up space in your pocket.
Love it. Out of my 200+ knives, if I had to pick just one for multiples of uses, the Recon 1 would definitely be in the running. I have an older model when they were still using Elmax, but the current s35vn are just fine. Cold Steel does a great job of giving you a super sharp blade out of the box, the triad lock is as strong as you'll ever need. Highly recommended!
Two questions: 1. I'd like a one hand, discreet pocket fixed-blade that won't scare non-knife people. Imagine the offspring of a Morakniv Eldris and a Baby Banter that mated under a full moon. It would have a 2" slicy blade and slim 3-finger handle. The sheath would have a pocket clip and cover ~¾ of the grip. The idea is the handle pokes out about as much as a Delica. Does anyone make such a critter? 2: How do I know if you answer my question, so I don't miss that episode?

Thank you and best wishes, the channel has brought my lady and I closer in our shared appreciation of knives. Somehow, 2 years of Knifecenter videos have brought her up to speed with my lifelong passion.
Thoroughly enjoyed this series. It's excellent!!!
I just got a GREAT edc if you are looking for a 3" by Kobalt it is a little heavier but that is because it's so well made. It's truly impressive when compared to any other at any $ range.
The CJRB Silax would work well for the 5-5.5" santoku knife. And it has a sheath in case she wants to take it somewhere.
David, you gift great gifts!!!
A KC exclusive Olive Drab Alox Victorinox Huntsman in Magnacut sounds like a great idea guys!!!
Thanks for answering my question on the show even though you responded to the comment that's why this channel is great interaction in videos and in comment section that's preem.
Hello Mr. Anderson welcome back! Which one is your flipper knife with titanium handles?
Might want to check the links. The one for the Shun Kanso Santoku isn't working properly.
Ceramic all the way. -DCA
Thanks for bringing this app to my attention. I’m in SC at the moment but lived in south central PA for 32 years. Miss my mountains.
Hey DCA, I'm trying to help my friend choose a new fixed blade for EDC and all around use and wondering if you could help me answer it? Here's the question he sent me, "I want a tough and rugged every day use kind of knife that will stay sharp enough to cut steak at dinner. Not like I'm going to be chopping trees down with it or anything but I want one that will stay relatively sharp but be tough when needed."
I figured something around a 4" blade length for easy carry and in 3v or magnacut. I've suggested the Bradford knives catalog but wondering what you think? Thanks in advance.
KnifeAQ question: DCA, thanks for fielding our questions. Why don't we see button or similar lock knives on washers? Am I missing any obvious options? Under $100 ideally. Thanks.
DCA,
Gitano is Spanish for the Roma people, also called Gypsies.
Hi David..i do ok on a 2x72 belt grinder, but i don't do well at all with the Lansky guide rod system, is the ken onion hard to use, and do you think i might like it.., I'm trying not to spend a large amount of money, and i want to try something better,, any advice will be appreciated thanx...
Hey DCA, I have seen cases for storing a folding knife collection. But what about fixed blades? Is there a recommended case for fixed blades?
Hey DCA. Recently got a Joker Knife, and was wondering about other Spanish knives, mainly into folders but cool camping fixed blades are also of interest. Any recommendations? Under $150.
I believe Muela is Spanish, and they have some nice knives for sale!
Hey David, I have a question: what is a knife that you think just oozes cool. From the sheath to the edge to the way you feel when using it. What's that knife that everyone will see and go "yeah, that's cool"?
I would say the crkt minimalist katana
Whenever I let non-knife people handle my Guardian Tactical recon 040, they all think it's super cool.
OTF's in general will fire up folks who've never heard of or experienced one.
Tops steel eagle is super cool 😎
Hi what do you recommend for sharpening lots of different types of knives
Hi DCA, what's the best folding knife for making peanut butter sandwiches?
Got a link?
@@Gelattoh for the SMKW culpepper?
@@desertratedc9596 yessir!I was the one that asked the question in the vid. Does it have a pocket clip?
@Gelattoh sadly no but I have been carrying it in a scout style horizontal sheath with a lanyard to pull it out
I’d suggest that new exclusive Kwaiken Air you dropped a couple of days ago for the Gentlemen’s knife… just grind off that .07” to get it to that 3” max length.
Almost at 300k! Well done lads. Definitely bought a knife or two I first seen in these videos. Question: if you had £300 to spend on a celebratory knife to mark this occasion, what would it be?
Rike Alien 4
Ps it's just about impossible to keep a carbon blade stain free,
So don't worry about it, it doesn't matter.
Hey DCA, any suggestions for a budget friendly (around 50 dollars or so) fidgety knife? Thanks
What knife would you like to see made into a button lock I would like to see the civivi praxis both mini and full size
The Spyderco Stretch k390 is about a perfect knife for me. Any other ideas that that compete with this magnum opus?
Are there any crossbar lock knives in magnacut? Comparable steels to sharpening magnacut?
The new FRN-handled version of the Hogue Deka is in Magnacut.
I only have one Magnacut knife and to me it feels fairly similar to sharpening 154CM.
Question - What's the multitool with the largest locking blade (that looks like a multitool and not a knife?
The precision adjust elite is the play. I can sharpen all of my pocket knives with that unit.
Excellent save with the Leatherman, DCA! 😄
What about the new Cold Steel benchtop sharpener? It's available on your website, but you haven't covered it in a video.
hi love, the show are there any places that will be able to ship your knife to or knives to sharpen them for you that won’t break the bank
Good luck!
How do I change my blinker fluid? Thomas?
Small Sebenza 31 with Macassar Ebony is my choice for Gents carry.
i'm an older woman who has little strength in my shoulders and arms.
@@grovesy333 sounds like a lot of unnecessary hassle for everyone that doesn’t act like an idiot in general. The sharpeners do look nice!
@@SGCXD I agree with you, the sharpeners are amazing and are quite budget as well you can sharpen a bk9 on the sharpmaker no problem !
@@SGCXD I just touched up my leatherman wave’s plain edge and serrated edge on the sharp maker and they are razor sharp now 😁
Hey DCA love the channel!
I’m looking for a pocket fixed blade around $250 (not strictly) with a handle that somewhat fills the palm of my hand, would be cool if the handle was made from a nice looking wood and the blade be on the smaller side
Thanks!
CRK Mnandi. For me the one and only modern gentleman pocket knife.
Hey DCA . without getting too "weedy " , why do so many frame locks only have scales on one side. Please show some knives that have them on both.
Buncha good stuff here: ua-cam.com/video/OXb_V7SJjbg/v-deo.html
Got damn!! How lucky you are to be friend of DCA! My man gifts some amazing 🎁
1. Axis lock is stronger than frame lock
2. Benchmade runs on washers so dirt is not a problem
3. Variety of steels to choose from where ZT's are mostly 20cv or s35vn
Hello from Alexandria! I just wanted to add that you cannot carry a concealed knife in DC, so deep carry pocket clips may not be a good idea.
That Gitano stole the show. Such a nice piece.
I'd also recommend either the We Banter or Baby Banter.
WOW! Nice catch DCA! 👀
A sharp knife with a handle is the best knife for anyone.
Did you like your own comment?
I am not DCA.
@@Pharto_Stinkus Sorry I for got we are in 2022 where all is love, all is equal, all is ❄. I liked this comment just for you, it will be my first and last like on my own comment.
The Viper Hug is the best modern slipjoint for the money IMO.

Hey DCA. What's a interesting knife whose main purpose is to open Christmas presents & packages?
How does that Spyderco Sharpmaker hold up against recurve blades?
My wife's favorite folder has some recurve to it and it's sort of a pain to sharpen.
The Sharpmaker works well with a recurve. You just sharpen it against the "corners" of the triangular stones, not the flat sides.
There
definitely just for free hand sharpening.
I love the Rockwall, I just really wish they did a thinner full flat grind. The blade looks dated to me for some reason.
The SILAX is very similar to a 5 to 5 - 1/2 inch Santoku !
Hello DCA i'm looking for a "pocket prybar" aka edc fixed blade. it's going to be abused, prying apart wooden pallets and/or wooden crates. i've got a couple of candidates, Smith & wesson 24/7, schrade schf16 and regime, boker life knife and the crkt ramadi. the criteria are that they are not expensive but not cheaply made (under a 100), i'm not going to use a 300 dollar knife as a prybar. and like i said going to be used as prybars so strong tip. thick spine and ergonomic. besides the ones i mentioned i would like to hear some suggestions i might have not thought of🤔
Take a look at the Ka-Bar Becker BK3 Tac Tool
Cold Steel Tuff Lite or just the Tuff would probably work pretty well, and they have a pretty aggressive hawkbill blade shape on offer as well!
Hey dca. What do you think about T5 steel?
Is the cold steel Recon 1 a good knife?
Two questions:
2: How do I know if you answer my question, so I don't miss that episode?
greetings from Poland, I'm a fam of the site
Looking for a price no object 5” chefs knife with great edge retention.
